Positive: The front desk woman who helped me with my reservation. She was super nice and she helped me get a better price instead of over paying. Negative: Everything was wrong with it. I had my 10 month old daughter with me. The drawers were ripped out so I couldnt use them it wasnt clean,I woke up to roaches,bedbugs and right next to my daughter there were ticks,Id rate it a 5 star trap house.

Positive: Where it was at. Negative: The tv stop working at 730pm I called the front desk but never was seen to fix the tv at 9pm I call the front desk and said I¿m going to bed, I had a large green nite lite all night long.

This place doesnt even Deserve a one store. I understand what is going on with covid-19 but this was my first time being in this city so Yay.... for the price and when I got to my rm.. Wow!First they put me in the back not safe should of put me in front. Then well the proof is in the pictures.

Positive: The price and location. Negative: The bathroom sink was the only problem. It sprayed extra water from the top. The sink would also fill up pretty fast and drain very slowly, but other than that everything was okay.

The service is really bad. They have a really bad bed bug and roaches problem. I got up at night to use the restroom and our room floor was literally infested with roaches. I called to notify the lobby and all they said was “sorry”. Then the parking lot isn’t secure at all there’s a lot of homeless outside the parking lot and the hotel doesn’t ask them to leave and they have no security. The bed sheets and pillow cases smell nasty like if they haven’t been washed. I wasn’t able to leave the room because the other hotels nearby were already booked so I had to deal with all this and stayed the night. I honestly don’t recommend staying there at all especially with the employees being so careless and rude at the same time. There’s also no covid-19 precautions at all there’s people roaming the hotel without mask and that includes guest and homeless people. I give this hotel a zero star.

I give 4 stars only because I prefer bigger rooms, Lobby spaces, for sure I love those with one wall size windows covered and that is a perfect 5 stars.

All-around great place to stay I highly consider anybody to stay at this location and request room 301 for the wonderful beautiful view of the Vincent blue Thomas bridgeit will bring your mind back to normal hell bring your all stresses out the door and especially after a wonderful staff member like the one they have at the front desk today they have a highly consider anybody to have a customer service agent like that hired at their location thanks again and I will be back soon

Cigarette butt in the sink, sticky floors due to not mopped properly. TV disconnected from power and when plugged in not connected to any input.

Worse experience - don’t stay here. The room was dirty, hair in the drain, sink would not drain, No hand soap, towels had stains, dirty hand prints on the walls and doors. Poor isolation you can hear the street traffic and woke up to domestic flight. Found disgusting stains on the sheets we requested new sheets and discovered even more horrible stains in every layer bedding that was probably never washed. Breakfast was advertised but were told after we arrived it was suspend. With other hotels in the area with similar price this place should not charge what they do. After reading other reviews I’m certain they are fake or staff written. (Repost -This post got delated I wonder why ?)

I stayed at vagabond 2 night and it was the worst. The elevator was broken and it stayed on the second floor for a long time. The room had smoke stays. I would never stay there again I would chose best Western plus better.

I love this place all the staff even the cleaning people are nice and respect everyone. They dont harass us or keep picking at us and the rooms are clean the towels they give us are always white and clean its a nice place. Roberto the front desk guy is laid back and cool and helpful to!!! Thank you guys for the peaceful stay here. ALSO THE maintenance guy EDD was very cool and helpful cool dude!!

Bed was really uncomfortable. Non smoking room reeked of cigarettes. There was pubic hair in the tub.

Always stay here when in town and before I moved from Pedro. Very nice!

Smh. I shouldve walked at check in. I never had hot water...and after working and then trying to decorate the room for my 1st anniversary with bf, I wanted to shower... never had hot water... I froze. That was truly the only thing I had to complain about... the name kinda says it all though...

I stayed their last week and I really enjoyed my stay, The girl in the front was very polite and helpful , The guy in maintenance Edward helped me with my luggage as I was arriving. Over all good experience. Thank you Marie For being very much attendant towards my husband and I. The rooms were clean and the breakfast room small but good variety. Very nice lady in the breakfast as well. Will be returning again.

I liked this place. It was clean, room was good size. Bathroom was big and nice lighting. Simple and easy check in. I would stay again.

We were going on a cruise this place was close with a shuttle. The place needs an overhaul BIGTIME. It needs a deep cleaning, the paint you name it, it needs help. The breakfast if you want to call if that in one of the hotel rooms. I was happy with the location just not the hotel.

The hotel is alright , any room ive ever stayed in was pretty clean the rooms are just very basic but I believe they are upgrading their rooms but I might be mistaken. Anyways I like the place I just dont like the location its in such a busy area and I personally prefer privacy and it sort of feels like you dont get much of that because its right on Gaffey st .

Horrible room... the sink was leaky and when me and my kids first stepped inside the room it had this horrendous smell. it smelled like dog or cat feces that saturated into the carpet. the bed had either bed bugs or fleas because my daughter has bites all over her. this all occurred in room 217, i will never stay in this hotel again horrible experience.

Price is great, bed was squeaky & hard, pillows harder. Breakfast was great. Staff very friendly. Convenient to the port.

I had to change rooms because the tv didnt work. Then I had to call the office because the next rooms tv turned on, but I couldnt change the channel. I also spent time swatting at insects in my room. Good times...not

Gang and drug dealer activity at night keeps waking us up in the middle of the night on a weekday. price is low, so thats the reason for an additional star. staff was ok.

Person working the front desk . was very helpful i had book a room at the all star lnn in san pedro down the street on 4 and Pacific got there and they said my booking was Cancelled ! because i have a debit card so i was stranded in san pedro ! but i found.. The Vagabond they had A ROOM FOR ME AND THEY CAME THRU FOR ME ..And they give a free continental Breakfast ! nice . THANK YOU . COME CHECK it out .this pic is from my room cool !!

Bugs everywhere inside and outside of the rooms. Elevator not working at 5am in the morning. Unsavory Guest. Not safe at all. Not a place to be with your family.

Very old inn. On very busy street so traffic noise loud all night long. Room needed painting. Room had strong smell of pot (it stunk like skunk). Trees in front of hotel filled with trash. Several homeless people with carts hanging around and sleeping it off in area.

We arrived on Saturday and left Monday morning. Bathroom was not cleaned and found pee on the toilet without even using it. We were not able to see the TV it was not programmed so i called front desk and no response. Sunday we finally got housekeeping to help us with the TV. Walked out from a Non -smoking room and and all you smelled was smoke. We had homeless people knocking at our door in the middle of the night. I called twice the front desk and no answer at all. Very poor and unprofessional staff members. I will not recommended this hotel to anyone.

The place was a shelter. I think a shelter was cleaner, noise, people smoking weed inside rooms. It just an disappointment

The front desk staff were very nice to check in with. Sadly, we found multiple cockroaches in our room, a very dirty bathtub, hair in the sink and counter, and then breakfast was served in one of the rooms where it was stuffy and the cleanliness made us not even want to eat there ( we went next door to mcdonalds).

My family really enjoyed our stay here! Maria, the Supervisor was super friendly and accommodating. My family had booked a weeks stay at the hotel and she really made us feel welcomed like family and that made all the difference in the world to us! The rooms are clean . The beds are comfy as well as the blankets. There is a microwave and mini fridge in each room. The staff were all super friendly and we could appreciate how much of an effort the staff put into their work there at the hotel. Most of the guests are pretty friendly and it was overall a pleasure to stay there. Being a clean freak, I was very grateful that although the decor is a little outdated (reminded me of the wallpaper and fixtures from the Home Alone movie) the rooms were well kept and one of the housekeepers, Salinda, made us feel very special with the way she kept up with our rooms, beds, and folded fresh towels. The AC and hot water/water pressure were awesome and I enjoyed showering there. The breakfast room was well stocked and had a variety of cereals, bagels, pastries, toast, Waffles, HB Eggs, Yummy Coffee, tea, and to my kids surprise, Hot Cocoa! Breakfast was complimentary and the breakfast hostesses Estella and Connie were very welcoming. We made sure to leave a little tip for them after wed eaten. Marilyn in the lobby was a sweetheart and was always there to answer our questions. Edward, in the maintenance department was very professional and had to come and fix our toilet after my daughter clogged it. The Manager, Roberto, was so understanding and kind. Anyhow, as I said before we stayed there for a little over a week and would definitely stay here again for the value, attention to detail, location, and most of all the wonderful staff!!! Myself and family send a huge thank you to all of the staff for their help with everything!

The customer service was great. My room was really spacious and it smelled really good . I really enjoyed the continental breakfast . I’m definitely coming here again. There’s no other place in San Pedro I would stay .. The pool is also open late that was a big plus for me.

I got a non-smoking room, but the room smells bad. Traffic noise was loud. Breakfast was included, which is a good thing and I actually watched TV. They provided a cable channel.

Horrible service, checked in. Went upstairs to my room, where I used the bathroom and I noticed all the mold in the bathroom. Reported to the staff member who checked us in and he wouldnt let us change rooms because I had used the bathroom. If I wanted to change rooms, I needed to pay for my current room plus at half price and check into new room at full price. My children and I felt robbed and so uncomfortable! We ended up staying in the moldy room

Not the best customer service skills from the night clerk tht was on. Should have pulled his pants up of his Was. Th5 bothered me the to the fact that this is a business and a person should always present themselves as if they are conducting Business at all times while on the job.

Checked in, bathroom ceiling is covered in mold. The bathroom has hairs all over it and its not from my crew because they are long hairs and we all have short hair. When i went to take a shower i noticed fleas next to the toilet. The beds have hair underneath the bedsheets. The fridge had many long hairs inside of it. This is by far the worst hotel in cleanliness ive ever stayed in. For $130 this was a complete ripoff and a motel 6 would have been a million times better. Maybe they dont clean all of the sheets when they clean the rooms. I have no idea but i do know this place will never ever get my money again. Never coming back. Absolutely filthy

The cold water in the bathroom sink wasnt working only hot water. Bath tub water didnt drain. Fridge wouldnt get cold or turn on. In a non smoking room and smelled like smoke. Something sliced my sons toe at the bottom of the pool. It seemed like one thing after another. The ppl who worked there were nice but it was a rough time for only being an over night stay.

The elevator smelled like urine and cigarette. Our non-smoking room definitely smelled like cigarettes as soon as we opened that door. There was a dirty soap in the bathtub and hair in the sink. Food crumbs all over floor. We also found change (coins) throughout the room . It looked like somebody went in their ,took off their pants and the change fell out and was left there .Tub had a gross black rim around the mat.( they dont clean very well.) I would expect this place to be just a bit cleaner being that they just remodeled the whole place five months ago. This was the first and last time I stay at a vagabond inn. Very very disappointed. The trash cans outside were overflowing with disgusting trash. Oh yes and How the heck are you supposed to fit all those guests in one hotel room for breakfast. The breakfast quality was fine but it was extremely frustrating trying to get around all those people just to get my bread toasted or some orange juice when there is about 15 people in one room trying to get their breakfast.!! PEOPLE NEED MORE ROOM FOR BREAKFAST!!!

Ok, its not a 5 star hotel, but its totally 5-star three star hotel. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean. And its very convenient to the waterfront.

Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit 2 Queenbetten.Das Zimmer war geräumig und sauber, ABER:nur ein einzier Stuhl im ZimmerWiFi war extrem unstabil und langsam; es hat mit vielen abgebrochenen Versuchen fast eine Stunde gedauert um bei Lufthansa den online- Check- in zu machen (im Zimmer hat es nicht funktioniert, nur ausserhalb!)obwohl ich ausdrücklich einen Föhn bestellt habe, musste ich den dann an der Rezeption ausleihen.in Bettnähe war keine SteckdoseDer Aufzug erfordert viel Geduld.Der Frühstücksraum ist ein umgebautes Hotelzimmer mit 2 Tischen.Das Frühstück verdient die Bezeichnung nicht

The night mgr was extremely helpful and courteous while i had an issue with a previous reservation from another hotel. He went above and beyond to accommodate me. The room was spotless and pristine in every way. Thanks Vagabond. Ill be back.

Wonderful Place to stay in.It’s close to almost anything that you might need. The Pool is right outside very fresh on Hot days ... and of course, any other day as well.I highly recommend it to the ones that’d love to visit or make an overnight stop.Enjoy!!!!

Was charged twice for my stay. 1st room I was given when I got there had the bed unmade, tv on, and trash everywhere. Had to make a complaint about it to the front desk so I could get a clean room.

For the price i paid, it was not good at all.. i have paid less at other hotels, and they are a lot better looking inside and out . It was in the ghetto side , lots of fights at night... did not leave or could not leave my family unattended.

The staff is nice. The courtsey shuttle to Long Island doesnt exist. To San Pedro port too it isnt that regular.Roberto at the front desk called us an uber though.
