Dont recommend staying here the room is really outdated and dingy, not inviting at all! The restroom was dirty and grimey and towels were dirty and rough. Not worth the price paid!!

Its definitely a hidden gem. This is the only place we stay when visiting our family. The managers here are very polite and treat us well. The rooms are very well kept with improvements made regularly. The area is not so appealing but the motel is a definite winner.

I personally like this motel better than others in the area because their parking is secure and the staff is very friendly. After going there a few time they already know what room I perfer and keep that room for me. The rooms are pretty big with non carpet floor which I personally like. Bathrooms are clean and they have alot of tv channel. Internet is stable for the most part. It good for what your paying for tbh.

The rooms were filthy. No sign of COVID cleanliness anywhere despite the signs saying they would. Definitely a party motel. Not for anything else. With the price paid there definitely should’ve been more cleanliness at least.

Great location if youre headed to the ports and want to save some money. This is a super modest no frills motel, showing its age. My complaint is that there had been no serious cleaning in a long time - there was black mold on the shower curtain and in the toilet, and dense, thick dust encrusted on the bathroom fan.

Hotel room was recently remodeled. Looked clean and well taken care of. Would recommend for someone staying the night at San Pedro

It’s a place to stay for the night. We stayed the night before our cruise. The staff were courteous and quick to check us in. The room was okay. The wooden floors were dirty. I was only able to tell because It showed up on the bottoms of my bare feet. The blanket was thin but the heater/cooler, although old and loud, worked well. Shower water was hot and I loved that it had a refrigerator and microwave. The locks on the door could’ve been a little more assuring. One block down was a burger place that was good priced and a gas station to get snacks. I also walked to the Family Dollar to pick some things up. It was about an 8 min walk. I’d probably stay here again if I just needed a night.

The room was cute! I absolutely love the bathroom! The service was very professional and swift! The room was very clean and comfy.

We got a last minute room here for $100 . It wasnt up to the standards of the other local motels charging that price. Our room was very dirty. The plastic shower curtain and towels were stained and had mildew. Television needed to be set up and programmed in order to watch. Missing ceiling vents allowed for cold air and bugs to come in. Overall, a really bad choice. Needs updating and new everything. Oh and they charge a hidden deposit upon check in for $50. Ugh!

This hotel is about the nastiest it could get , the head boards were dirty , the furniture were dusty and paint chipping . I walked in the restroom and the bathroom was just filthy. The tub was all molded and it was 2 dead roaches on the floor in the room . I walked in the room , seen all of that and walk right out and checked out . I told the front desk I did not want the room and to give me a refund. They refunded my deposit and I’m still waiting for Expedia to refund my initial charge. I took pictures and video of what I had to encounter . I wish I could post it on here so you guys can see and don’t even waste your time..

The room and furniture was VERY outdated. The bathroom walls hadn’t been cleaned in what looked like could be weeks, as well as the doors. The mattress, horrible. It felt like we were sleeping on a box spring. Please do not let the images on the website fool you. This room is not worth the $90 we spent.

The room itself was clean but the bathroom certainly could use some extra attention - mostly the tub and shower walls. I stayed here because it was central and within walking distance to a couple of places I wanted to go. While I understand its not the managers fault there is quite a bit of traffic noise (or maybe Im just sensitive because Im not used to practically any noise at night).But I was only staying for one night and the price was certainly reasonable but I personally wouldnt have picked it if I was with my wife or family.

The area looked run downOur room was in front of a alley that went straight thru parling lot our cars were parked in front where people were dpeeding through the alley..our room.had roaches disliked thier was no fre cancelation we had no choice but to stay 2 nights or lose our money.. the older male manager had a problem giving me a roll of toilet paper..the worse experience ever

Please dont fall for these pictures. We were in the room with the neon green wall. Out bathroom has mold on the tub, the sink, the light switch and the towel holder. The walls had fingerprints and dirt all over them. The baseboards were filthy. The door let so much light in it had no seal surround. The curtains were gross. This place is in no way a 3 star inn.!!!!!!!

Very accommodating motel. Booked a three bed room a friends decided to stay as well so the let us get a extra room last minute right next door. The staff is very flexible and nice

The guy at the front was very nice and patient. The room was clean but a bit cramped. The bathroom was dingy and kinda gross, could definitely use a remodel. The towels were rough, one had a long black hair on it, the other had an ant on it. Even with those problem I still might stay there again because its so close to the harbor and pretty cheap.

Health code violations everywhere you look. The price was way too high and the room was disgusting , dirty , I was scared to touch anything. I pulled back the blanket and there were crumbs and dirt in the bed. The towels had hair on them. I left immediately and demanded my money back. The lady at the front desk was very mean and rude. She scolded me for requesting clean sheets so, I thought, forget this! Got my money back and left.

The area was nice looking but when we got there we didnt even have an ice bucket. Which is essential to us and when my husband went to the office to ask for one. He was informed there wasnt an ice machine at all. So he was forced to leave and go to a gas station. The beds were doubles not queens so it was a good thing our 3rd person wasnt able to make it after all. And the beds were uncomfortable.

More like 1 Star InnNot All Star!!! The first impression is of an old old motor court. To Check in, you star outside and ring a bell at the window, and a cleark will take you info and hand you a key. There is no access to the office. Makes you wonder about crime in the area, but I did not see any. There are no elevators, so ask for a first floor or you will drag your bags up the concrete stars. There is also NO ICE available. The only concession is a soda machine. The room was clean, with window a/c, which worked. The mattress on the bed was very good, clean and comfortable. although the inside is clean, it is very apparent that it is old and needs some major maintenance and upgrading.It is ok for a night stay before the cruise form pier 92 or 93. The taxi from the hotel to the pier was $10 including a tip. The clerk called a taxi for us and it was there withing a few minutes There is a cafe (San Pedro Cafe) close by, buy I do not recommend it. Food there, while passable, was over priced and lacked flavor. The variety is not what I am used to for a diner. My bill with tip came to $46.90 for a coke, chips+salsa, Linguine Alfredo, and beef enchiladas Tres Amigos. Their menu says the add 3.5% to the bill if you pay by credit card, but they didnt in my case. Also close by is a super market that is fairly priced (Numero Uno Market)

Great spot when visiting the fishmarket. Cheap rooms that are fairly good. In downtown pedro so you can park and walk around. Owners are super chill.

This place was good, one of the best prices I found in the area. I liked that they provided a laminated page of the tourist/historical spots in the area. The window clerk was nice.

I cant fully tell you how much I appreciated the owners kindness. My boyfriend was taking me to Catalina Island for my birthday and stayed at the motel the night before. Let me start by saying the rooms are amazing. My boyfriend told the owner it was my birthday so they gave us an upgraded room. Everything was new and clean with woodfloors and a very nice mattress. We left early morning to catch the ferry and I didnt realize I left my purse pouch with all my money and credit cards!!! I found out when I got a phone call from them letting me know they found it and its at the office. When we got back I was glad to see everything was still in there the way I left it. Thank you so much.

Wir hatten das Zimmer 202. Dieser war nicht annährend wie auf den Bilder.Allgemein ist der Zustand dieses Motels sehr schlecht.Dazu kommen folgende Mängel:- Das Zimmer hat nach Curry gerochen (Da es sich oberhalb der Wohnung/Aufenhaltraum der Besitzer befindet und diese sind Inder/Tamille)- Die Fenster waren nutzlos. Es hat sich angefühlt als hätten wir draussen übernachtet. Wir haben gefroren (Da auch keine richtige Decke vorhanden war), und der Strassenlärm raubte uns den Schlaf.- Ausserdem hatten wir Haaren in den Badtücher.Positiv können wir nur das Gratis Wlan und die hohe Park möglichkeit erwähnen.Die besitzer waren i.OAlles in einem ist das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis sehr schlecht. Wir empfehlen es nicht weiter.

All Star Inn is an older motel, but they are renovating rooms little by little. The room we had had laminate flooring, so no nasty carpet like other motels/hotels. The bathroom had recently been renovated & although it could have been done better/neater as far as the work quality, they are trying to make the rooms more comfortable.They do not have a pool or a lobby to check in at - just a window, which works just as well, as long as its nice weather outside.The people I dealt with on both days were very nice & accommodating. The young man that checked us in even checked with us after we looked at the room to make sure it was alright for us.All in all a nice place to stay for a night or two - we stayed 1 night prior to a cruise we were taking out of San Pedro.

Pour nous apeurer encore plus, la fenêtre ne se barrait pas puisque le mécanisme pour la verrouiller était brisé! Je ne le recommande pas du tout!

We had to ask for a table and chair, towles and the room needs lots of work. No light bulbs in half the lights bathroom was gross. It did have a new floor in main room but thats it

The staff is super nice and helpful. Rooms are clean they have woodfloor so it doesnt have that musty carpet smell. I really like the wifi here it works well. Parklot is big and easy to park and its located close to the beach and pier. Overall it was a good experience id diffentaly stay here again.

Staff was unbelievable helpful. I came in early morning for my cruise the following day. It was before check in and I had two large bags with me. They let me leave my baggage there while I went and explored the city. When I got back the nice lady at the desk let me check in as soon as the room as cleaned. The room itself was better than I expected. My favorite thing was the strong wifi signal I had in my room. The following morning I ask if they can call me a cab, they said no need I will drop you off. The type of service was above and beyond.

Front desk is helpful in finding tours and activities around the Place. English is prevalent as much as Spanish.

The health department needs to shut this place down. I am allergic to mold and have not been feeling well since being in the room after a few minutes. I had to switch to a different hotel. After requesting to speak to a supervisor, i was taken care of.

Needs updating, not comfortable, would not stay here again. One night before cruise, next time somewhere else.

Its not no Hilton, but it sure as hell got the job done. Believe me the motel I was staying in the night before was all most twice the price and half the size. This place was a major step up compare to that place. The best thing was this place is literally like 4 blocks away from Lobster Feast so it was a quick Uber ride back;) Thank God for the All Star Inn.

Decent place not luxurious but clean and quite. Parking is better than most motels Ive been too. TV had alot of channels to watch.

Photos are deceiving... Was just very dinky overall. Stained floors, rusted faucets, and chipped paint. Usually places like this go for about $80 but we paid $115 including fees. My boyfriend isnt too picky but he said this was definitely one of the worst places weve stayed in during our two and a half years together.

All Star Inn é o lugar simpático muito bom orçamento. Minha esposa e eu onde na cidade porque queria para visitar a Ilha Catalina. O motel é muito próximo ao terminal e que nos permite deixar o carro lá durante a noite. proprietário também foi muito bem nos deu uma viagem para o porto.

Very nice service, Went here pre-cruise. Sam the manager was super nice gave us tips on where to go and what to see. Rooms are clean with wood floors and nice comfy beds. For a little extra I was able to get a King Size room with super fast wifi and Netflix.

It was dirty and ghetto. There was one Outlet to charge my phone which I had to move the big old TV out of the way to do. The Outlet was so old the Chargers kept falling out. There was no refrigerator no microwave no nothing. There were 2 vending machines the one I tried stold my money. There were homeless people camped out right around the corner and digging in the trash. If I could give it a - 5 I would. I would only recommend this Motel to my worst enemy. If youre looking for any amenities youre absolutely 100% out of luck. Dont stay there. Oh and I forgot to say this location was located on Pacific Avenue in San Pedro, CA

Friendly staff, they have wheel share access to some room. Room is clean, not the restroom. Thoe, they dont have water fountain. You need to get your own water especially if you have kids.

First, they told us there were no rooms available when we showed up in person, but then we left and went on Expedia and found that there was a room we could book there so we booked it through them. Then the room was kind of subpar wasnt dirty wasnt super clean and very dingy looking. then we were woken like 5 minutes before check out and harassed until we checked out about 30 minutes late and they deducted$10 from our deposit and they were very rude about the whole situation.

Lady at front desk was friendly, but location looked very unsafe. Hotel looked like they tried to polish up a turd.

Not the cleanest place. But the staff is friendly and helpful. Not pointing any fingers at anyone, strictly just an unbiased comment; but my fiancé got bed bug bites a day after we stayed there. You get what you pay for.

While its out dated this didnt bother me at all. The towels had hair on them. The microwave is rusted in spots on inside door may be due to age. No shampoo nothing. Shower curtain is Mildewed. It makes you feel dirty to stay here. My husband got bit by something and Im not sure what it was. Sure 100 isnt a bad price but I learned my lesson is rather pay more for a clean room. The staff however is so very sweet but I felt I needed to give an honest review. There is no way I would stay here again. A little paint and deep cleaning like shampooing carpet would go a long way. So for the next guest I have left you sealed soap, shampoo,conditioner and qtips. I hope it helps out for some people who may just assume they would have these simple yet much needed items during a hotel stay. Best of luck if staying here. I even used my jacket on top of the pillow I slept on as its that bad/

Really over priced place. Semi-clean but the furniture was broken and old, dilapidated and sad. The television picture was strange and off, making it hard to watch with any sincerity. The people at the front desk were very friendly, I must say. And the AC in the rooms were amazingly ice cold. ... But it doesnt make up for the 1 minute of warm water you get when you shower.. Or the incredibly slow internet speeds offered as an amenity. Never have I had slower internet. Wow.Oh, and in the morning my fiancé and I were hounded by a band of vagrants trying to run credit card scams while pitching to us some story about a wife and a debit card blah blah.But anyway, like I said. The people were nice.
