Perfect location amazing staff complete paradise. I woke up daily to fresh air sunshine and the beautiful beach. THe hotel itself was very clean, great customer service

Stayed at Sunbreeze in Nov 2020 and it was awesome! It is in an awesome location and the staff is great! We asked a million questions and they always answered us with smiles! The grounds are well kept! The restaurant on site is reasonably priced. I hope to return soon!

Excellent hotel and incredibly convenient to the best diving operation on the island (Ambergris Divers) and is literally a walk across the street from the Tropic Air Terminal. The staff are always incredibly friendly. The hotel is a little dated but very comfortable with excellent air conditioning and showers. Only complaint is that internet is awful, not because of ‘island bandwidth issues” but because of the token code system that they use to allow you onto their WiFi. The system kicks you off so frequently that it makes it completely useless. Overall is my favorite place to stay, but really wish they would fix internet issues.

So nice being able to walk right from the airport to the hotel but immediately feel transported to a different world. the resort was beautiful, relaxing and calm. i kept pinching myself trying to see if i was really just in a dream!!! great pool, dock, dive shop, and little stairs down to the ocean. our room was spacious with more than everything we needed!

I have stayed here a few times and usually it is a wonderful place to be. However I had a terrible interaction with the manager Julia Edwards, and she was very rude and it was un-called for. Belize is under curfew due to Covid precautions. There are many rules that were not told to us, like no friends allowed in your room nor on the grounds with you. We were a small group of girls and did not bother anyone, but Julia was upset with us and made us feel very uncomfortable. Julia will likely scream and yell at you with no regard to your feelings as a paying customer. Everyone else is wonderful, all the other staff was accommodating and the restaurant is one of the best on the island.

Nice hotel, tucked in slightly from the beach to keep vendors etc out. Nathan, Emil, Keone and ryan were all amazing, the front desk ladies and housekeepers all super friendly and helpful. Would stay there again in a heartbeat!The conch chowder, brisket pizza, jerk chicken pizza, scallops- all delicious (at blue water grill attached to the hotel).

It was clean, the staff was exceptional and the restaurant on site had delicious food and drinks! Spa service was also done well.

The staff at the Sunbreeze Hotel really made my stay special. There were several excursions that I wanted to do in and around Ambergris Caye, and the Sunbreeze Hotel did all the bookings for me, including the roundtrip air transportation from the mainland. If a particular excursion was not one of the usual ones offered by the hotel, then they did the research and found outside vendors on my behalf. It really was one of the easiest trips I ever planned because of the hotel staffs assistance. Lupita at the desk stood out as being especially helpful. The restaurant staff was very helpful as well. After a somewhat successful fishing trip, the kitchen took my catch and made me up something special with it, only charging me a small service fee for the preparation and none for the food itself since I caught it myself. Nigel at the hotels Dive shop was also very helpful in helping me adjust my scuba and snorkeling plans based on weather conditions and other factors. I dont normally write reviews, good or bad, but I felt I would be remiss if I didnt give credit to the wonderful staff at the Sunbreeze after all the help they gave to me in making my trip as nice as possible.

Beautiful Hotel right across from the airport and in the middle of San Pedro. I enjoyed the ocean view room and hammocks around the hotel. The pool is the center was prefect for lounging. My boyfriend was getting such a certified at the dive shop on the hotel and it was a great experience for both of us.

Excellent location-middle of the island. we liked that it was set back a bit from the beach where everyone was walking.quiet & peaceful, stepping through the front doors to the hustle and bustle of the city. rooms were spacious and clean. staff friendly and helpful. water and ice was always readily available. provided beach towels and easily exchanged for clean beach towels. Blue Water Grill had many gluten free options through out the day (husband with sensitive celiac disease never had issues eating there)

First off, I would just like to thank the front desk staff. The most friendly people we encountered on our trip. They are extremely helpful and will always have a smile on their face. The rooms were exceptionally clean and the shower is HUGE. Beds were comfortable and there’s a nice flat screen tv with cable in the room. The pool area/restaurant is beautiful right on the beach. Although there isn’t an actual beach to swim at, Ramon’s resort just a short walk South has a beach that you can swim at. Sunbreeze is in the perfect location too. Right in the heart of San Pedro by all the good restaurants and outdoor excursion companies. Can’t recommend Sunbreeze hotel enough!

Sunbreeze has a beautiful pool & landscaped grounds. The location is ideally situated for snorkel tours & walking around downtown San Pedro. The rooms & shower are spacious and clean & and the waterfall showerhead is so relaxing. Easily one of the nicest hotels in the area. We loved it!

Oasis of calm from the golf cart madness on the street outside. Lovely views from the bar and restaurant. In October both closed about 9.00 pm.

This is a nice hotel, however I gave it two stars for the following reasons; this hotel is one of the more expensive in the area. 1) There are no irons in the rooms. If you want one, you have to physically go to the front desk to sign one out. 2) They give you one beach towel per room. If by any chance you forgot it by the pool, and it is removed by someone else whether its up housekeeper or not, you have to pay 25 US dollars for it , because it is considered lost unless you return it to them. 3) the main front door of the hotel is locked after 10 or 11 p.m. the front desk personnel has to physically unlock the door to let you in or out. I have never experienced such thing before. 4)as youre probably already know, Breakfast is not included.Now the good; I like the location of the hotel. It is just three blocks away from everything. You can still walk to the downtown area easily. You can take the streets or you can walk the beach. The hotel is very clean. The pool is nice. The bar is nice. The restaurant is nice. The court area is well kept. I think it is a great place to bring your family because of the atmosphere vs. staying in the center of town with everything is going on. However, if you are a single person or you are going to Belize to party and have a wild time, you should book a room at a less expensive hotel in the middle of the downtown area (ideally by the park) where you can easily access your room just within a few feet or block away.

Schöne und zentrale Anlage. Direkt am Flughafen (kein Fluglärm) und zu Fuß nur ein paar Minuten vom Fähranleger entfernt. Von hier aus kann man prima den Ort mit all seinen Restaurants (z.B. Elvis Kitchen oder Caramba) erkunden.Die Angestellten sind durchweg freundlich und auch die Jungs an der Bar tauen auf, wenn man sich ein wenig mit Ihnen unterhält. Dafür gibts dann auch den ein oder anderen Tipp. :-) Das zugehörige Restaurant ist ebenfalls gut und hat aufgrund seiner Lage am schmalen Strand auch einige Laufkundschaft. Die Zimmer selbst sind recht groß und sehr sauber, auch wenn sie nicht allzu viel Charme haben.Hervorzuheben ist noch der hoteleigenen Steg: Von hier kann man sich bequem bei Bootsausflügen (unbedingt mit LilAlphonse schnorcheln gehen) abholen lassen.

Perfect location for a trip to Belize. The Sunbreeze Hotel opens up directly to the beach, as well as provide an easy path along the main beach front where restaurants and cafes abound. The Belize Chocolate Company is just around the corner, and pelicans dive gracefully in front, catching morning meals and preening themselves. Ambergris Divers is next door and is an affordable $55/person snorkeling trip (twice per day) into Hol Chan. So, so easy to enjoy yourselves. Hotel amenities are not incredible, and the rooms dont provide ample light, but things are comfortable, and you probably wont be spending much time indoors. Make a reservation to the Blue Water Grill ahead of time (even make this plan before you go).

The Sunbreeze is a very good hotel. I would stay there again. Upsides: Location is excellent, near lots of dining, shopping, bars and the airport. The noise of airplanes was occasional and not noisy. The hotel is very clean. The staff, including check in is very friendly. The showers are excellent. The wifi is excellent and is available in the rooms. The TV is from Miami and has most channels you want, including the networks and CNN. Scuba diving and snorkelling are right at the pier. The pool is a little cool but very clean. The hotel is very safe. The restaurant is good, but book if you want to go on sushi Thursday’s. There are several bars and other restaurants on the beach and within easy walking distance. There is lots of free golf cart parking out front. James and the rest of the porter staff are helpful and friendly. Negatives: The wheels on the cleaning carts are very noisy at 8am. They need to be replaced with soft rubber wheels. For this reason wear ear plugs unless you are an early riser. There is really no beach in front of the hotel, but there is an excellent beach 5 min walk south of Sunbreeze. Just walk down to it. Overall I highly recommend this hotel and would stay there again.

Beautiful property right by the beautiful Caribbean. Blue Water Grill restaurant on the property is beyond excellent. The staff there arePerfection. I highly recommend it. Just dont expect the Hilton.

Clean and spacious rooms. Great hotel service, aircon was either freezing or off! Not a lot of brekky options but its good to go for a wander. Great location and nice pool and hammocks!

I recommend this hotel. Clean, friendly staff, nice pool, great location and walking distance to all the shops and restaurants. The beds were a little squeaky and too soft. Pillows were too thick so I didn’t use them (I’m a back sleeper). Onsite restaurants is okay. I recommend pork belly tacos. The spa was wonderful. I recommend getting a massage and facial combo or at least a facial. Totally worth it.

Everything we needed was right there. I loved having breakfast at the Blue Water Grill every morning looking at the Carribbean. The staff at the hotel and restaurant were amazing.

No complaints. A nice place right by town. Wasn’t noisy. The A/C was as cold as you want it.

The hotel was beautiful and the pool was also amazing. The only thing I didn’t like is they they close the doors at 10pm and the guy who had to open the door after hours was not friendly at all. Overall the location was ok but the property was beautiful. Another thing I did like was the golf carts right next door.

The hotel itself was very nice from the outside with a good restaurant and bar. The beach is right outside that, literally from the steps. It’s perfectly located at the edge of the town so you could walk along the beach side to a lot of great restaurants. Above all though, I’d really like to commend the staff. World class people, extremely attentive and always with a smile. Would stay again!

We loved the location and the actual hotel was a good value for the money. I would’ve given 5 stars but, as soon as we got there (feb 20th) we wanted to go to the bar to relax and have a cocktail & the main reason I booked this hotel is because we wanted a bar by the pool. It took a while for the guy to greet my husband while he went down to wait on me & then I asked 2 times for a “to go” cup & didn’t get it. so I told my best friend to ask. Each time we didn’t get it- no it wasn’t busy at all in the restaurant or bar. Finally I just chugged my drink so I could walk next door and inquire about golf carts to rent before they closed. After that, I didn’t bother ordering drinks anymore at the hotel. Just bought a cup and a bottle of rum at the store & saved the money & time. Otherwise, everything went smooth for our trip.

Ate in the restaurant twice. Lunch-had the pork belly tacos. Good flavor but very dry. Breakfast- Had bacon and eggs. Very simple. Served me overcooked eggs and raw bacon at first. Sent back. Received undercooked eggs and bacon cooked in the fryer the second time. If you cant cook a simple breakfast what kind of cook are you? And to cook bacon in the fryer is just pure laziness. Also not happy that i couldnt smoke outside my room. Otherwise great location by the airport and nice rooms . Find a new cook

The hotel staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. The main negative was the overly soft beds which sank in the middle. They could raise their score with larger queen size beds (only have full size) that dont sag.

Presente una piscina, un buon bar, un ristorante un molo privato, una zona amache rialzata molto bella e una piccola spiaggia purtroppo non balneabile a causa dellimmensa quantità di alghe che deturpa tutto questo lato dellisola.Le stanze sono molto grandi con un interessante zona prebagno nel retro dove é presente il larmadio, i lavandini, cassaforte ecc

Had an excellent stay at the sunbreeze hotel! it is in an excellent location near all the restaurants and stores. the staff is very friendly and super helpful. the facilities are clean and well kept. very glad we stayed here!

The Sunbreeze is a nice facility literally steps from the airport in San Pedro. The hotel room was more than adequate. It was spacious and well laid out. The only down side to the room was the very small television. The completeness of the cable channel offerings balanced that out for me. The pool was wonderful. We enjoyed breakfast in the restaurant twice. Dinner hostess was not nearly as friendly as breakfast staff was. As a result we never ate dinner st the hotel. I am sure the food was probably good in spite of her attitude. The sunrise from the beach, bar and pool deck was breathtaking. To our delight a staff member allowed us access to the dock when he realized we were taking sunrise pictures. The service we received was very good. We will stay there again.

So before you get on site, Lupita is quick and wonderful with scheduling your excursions and tours. Then when you get here, the staff is super friendly and accommodating. There’s tons of shops and restaurants in walking distance, it’s quiet, BEAUTIFUL views, and large clean rooms with gorgeous bathrooms and comfy beds. Me and my girls friends have had our expectations exceeded in every way during our stay.

Carísimo para el hotel que es, la zona está fea y muy sucia. Fotos parecen q estás en una bella playa del Caribe, muy lejos de la realidad, está el agua sucia por embarcaciones y no es apta para bañarse. Busquen otro lugar en San Pedro y los tour por el hotel mucho más caros que si los contratas en el exterior que hay gran variedad. Personal de recepción y las que hacen las habitaciones muy agradables. En el restaueante no tanto....

Staff is friendly with awesome dive facilities attached to Hotel. Love the beach access for walking anytime of day or night. Enjoyed the pool with bar and restaurant attached for lazing around and enjoying the sunshine. Would definitely stay here again

It was ok at Sunbreeze Hotel, food there was the best part of the experence. I was not happy with the dive operation they had chosen to take care of their divers. They could never give you a straight answer on anything, our dive master was not that interactive and just ran through the motions. The dive master for the other group was more engaging and showing there divers a good time. We had a great day land trip excursions booked through the hotel which was the best part of the trip.

I stayed at the Sunbreeze during a 4 day snorkeling adventure and it was exactly what I needed- no frills, low key with easy beach access and suite amenities like filtered water and community hammocks. Check in was super easy and I found all the staff there incredibly helpful and timely. The food at the restaurant is some of the best I have ever tasted and I ABSOLUTELY loved my snorkeling trip I booked through the hotel. Its definitely a MUST SEE! Other than that, I appreciated that it was a 2 minute walk from the airport and just with the wifi was better, and the A/C unit not so loud. Other than that I HIGHLY recommend this place for families, solo travelers or couples looking for a low key getaway that wont disappoint.

Stayed 7 days. Great location right across from airport, walking distance to lots of shops and eateries. AC out one night but fixed the next day. Small ants in the bathroom but treated and gone next day. Rooms comfortable; great beds. Wonderful staff, hot coffee in the early am. Right next to one of the best restaurants, Blue Water Grill. Great pool; bar staff friendly. Garden area groomed daily. Great lookout patio for viewing amazing sunrises. Enjoyed our stay

Great diving (or beach) destination.

This was by far one of the nicest hotels in San Pedro. Beautiful location and hotel with a well kept pool and delicious on site restaurant Blue Water. The front desk was so helpful in helping us plan our tours and suggestions for food. Loved the whole trip and hope to go again! Rent bikes to explore the island and you have to visit Caye Caulker island!

Everyone at the hotel went out of their way to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. Nothing was too much trouble. As for the convenience, the front desk is about 25 yards to the check-in desk of Tropic Air. You might think being right at the end of the San Pedro runway would be a noise hazard, but honestly from inside the hotel you couldnt hear a thing. Plus its right on the ocean with an excellent restaurant. Within a ten-minute walk either way on the beach brings you to perhaps a couple of dozen other eating and drinking places.

Everything was very good, the restaurant was very good, the staff, the room, even the wifi is very nice.

Pricey...but they have a pool and it is normally quiet. You can find slightly smaller rooms right on the beach for half such as Holiday Hotel (I stayed here after Sunbreeze). Its a quick 5 minute walk from the airport.

Convienent location across the road from Tropic Air. Nice grounds with comfortable outdoor seating and a good sized pool. Popular spacious beach front restaurant onsite - Blue Water Grill. Be sure and pop upstairs to their second story lookout for a great aerial picture of hotel and pool area and the Caribbean Sea.

The staff at Sunbreeze is awesome. Coffee was ready every morning, they even called for us to have a golf cart delivered to the front door of the hotel. The hotel is clean, beds were comfortable, pool is awesome and our 9 year old son loved the hammocks in the courtyard.

Fantastic location. Very clean and comfortable. I wish they had loaner bicycles for guests, but those can be rented nearby.
