Maybe I just expected too much?? I booked my stay ahead of time with no issues, checked in promptly with no issues.. When I checked, I checked to get my key and make sure I did so in time.. once I finally arrived to the room for my stay I have to say I was very disappointed.. I called the front desk time let them know if a couple issues, one most importantly being in regards to the cleanliness of the room.. A staff member came to my room and have me a rag and spray bottle with barely any fabuloso in it.. Whatever, I proceeded to clean the room myself, and notice more unsettling things.. Honestly at that point I was intimidated to complain any further considering what was done when I complained the first time.. I just stayed in my room and kept to myself for the rest of my stay. For the price I paid I should have just stayed in a motel6 or similar hotel instead.. I really wanted to love my stay here.. Wish I would have felt more welcomed and customer service more courteous and I would have gladly given five stars..

3 of 4 room lights fixed. Wish they would change to led instead of flourscent lighting. VAOr veterans were accommodated some how. My friend is a disabled blind vet and nothing was mentioned at front desk. Wouldve help being in the big city to get big city doctors. Being on a limited income that $ help on room stays would have really helped.

The first room we were given smelled of stale cigarette smoke. We were moved to another room that had hardwood laminate flooring and it was much better. The walls are paper thin and we could hear the neighbors having a casual conversation and we could really hear them when they argued at 2am.

Chunks of food or vomit under the bed, the strong smell of men’s urine in the bathtub. Worst bedding ever, so thin and not at all warm...and no extra blankets in the room. No dishes, pans, even paper coffee cups or a coffee maker in a room with a kitchenette! That is SO dumb.

I like this place. nothing fancy but rooms are clean and hotel over all looks nice and clean. front desk staff very friendly i really nothing bad to say about this place. thank you

Had to just use the place to let my Girlfriend cool down. They never gave us any grief. Very nice people. Thats what l like to see. Its definitely plan to stay there.

Came to Santa Rosa to inspect Kaiser.Of course, Kaiser being Kaiser in California, top notch healthcare.Im more interested in how people within the community treat each other.If its anything how Adrian the GM of this hotel treated me and is teaching his staff, then kudos for the care and more than reasonable accommodation.My experience in Santa Rosa, great people all around who care and serve each other for the greater good. Well done Santa Rosa!

The best part about this place is the friendly staff that work there. Good service . We booked late in the evening and just needed a place to stay for 2 kids and 2 adults.The elevator smells of cigarettes and was dirty.The hallways smell of cigarettes.The room we stayed in smelled of cigarettes.The bed sheet had a stain on it. (Didnt keep me from falling asleep)The room was okay but I would have preferred cleaner. (Im not picky).The breakfast is very bare bones. Pre packages muffins, granola bars, packets of oatmeal. No fruit seen. For the price I would expect better.

Way overpriced considering we stayed at the Hyatt in Santa Rosa a month ago which is a 4 star Hotel for the same price. Also our room was dirty, see pictures... The staff was super friendly and helpful at least.

What a joy it is to find long term lodging at a reasonable price thats clean and comfortable. My present life situation finds me in limbo after selling my house. I made the right choice when choosing ESA Santa Rosa North. The people do make a difference starting with Adrian Velasquez the General Manager and his assistant Sandra and all the other employees like Jennifer in Maintenance or anyone on their staff. Adrian, especially always demonstrates a firm understanding of how a hotel should be run and transfers that onto his fellow co workers. I know I will enjoy the rest of my stay thanks to the wonderful people here.

I wrote a review earlier I was very upset about the timing and prior visit upon finally getting the attention of Jessica which was doing laundry she was extremely polite handled it got me my room ASAP she was awesome and when I came back to get the coffee pot Brie was working and she doing laundry as well I could tell that they both were hustling to make sure things were getting done and she was extremely polite and such a doll I just want to thank the both of them and thank you

The beds were clean and the kitchen area including the frig were clean Dust on light fixers and toilet tank and hair in shower. The furniture was clean but slightly shabby as was the carpet. No amenities, we had to ask front desk for a coffee maker. The price for the two nights was very reasonable and the location was good for easy access to freeways and down town. The two staff members I met were as friendly as possible during these trying times.

The room smelled like cigarette smoke and made our luggage smell like cigarette smoke. The room was also pretty run down. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Disappointed at the smell of tobacco smoke on the property and no coffee/coffee maker on property.

Most recently I checked in on these dates,01/01/2020, 12/31/2019, 03/07/2020On 12/31/2019 ( New Years Eve) Was my first check in date Cleanliness was a 5 for a Stay America its workable But Most definitely could be better this room is located on the Third Floor.01/31/2020 Another Date I checked in, The TV in My room did not work or phone I couldnt reach Front Desk, I did go to the front desk to inform her that the TV was not turning on she asked if i unplugged it and she gave me another remote and told me that she would inform her Manager, I tried the other remote and still TV did not turn on so I asked if I can get a different room she did and it was okay. Cleanliness a 5 03/07/2020 I checked in This day was My Birthday and I did not have time to switch rooms, However the TV in room was not working. Was unable to switch Rooms were booked up.

I spend a lot of time on the road during the year and I usually stay at Extended Stays because they are economical. Some are better than others but I’ve enjoyed my stay here so far. I’ve been here for two months and the folks that work the front desk have been great. I’ve had some not so good stays at some but this one has been one of the best ones I’ve stayed at.

DO NOT STAY HERE! Came into the lobby, and immediately heard someone hacking their lungs up down the hall. Our room was NOT clean. The bed hasn’t even been fully made and a pillow was missing. When we tried to speak to the front desk about it, they were no where to be found. I went to the lobby and called from my room 3x. Because we have dogs with us, we have very limited places to stay and that is the ONLY reason we haven’t left. Extremely unsatisfied with the cleanliness, the staff, and the whole experience. We will never be staying at an extended stay again. I repeat, DO NOT STAY HERE. If I could, I would rate this place a zero.

This was the most disgusting place I have ever stayed at. You can tell no one cleaned the room before hand, all they did was fix the bed. Someone’s food was on the floor, drink spilt and sticky, a child’s toy left on the floor, hair I’m the bath tub as well as someone else’s bath water. Didn’t ever stay there after the first night because we were so disgusted. DO NOT RECOMMEND STAYING HERE

I havent had a stay in a hotel this bad in a while. We booked 2 rooms, one with a single bed and one with two beds, as I was staying in the same room with my Dad, who is disabled. There was only one person working at the hotel apart from the cleaning crew. She was overwhelmed, to say the least. She informed us when we showed up that our rooms were ready, and got us set up with keys and everything. When we got to our room, there was only one bed. I went back down to correct the error and told her we had booked a room with two beds as I have to help my dad at night. She said, oh, ok, let me take care of that and set us up with another room. The second room was exactly the same as the first room, one bed, just on a different floor. I explained to her again the situation, and she said there were no rooms with 2 beds available and asked if I wanted three rooms. I felt like I was talking to a wall. Well, I was forced to sleep on a roll-away bed, and half way through the night switched to the lounge chair in the room with my feet propped on the bed. In the meantime, air conditioner in our room didnt work, and had an error code on the thermostat. Who was I supposed to call? The wall downstairs? I dont think so. The only thing I can say was that the place was relatively clean. Overall, the stay was the worst I can remember in decades.

The service was excellent from the ladies at the front counter. The room was simple but adequate. The bed was pretty firm so didnt make for a great nights sleep. Overall it was an okay room and the price was fair.

Weve stayed at Extended Stay - North for a few weeks, long enough to have interacted with day and night staff, cleaning and maintenance staff, and many times with the front desk staff. There isnt a single bad one in the bunch. Everyone has been friendly and accommodating. Most important to me, they are very respectful. THANK YOU ESA-NORTH!!!!

The staff was friendly and put in extra effort to accommodate my needs. They were able to work with me to extend my stay at a momemts notice and were extremely understanding and helpful during my entire stay.

Staff was friendly, our studio room was clean, and they were accommodating and quick when we asked for more pillows.It was annoying that the 3rd floor seemed to be half smoking half non-smoking, we slept non-smoking but right off the elevator you smell smoke. Also the continental breakfast is just coffee, muffins and granola bars. We had a long day ahead of us and couldnt eat again until 1pm, had we known it was just muffins we wouldve left warlier than 7am and went out to eat.

First night was decent. No problems checking in or getting our room. We paid thru Priceline and reserved the room in advance. We were reserved for a total of two nights. The only issue - & why i chose to rate for only 4/5 stars - we were asked to move in the middle of our stay. The morning after our first night we received word from the manager that our room was double-booked and the temporary resident coming in after us (at noon that same day) was booked for a total of 3 months. Little longer than our stay, for sure! The manager offered what he called the king size upgrade. I accepted the offer but not because of the upgrade, thankfully and for my own good. The king size upgrade didnt feel like an upgrade at all. (Smaller room & no dishes or utensils.) I did, however, ask the manager for a coffee pot and was given one, along with coffee and creamer from their employee break room. Manager did seem customer service driven. He was extremely polite, professional, and apologetic of their mistake. Gave me a voucher for a free night stay, good for any day at any property of our choice (& why i didnt give a rate of less than 4/5 stars).I would stay there again if I was in need of a hotel in that area but it wouldnt be a hotel Id go out of my way to visit a second time.

It smelled like cigerrettes really badly in the halls and even in our room.. Kinda foul. It was hard for my 18 month old to breath easy. He got sick after we stayed there

By far the grossest hotel I have ever stayed at!! I would have given it 0 stars but the girl at the front desk Bella was incredibly accommodating since we were in town for a funeral. Our room, specifically the carpet, smelled like cat piss, the refrigerator made horrible noises all night long, mold along the top of the shower wall and an awful sound coming out of the vent in the bathroom. I was pretty sure I would end up getting bed bugs but luckily I did not. Will never, ever, ever stay at this hotel again.

Best Staff Services and hospitality. The staff went out of their way to make my stay comfortable and enjoyable. The hotel was in a safe area and location. Close to freeway without a lot of traffic noise.

Negative: The hotel overbooked and caused very long delays upon check in, turning away some guests who had already paid and had reservation codes. Even though I was successful, it took over an hour.

Room smelt like pee and floors were way over due for a cleaning. Someone left a bag around the smoke detector. Let’s put it this way my time in California was extended and I switched hotels. Beds were awful rooms were not clean at all. Staff was ok. The people staying there weren’t all there and probably are drug users.

I had a complaint regarding the shower and the smoke alarm and it was handled the same day. The service is excellent.

Minimal amenities, was clean, but hotel is dark with low lighting in hallways and rooms. No provided breakfast, just coffee and granola bars. Must check out by 11am, cannot get later check out, 2 knocks on door ro remind us to get out by 11am. Bed was comfortable and shower water pressure good but drain was slow.

Clean comfortable place to stay. Dog friendly plenty of parking rooms were comfortable automated that could have been a little bit nicer

No hair dryer in room all flouresent lighting.when returned back to hotel from a wedding, three employees were taking their cigarette break at the front door.Coffee in morning offered only flavored coffee mate for cream. If it was totally inexpensive I would say you get what you pay for, but it was over $240 a night. Only one night thank goodness

They were so cool and went above the norm to make my stay good. There was an issue with the South location being overbooked so they comped my room at Extended Stay North. It was very kind of them and they even gave me a later check out • 11/10 experience

My review wasnt for my stay. It was for the fantastic young lady corine who answered the phone at night. I was a worried wife who hadnt heard from her sick husband since he had left from sac. I called and called with no answer a few times. I was getting more worried and more concerned. I called the front desk with thinking i was gonna have to take a drive to Santa Rosa. But she answered. She was kind, calm, helpful and made my night. She went way over and beyond what she had to do. She not only went to the door and knocked a few times with no answer. She went back down stairs and called me back like she promised. She let me call her back on the cordless phone and she went back up and knocked even harder on the door. Until he finally answered and he wasnt very happy or nice. But the wife was relieved and was able to rest assured that he was just sleeping. Thank you so much. You are an amazing women. I will make sure every time he has work in Santa Rosa i will make his reservations with The Extended Stay. Hopefully i will get to thank you in person 1 day. Corine you deserve the 5 star. Thank you again so very much.

(I dropped an ice cube under the toe kick in the kitchen, went searching for it...found the ice cube but not a speck of dust.)The lobby is small but adequate, and the exterior is landscaped beautifully, with lots of trees, shade, grassy areas.The manager and staff were warm and welcoming, happy to answer questions and make sure we had everything we needed.Ill definitely stay at this hotel again.

This hotel is so expensive and overpriced! The management is extremely rude and try to tell you who you can and cannot have for visitors. Maintenance guy is nosey and unfriendly. The rooms dont get cleaned regularly and they rarely have clean towels. With the amount of money they cost the service they provide is shotty at best. Staff are not friendly and seem frazzled.

We made our reservation through Orbitz, which was easy. When we got there, we could not change anything about our reservation. There was a kitchen in the the room and it was not stocked, completely bare. We asked about this and were told we have to specify that we wanted dishes, etc. when we made the reservation. There was no place to do this on the Orbitz site. We also were told by the night person that we could order it in the morning. We went down to the from desk the next day and we waited while the person at the desk threw together all the equipment for the kitchen. Then we were expected to bring that to the room ourselves! We could not do that because we both have bad backs. Her response was Oh, you want ME to bring it up? There was no dish soap, paper towels, or anything to clean the dishes with. Also, the remote control didnt work properly, but they did replace that the next day. Carpet was filthy. I would not stay here again.
