Really enjoying my stay here. Pool / Hot tub are great. The deck to the ocean allows super easy access to a lot of tours. Rooms are clean and large. Free WiFi. Staff at the pool have been super friendly as well.

Very nice resort. Was perfect for a large group (25+) to all be close together. Pretty nice pool, nice dock that we could swim and fish off of and good access to the beach. Not the nicest beach are but very similar to the rest on that side of the island. Had a sister resort next door with a nice restaurant and a great pool with a castle in the middle for kids to play on. Would definitely recommend.

Staff is great all around. Very fast, friendly and accommodating. Original room was 3D. An ocean view upper level suite. Everything seemed very run down. AC weak, bed small, sheets thin.After one night we needed a change. Front desk found us a pool view upper level suite, 7B. Everything was a bit updated. King bed too! They added a large standing fan. It was a downgrade, but definitely an upgrade in my opinion. Walls are thin, but AC and fan created white noise, so not a problem.The pool is great, the Dive shop on the dock was helpful. Used kayaks the snorkel near the reef. Snorkeling was fun. Saw many fish and an eagle ray.Love the location north of town. Make sure you rent a golf cart though. It is fun to explore the island on your own.An added bonus is that the resirt has people at BZE Airport and Maya Air terminal in San Pedro to make sure you are taken care of. They were able to quickly get us on an earlier flight to San Pedro that saved us 2 hours.No regrets staying here and would do it again. Just make sure you ask about your options if a room isnt what you like.

Amenities are all well maintained. The unit was very comfortable and relaxing. We had beach front so great views. Staff was very friendly and just made our stay wonderful. Fish Tacos were my fav.

A great resort for the price. If you really want to do it right, plan your visit in the slow season. You will literally have the place to yourself. Can anyone say private pool?!

Armando and Chris at the pool bar were so friendly! Armando kept us in alcoholic bliss and boy can he dance! Best bartender in the Caribbean! We love this beautiful low key resort. The free amenities (kayaks, paddle boards), huge rooms, friendly staff, and walking distance to so many great restaurants. Warm waters off the small Pier, and lying in the hammocks under the newly built shady pavilion. Avoid the tourists and crowds and feel like a welcome visitor to Belize at the Belizian Shores.

Beautiful property well groomed! Older facilities not up to modern standards: I.e.- some faucets corroded to point of not moving and water flow restricted in shower and sinks! Very friendly staff, prompt service! Good restaurants nearby but must rent a golf cart !

The property was more than expected. Tennis court, amazing hot tub and pool, espresso, great eats across the street: Enells is the BEST!! there are 4 restaurants in the area.. check name in the menu b/c they all seem like they are together, but they are NOT. Ask for Big Mac. And ask for curry or red snapper.. they are not on menu.Trust the office to get you a great tour. Went to blue hole at last minute when all tours were booked. BS found us a tour for 3 people! Fabulous! Thanks to Roberty and the other amazing staff! Dont forget to ask about water taxi... easy access for $5 US to San Pedro.

Our vacation was wonderful. The resort made us feel like royalty! The view is incredible! They have a beautiful pool and the dock access to the ocean has hammocks where you can sit in the breeze. The restaurants across the street have delicious food and many other delicious restaurants and the Secret Beach are a short golf cart ride away. Be aware that the surrounding area is still recovering from hurricane damage and that all the resort beaches (except Secret Beach) have seaweed that make the docks necessary to access the water.

The place was excellent, clean ,friendly staff everything was well maintained. The only thing I did not like was there really was no beach. It was full of seaweed which they cleaned but very rocky.

We really enjoyed this property. Small, ten buildings with 4 units in each. Excellent pool. Many times we had the pool to ourselves or the busiest was 4 other couples. Excellent service. Very friendly. Well worth the money. This is the last property before the road gets worse. Only 3 miles or so to town so definitely not too far. Other properties we looked at were 10 miles away and we are so glad we did not book that far out. Definitely would go back.

Great slice of heaven. It is centrally located between town and Secret Beach. It is surrounded by places to eat and places to go for Entertainment. Everyplace has a great view of the ocean/reef. The pool, hottub and swim up bar are are great. At the end of the day it is Just right. If you dont believe me ask Dr Mucker.

The staff were friendly and efficient. The grounds were beautiful. Loved the pool and swim up bar. The restaurants across the street were well priced and the food was very good. The accommodations were very clean and provided everything that we needed. Very happy with our stay and will definitely stay there again!

Belizean Shores did not disappoint. The location was perfect— close to town but out of all of the “hustle”. The staff were extremely kind, professional, and helpful. The unit itself was very clean and suited our needs well with the kitchen included. There are great dinner options right across the lane (including the Tipsy Lobster and D’Local Taste). There was a small grocery store a short walk down the lane where we bought things to stock our kitchen (highly recommend the smoked bacon). Tuff E Nuff tours as well as the regional water taxi dock right off the shoreline in front of belizean shores, making excursions very convenient and more affordable. They had golf cart rentals onsite which allowed us to go to the Secret Beach for the day. This place is very family friendly with a beautiful pool, basketball half court, tennis court, and ping pong tables outside. I cannot recommend this place enough. We had an amazing stay. When we come back to Ambergris Caye in the future, we know where we will be staying.

The staff was absolutely amazing. Went way beyond what was expected! Extremely resourceful and helpful. Friendly and courteous.

Firstly, this property is absolutely gorgeous. My Unit was beautiful and the setting was great as well.Now the bad part...my wi-fi cut out 10pm on the first night. And since it was connected to the phone, I had to get dressed and walk to the front desk to get assistance. Someone came in a few minutes. The next morning, same thing, but this time it took 2 hours for someone to come. Luckily, I asked what to do if it happened again and the tech showed me. It cut out two more times but I was able to fix it myself. My second night, there was just a trickle of hot water from the shower. I took a cold shower and decided to try in the morning. In the morning, same thing. But since I was rushed to leave, I took another cold shower. I Left comments upon checking-out. This hotel is 3 miles from town. There is a water taxi which costs $5 but it stops at 8:30pm. To get back from town, the cost is $25(US) one way. Just ridiculous. I left the resort and stayed at a cheaper place in town for 1/3 the price. WiFi was great, Shower pressure too.

Friendly, clean, has running water and toilets that can flush toilet paper. Wi-Fi is available but internet is iffy. Nice pool with a swim up bar. Not too crowded. Each suite has a kitchenette, air conditioning, and a balcony that can hold a lot of people. There are several really good restaurants nearby at a variety of budgets. The ocean breeze keeps the bugs away. Its a nice distance from town and secret beach.

After a few hiccups regarding rooms available on orbits and upgrade price it appeared every thing to work out prior to our arrival.With no guarantee the hotel told us we could check in early if room was available . We got there very early and indeed they let us check in. Its not easy ragging luggage through the sandy property from parking lot to ocean front but staff does offer their help. Its also quite a haul from golf cart lot to room. Again not complaining just pointing out the worst. The best...The nice young man with blue eyes in the office. Super wow when he remembered I wanted to see alligators and had a personal experience he excitedly told me about a few days later. Really made it feel personal. The beach, while not as pristine as you may desire, no fault of resort, they do a better than normal keeping it stink free. If you walk up the beach you will appreciate the beach in front of it. The location. You definitely want a golf cart to experience San Pedro and the northern island, secret beach etc. So with that said this place is basically close enough to the secluded areas in the north and close to the shops and food in San Pedro. We wound up going to SP once a day. And the bridge tended to accept the same ticket day after day. But if you go to much farther north you are way more limited food etc, too far south I personally would not feel entirely safe as I did here. A location just south also fine but I recommend these two just for location not knowing C.M.s

The pool and hot tub was so nice. The swim up bar was amazing and the bartender Johnathan was awesome. Grounds a beautiful and everyone was very accommodating. Definitely will come back.

The place was really nice. Great resort and really nice and helpful staff that went above and beyond to help make our stay wonderful. They helped us book tours, a massage and even dinner reservations at restaurants in town. My only complaint is that the wifi was REALLY bad. In our room, which is supposed to have free wifi, I could not load anything. Other than that, a great place to stay!!!

Hotel parfaitement situé avec employés dévoués et amicaux. Nous étions toutefois déçus de la grande quantité dalgues sur la plage rendant la baignade dans la mer impossible à partir de notre hôtel. Le matelas creusait également. Super expérience en général !

Nice rooms, ours was a loft, what a great idea. Beautiful view of the Carribean. No sidewalks on premises just sand very Nice! Pool bar great drinks had a special Belizean drink made for us..good thing we werent driving. Hotel is not near the action but it is easy enough to get to. Wonderful resort for relaxation. The Best customer service I ever had and at my age that is saying alot.

Hotel excelente aunque alejado de todo. La playa es de algas aunque las algas son sinónimo de vida. Todas las habitaciones son iguales, tan sólo varían las vistas. Más que una habitación es un apartamento. La cama es comodisima. La piscina es un lujazo. El personal es encantador. Las habitaciones están muy limpias, aunque el personal a veces puede ser un poco despistado y día si día no se olvidan de reponer algo, pero una vez lo solicitas lo reponen con una sonrisa en la cara.El único punto negativo es la distancia al pueblo, la cual hace que sea necesario utilizar un bote taxi cada vez que se quiera ir (5 USD por persona y trayecto). La.otra opción es alquilar un carrito de golf, pero los turistas han de pagar 5 USD por cruzarlo y para ir al pueblo hay que cruzarlo obligatoriamente. Lo bueno es que el hotel ofrece de manera gratuita un transfer tanto a la llegada como a la vuelta, ya sea al embarcadero o al aeropuerto local. Una vez vistos los precios de la mayoría de restaurantes, que la habitación tenga cocina es un lujo. Resumiendo: hotel excelente aunque lejos de San Pedro.

Wonderful wedding week with family from 2/1/19 to 2/10/19! Beautiful location with great amenities for our very active family. Or wedding coordinator Esmy was beyond fantastic and all the staff were helpful, kind, and responsive! Couldnt have asked for more and helped make our week wonderful.

2018 Vacation was good here.

We had an awesome week in Belize...our first time here. We found it very easy to get around. The locals were very friendly and we never felt hassled by merchants. Pricing was fair and no crazy barteringood needed. Belizean Shores was the perfect size resort in a quiet location, yet close to a choice of restaurants. We could jump on a water taxi or bike into town. The pool setup was on of the best weve seen and the staff kept it in perfect condition. My brother loved the pool bar staff! This place is top on our list.

Great staff, but no useable beach. No activities and restaurant a bit pricey. I’d stay again but only a few days instead of a week. Resort is not bad; the island just lacks things to do.

We celebrated our honeymoon here and loved it. It was a smaller resort and we the quiet, peaceful atmosphere was wonderful. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Wir waren mit Belizean Shores Resort mehr als zufrieden! Es ist ein schönes Hotel mit einer super gepflegten, liebevoll gestalteten Anlage. Der Pool ist wunderschön und an der Poolbar bekommt man die besten Cocktails, die zur Happy Hour auch sehr gute Preise haben.Die Zimmer sind super ausgestattet mit einer vollwertigen Küche und schönen Balkonen.Ich empfehle ein Zimmer im Oberen Stockwerk zu mieten, da man dort zum einen einen schöneren Blick hat und zum anderen, weil die Leute die ihr Zimmer oben haben, ihre Treppe nur über die untere Terasse erreichen können. Somit ist man nie so ganz für sich, wenn man eines der unteren Zimmer hat.Es kommt jeden Tag ein Zimmermädchen, das putzt und täglich frische Handtücher bringt.Alles in allem einfach super!

Los apartamentos son muy completos y limpios. Tuvimos problemas con el hinosoro aue tenia fuga y la ducha no salia a presion lo cual no solucionaron durante mi estancia por lo demas todo bien

We just got home from a 6 day vacation with our 2 teenage sons. We had fun kayaking to the reef to snorkel, renting bikes, cave tubing and enjoying the pool. We felt safe letting them wonder on their own. Staff was super and the room was spacious. Way cheaper and less uppity than sister hotel Coco Beach. There is no such thing as a true beach anywhere on the island so dont let that review be a deterrent. All restaurants on the island are pricey as well as the grocery stores.

Todo su personal fue siempre muy amable, hablan españolmuy bien, habitaciones amplias con todas las comodidades, un poco lejos de san pedro pero el hotel ayuda a conseguir transporte, uno no debe preocuparsepor nada por que ellos organizan todo, hicimos un tour a snorkelear fue increíble. En general es un excelente hotel a pesar que son instalaciones un poco viejas es muy comodo y se la puede pasar muy bien

We loved our stay at BZ Shores. We stayed for 7 days and were happily surprised to see how spacious our room was with a full kitchen, living and dining room and the most powerful A/C unit Ive ever used. We loved our stay.

The only drawback was spotty wifi, the resort staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. I highly recommend doing any of your tours through Tuff E Nuff to explore the country.

Etwas außerhalb gelegen, dafür hat man aber seine Ruhe. Mit dem angebotenen Wassertaxi ist man schnell in San Pedro sei es zum ausgehen oder einkaufen. Und es macht Spaß mit dem Boot unterwegs zu sein!Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und erfüllt alle Wünsche.

Très bien. Hyper propre. Cuisinette super bien équipés, personel tres gentil. Seul bémol, le rapport qualité prix des repas du resto de lhôtel.

Beautiful place. Nice apartments rented out to tourists as a hotel room. Second floor units are best. People are very friendly. Awesome pool and swim up bar. But .... beaches are overrun with seaweed to the point you dont want to go near them. Smell is awful. Happens every year but locals down play it. Other cayes near buy dont have this issue. Prices are high. Restaurant is aweful. Next caye over same things are cheaper. Locals work together to have consistent high prices for excursions but if you look hard enough there is a native willing to do it for much cheaper. Secret beach is best beach on bay side but its a desert underwater. Nothing to see. Prices for food are a bit crazy too.So while this place is everything it said it was its no 5 star destination.

El hotel está muy bien, el servicio es excelente, los cuartos tienen cocineta, lo cual lo hace muy cómodo , tiene buen gusto y son muy cómodos y amplios , la alberca está muy bien , lo único que les falta es tener mas variado su menú de servicio al cuarto .Tienen servicio de recolección al aeropuerto o puerto , y la atención es muy amable

Nice but not the best. The restaurant is mediocre. There are too many mosquitos...bring a lot of bug spray. The rooms are condos and nice but can get even more for your money. The staff attempts to be pleasant...but most of them seem preoccupied with other things on their mind. I would stay at the sister hotel cocoa beach; but even though the condo was nice not there again. I loved going into town- on the water taxis to San Pedro and Caye Caulkner. The beach at the hotel is filthy. I would never stay here again

This trip to Belize was a gift for my niece graduating from nursing school. Maybe the next trip there will be when my daughter graduates from high school in 2 years!!!.. fingers crossed?Belizean shores Resort was very relaxing & cosy, the people are very nice, very helpful & kind. The pool & hot tub is extremely relaxing. The rooms are spacious, the bed is comfy. The coconuts are fresh straight from the tree.We didnt want to leave! You better Belize it!.....I have never relaxed my mind, body & soul as much as I did when we were on San Pedro, in Ambergis Caye, Belize. We loved everything about San Pedro, Belize from the massages on the beach to snorkeling with Tuff-n-Nuff there @ Belizean shores Resort, Kayson is the guy to see to book a trip out on the boat. We had a blast swimming with the sharks & stingrays with Tigar, Lewis & Ashton. We went to the Mayan Ruins, ziplining & cavetubing with Damon. We ate the absolute best lobsters ever..The other food was delicious also. And we are from the seafood capital!.. (New Orleans) We even said there was nothing that we didnt like about our trip to Belize.I cant stop talking about Belize! I want to buy property there & go back as often as possible.I would love to live there if I could. Still considering it after my daughter graduates college in a few more years. I would go back in a heartbeat!.... no complaints ♡ it!!!

This was our second time staying here and it was just as amazing as was it was the last time. Great staff and grounds the pool bar is awesome.

Water is not really swimmable fronting the property but that is the case with all San Pedro properties on this side.

Quaint clean and friendly staff!

Our bartender/waiter dyron was the best we have experienced on the island so far. Very attentive and very friendly. Go visit him at the island tavern. Leave him agood tip he deserves it. His real dream is to be a chef here. Everyone has to start somewher. Kudos DYRON!!!!!
