Brings back memories from my childhood. Taste that takes you back in time.
I ordered the beef kare-kare. The meat is tender and the sauce taste just right for my palate but it only has few vegetables. They have prompt service from order taking, serving the food and water refill. The only problem I encountered was the space between tables and the aisles. They could probably allot more space.
I just ate at Mesa mega mall hoping I would have a special Filipino food experience. When I asked about their specialty I was offered liempo when I asked if they can recommend anything with soup like sinigang or bulalo the staff said its good for 4 persons. Then I asked are there any other specialty that she can recommend and she pointed at their lechon which is 5000 pesosper order. Is meat the specialty of Mesa? I was asking for the specialty and if meat is what they can offer then it wouldnt be worth it. I ordered liempo by the way because it was HIGHLY RECOMMENDED and since their sinigang is good for 4-5 people and it wasnt recommended well I settled for a dish that I wont recommend when you eat at mesa
Mesa is an award-winning modern Filipino restaurant. Their menu tries to put a modern twist to classic Filipino dishes. In my opinion however, the food is a bit of a hit-or-miss. I would not be too adventurous with their menu. Mesa is not to be avoided but hardly top of mind either if looking for great Filipino cuisine!
Good Filipino food. Wouldnt have eaten here because it seemed like a place your folks would like. Enjoyed it, anyway. Nothing special. Just good.
A unique dining experience for the family and friends. Price and the quality of the food, the texture, flavor, aroma, presentation, freshness and overall appeal is a memorable experience for the 5 senses.
This one doesnt compare to the one in quezon city. The food is good but the service is...just...its hard to describe. It is comparable to most giligans and dencios where you can feel the servers hatred for the place theyre working in. Again, the food is good but not a lot of people will go back to the same place if the service is not that good. Try it out for yourself. As for me, not going back to their megamall branch. I just saw mikey bustos parody of shape of you and they shot it at mesa filipino morderne in quezon city I believe. I first thought that it couldve been a different mesa. But lo and behold, it is the same but just a different branch. The decor is waaaay different. The one in qc, basing it on mikey bustos video, is very classy. The one in megamall is also comparable to dencios or giligans. Perhaps, just a half a notch above those two. Again, this is my experience. Im just sharing. Feel free to still give it a try to either agree or disagree with me.
Very good and delicious filipino food and affordable price
Fancy plating of local dishes.
Dont forget to order Baked Scallops and Baby Squids in olive oil!
