Brotzeit is bread time. Our german friend said that the food is authentic. What a great experience!I personally love the medallion especially the fries, its sooo good. The porkchop is big and heavy. The asparagus wrapped in bacon as sides is . But our favorite are the sausages, sooo juicy!Its very rare to have a German resto in the city and its a must try. If you’re looking for a nice European restaurant to chill out, have a nice German bear and watch some sports show you’ve found the perfect spot.Located in Edsa Shangri-La area, Brotzeit is must-go-to place on your list while in Manila.They have quite a large menu which offer a long list of appetizers, soups, salads and main courses.We, a group of four, ordered some spinach fladen, ham and cheese platter, and pork curry sausage plus the beer for appetizer and veal goulash as the main dish. The quality and the taste were excellent but larger portions would have make that more pleasant.The ambiance is spacious, quite and well decorated. The price is however, more experience than what you’d expect, say one thousand five hundred pesos for each person. The good part was that we could get a ten percent discount as a resident of Edsa Shangri-La area.In the end I shall reiterate that Brotzeit is a restaurant one should never miss.

As a German, I enjoyed the food there a lot, maybe not as original as the real German food, though, very enjoyable! Definitely can recommend it to everyone who wants to enjoy German food out of Germany.

Brotzeit Shangri-La EDSA is great. The food, service and setting is great. The staff are wonderful . I go there 2x a week before the pandemic.

At first Im a bit afraid coz of the pandemic thingy and its a bit crowded kasi, pero they hev general precautions Naman, and the food was great and so is the wine. So planning to go der again very soon..

Celebrate Oktoberfest at Brotzeit. Located at the outdoor dinning area ground floor of Edsa Shang Plaza.We got the beer keg that serves 3 liters. No need for ice as the beer is chilled and tastes better on its own.Entertainment was provided by a German band Anton that kept the entire place cheering, clapping and singing the entire evening. Prost !!!

The ambience and service is good. The food mostly german or european fare. We got the platter with different sausages, bbq spare ribs, and crispy pata German style, Shrimp thermidor, and their version of pork fillet mignon.As for my pinoy palate it was hearty and filling but i am used to well seasoned food. They provide you with different sauces to dip in your meats. The spareribs were excellent. The crispy pata is nice but not as seasoned as pinoys are used to. So it was bland to me. The shrimp thermidor is something i would cook at home. The sausages are of course awesome as expected! The pork medallions are very lean and very good for health conscious eaters since it has a generous serving of mixed veggies. but i do like my pork to have some fat. Hehehe

Love that they play sporting events here. Watched the Rugby World Cup. Great sausages!

Changing my review... First experience I got no service.But I had a second goal and now became routine Sometimes the beer temp. is not good but usually is good. The food is super.

No option for vegans.. just potato wedges.Over service.. they keep coming by asking you to try this and that.. they should just leave the guests to enjoy on their own

As a former expat originated from Europe, this restaurant reminded me on the meals I had missed so bad :)

They replaced the chicken sausage with pork. The quality and taste?- double thumbs down, its bland and there are lots chunky fats, mind and bones there. They did not grind it properly.

Now I normally love Brotzeit but the service here is terrible. I have at times sat outside trying to attract the attention of a service person, only to leave as it was taking too long. I dont give my money to badly run business

Way over priced for what they offer. No bread as we been there which should be the main thing according to the name. Beer was good, food was only okay and toooo pricey. Staff was very friendly though. We would not come back.

I hate this place, because they definitely hate people who live nearby. Sleepless night due to a concert.

I was there last night, really disappointed I was there for 15 minutes, trying to make an order, but People pretend they didnt see me! I called the waiter 2 times to ask if he could take an order he said it was not his table tHat he would call our waiter.... It was not so full so I really didnt understand... After 15 minutes trying me and my bf gave up, really sad, cause I was looking forward to eat in this place!

We have been in Brotzeit several times already and it is always a good experience.Recently we had their asparagus offerings and as a German I can say it was a fantastic meal. The asparagus was very tender and the steak almost on the point.However, the interior could be a bit better maintained, particularly the menus and other display stuff.

Great for your sausage and beer fix.

Pricey but I like their flavored beers.
