I did the PADI referral program here to become scuba certified and my boyfriend joined me on my dives, and we both had a wonderful experience! the dive instructor, Bernie, and all of the dive masters were so cool, friendly, and funny and made the process very enjoyable. i highly recommend this place!

Been diving with this shop for 4 dive vacations now (2017-2019). Top notch shop. They seem to take good care of their rental equipment. I havent met a dive master or captain I havent liked. Marciano is a phenomenal boat driver, even in the rough weather (seems like he surfs the waves, making what could be a hard boat ride much more comfortable). Demas is a safe and fun dive master to have on the trips. Only thing that could have made this better was of Demas would have put on my sandals for me ;) Had a group of 8 of us this trip and they accommodated us quite well. Ill keep coming back.

Really enjoyed diving with these pros. I dont know that I believed everything they said, but they provided great entertainment while also being serious about safety. We did several days of diving with them, including the Great Blue Hole. Our divemaster kept a tablet and was very knowledgeable about all the different types of fish and reefs we were seeing and kept a good eye on us throughout. They took care of all the equipment (though you should always check your own equipment as well) and were willing to make adjustments, like giving my husband a larger tank when he was gulping air (hes a big guy). Theyre also very accustomed to ensuring youre out of the water long enough between dives and feeding and keeping everyone hydrated as well.

My wife and I wanted to snorkel one more time before we went home. We looked at reviews and decided Pro Diver center was a good choice. We were happy the group was small and the guides were very good at what they were doing. We covered a big area and saw a lot of great sites. Thanks Jesse and Freddie for a great trip. It was the high light of our trip. Well post pictures later.

Ive recently been to San Pedro for a dive trip. I did my first dive with another company and they treated us terribly. After that first bad experience we found Belize Pro Dive Center.This people are just amazing, the service and experience offered by the admin team in the office and by the dive masters (Marciano, Capt. Libra and Team) was unparallel.Please if you are going diving in Belize, contact Belize Pro Dive Center, you will not be disappointed.

Completed my open water dives with Arden and did one day of diving after that. He was awesome! This is a PADI shop, but I did the SDI courses and it was no problem. I get very motion sick and they always let me off the boat first and made me feel very comfortable. I heard horror stories about dive boat captains and this was not the case at all. Very good email communication and communication all around. My dad was already certified and was also able to go along on the same dives as me with the rest of the group. My only complaint came from my first dive after being certified. I came up at the same pace and time as what my buddies dive computer said because that is what I was taught and the dive master(short guy with long curly hair) kind of gave me heck for not breaking the surface at the same time as him. My buddy and I got to the surface literally 30 seconds after him and he did not like that. But all in all i couldn’t have asked for a better instructor to certify me and I will be back to this dive shop the next time I return to Belize!

Louis, Dimas, and Jonathan made our trip to the blue hole unforgettable. (Boat captain was great also) They made sure we had a great time, were terrific hosts, extremely knowledgeable about all things Belize/blue hole/ocean ecosystems, and were simply a pleasure to be around. I highly recommend Belize Pro Dive Center and would undoubtedly use them again if ever in San Pedro! Thanks fellas!

Great dive staff!

Hard to describe the experience we had with BPDC. From working with the team behind the counter to the dive masters we could not be any happier. Our group of 7 divers had the best Dive Masters. Asked where we wanted to go, asked how we were every few minutes on the boat, and did not allow us to do much of anything. Pedro had my son for OW and me for my AOW, so great with my 12yr old son. During the week our group also had Demis, Angel, Jason, and Louis as Dive Masters. All professional, all attentive, all great to our crew. Thanks, really hope to make it back in the future!!!!

Great dive shop! Dive masters are very professional and knowledgeable.

Dont be fooled by the positive reviews. We did a dive with them in March 2019. They never even checked to see if we were certified as scuba divers!! The dive Master did not know what he was doing. He couldnt get our weights balanced and he tried to blame it on us. We actually ended the dive early because it was not worth our time to battle the current when our weights were so off. This is a large company and when we mentioned that we had booked with them, the locals made it clear that we had made a bad decision. Luckily we had 3 other companies that we had also booked dives with. The other companies were great!!! Amigos Del Mar was the best!!

I had a wonderful time getting my AOW and Nitrox with these fine gentlemen!! They were all proficient, polite, and timely. I thoroughly enjoyed my dive master Bernie. He was even keel and never made me feel inept, with just the right amount of go, youve got this. I especially enjoyed the speed and space on the boats and waterUbers as well! Highly recommend.

We did two snorkeling excursions with Pro Dive Center. The first was Hol Chan + Shark Ray Alley where we had Arnold as our guide. He was great, super knowledgeable, constantly pointing things out, and even took my gopro and got a couple really cool videos while free diving. We then did Mexico Rocks and went with Renee (he was on our first tour too but was not our guide). He had a slightly different style, but was still really knowledgeable, but we got to do more swimming around at Mexico rocks as it is more open and we only saw one group the whole time. We got too see a Manatee which they told us was quite rare. Renee was actually pretty excited about it too. Because we were the only ones, it ended up being a private tour, but Pro DIve center still took us out. They also picked us up, and dropped us off at the dock closest to where we stayed. And they burnt in our masks as they were new, which I had no idea was a thing + used algae as an anti fogging agent. We didnt dive, but were on a boat with some divers, and they seemed really organized and professional.

My friend and I decided to check in last minute to see if they had any availability for a snorkel/shark swimming session. Not only did they make it happen for us, they were all so friendly and upbeat every step of the way. We really appreciate you guys and want to thank you for not only accommodating us but for being an all around a great business.

A buddy and I did 3 days of diving here including our advanced certification and nitrox certification. Our instructor was really good and made sure we had fun yet learned what we where suppose to at the same time. All our dive masters were great and told us what to look forward to at each dive spot. We even helped them in spotting lion fish and got to see some spear fishing in action. Additionally we booked a lobster hunt + fishing tour with them. Our guides went above and beyond when our time was up we didnt really catch too much so they decided to move to a different spot and we pretty much caught 6 lobsters in the last 30 minutes. Highly recommend this dive shop.

Just finished a week of diving with these guys and had a wonderful experience. We did 3 two-tank dives and 2 three-tank dives over the course of 6 days. My wife and I had just finished our certifications a couple months beforehand in the States and came to San Pedro with a few other diving couples for our first “real” dives. The crew were patient and helpful and really professional the entire time. My wife lost her mask on the very first dive on the first day while entering the water and it sunk down 30ft to the bottom and those guys dove right down to the bottom, grabbed her mask and had it back to her on the surface in no time, and they didn’t give her a hard time about it, they just realized we were the “newbie” divers and did everything they could to make sure we had a great first diving experience... which we did for sure. Our main dive masters were Marciano, Dimas, Luis, Will and a few others but they were all great. We took our 3 tank dives out to Half Moon caye and Turneffe which required us to drive outside the protection of the reefs in the open water, but Marciano did an excellent job navigating us through some fairly large ocean swells with minimal seasickness and bumpy riding. The owners wife made us some lunches that we took for our 3 tank dives and we ate it on the go and it was delicious. Had a great week with the guys and will be coming back again in the future.

Incredible experiences with Belize Pro Dive. We went to Esmerelda, Tuffy, Happy Hour and Mermaids Lair... Each unique and beautiful. Dive Master Brandon and ships Captain Louis were the absolute best.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our snorkel tour of Hol Chan and Shark Ray Alley. We found the dive center to be well-run and our guide, Gilbert, was great at his job. My wife is not a strong swimmer and Gilbert was thankfully able to accommodate her easily. We still had a great time-- a sea turtle popped up next to my wife and tried to make friends. We saw dolphins, sharks, rays, snapper, an eel, angelfish, parrotfish, and a huge amount of coral. There are several dive tours in San Pedro, but I think this one really stands out.

The dive shop ruined the Blue Hole trip for my wife and I. Small boat, inept handling of logistics and rudeness of the crew made it a frustrating experience. There were a few other lapses over the course of my 4 days of diving with them that added up to me stopping my diving with the shop.The shop uses archaic payment processing methods. They ask you for a credit card information in to be sent to them in an unsecured email. Or else you can call it in. As I found out, they write down all of your credit card info in a ledger. If someone breaks into that dive shop, all your credit card info would be stolen. Something to be aware of.Their Hol Chan and Shark Ray Alley excursion (dive and Hol Chan, snorkeling at Shark Ray Alley) was a so-so experience for me. Dive master didnt warn we were at 4-foot depth for backward entry. I was OK but one other diver hit his head on the bottom because it was so shallow. The viz was dismal and current crazy strong. The dive seemed shorter than it could be. I had way over 1000PSI left when we came out. The snorkeling at Shark Ray Alley was horrible. First they told us we would stay around the boat and sharks and stingrays would be attracted by the boat sound. In reality, after we jumped in the water, the dive master started telling everyone to buddy up and swimp up to another boat that some other company owned. Normally you buddy up before jumping in the water, but OK, whatever. Swam up to the other boat. That boat was chumming the water with some bait in PVC tubes. There were a few nurse sharks and stingrays that showed up. The space around the boat was totally overcrowded with people from two different boats and it was hard to take pictures or even look. The entire feeding session lasted like 10 minutes and our snorkel master tells us we are done, get back to the boat. Overall it was a waste of time. Very poorly done. Also, the boat was so overcrowded they didnt even have a camera tank.Next day was trip to Turneffe started bad. They forgot to pick up my wife and I. I ended up waiting on the pier for almost half hour, texting and then calling the shop for the boat to come back. The boat was smallish. They insist that people sit in the back of the boat, in the sun (I believe to make it easier for them to drive it). While it could be fun for a bit, after a 4 hour round-trip my scalp was totally burnt. It was painful to comb my hair the next day. Also they never explained passengers (many of whom were very inexperienced) how to use the head on the boat, so you would go to use the unflushed toilet, etc. I mentioned that to the captain but that got ignored. Also they made us take of our shoes and leave them at the shop as the shoes are not allowed on the boat. I wasnt a problem that day but unfortunately was a major issue for us the next day. The prep for the dives was rushed because you are not allowed to get up or walk around the boat while the boat is moving, and you need to get into the water as soon as the boat is stopped. They did have a bucket for my camera that kind of worked, but no real space to set it up or even change the batteries. If you are a photographer, look elsewhere.There were many inexperienced divers on our Blue Hole dive. They kept pushing passed me instead of following in a line. A couple went above me and I got kicked in the face with a fin at 140ft. Not super safe. I understand its the shops money maker, but many people werent even PADI Advanced ceritified. They were certified just to 60ft. Taking them down to 130-140ft is dangerous and irresponsible.

We just had a 3-day 2-tank experience at this place- it’s one of the best we have been to. I have 100+ dives under my belt so I’ve been to more than a few outfitters (no gloating, just giving perspective). They promptly pick you up at the dock nearest to you (free) and take you to the shop and back at the end of the day. They fit you with whatever gear you need and give you a refresher on setting up your BCD and tank and load everything onto and off the boat for you. The equipment was in good condition. The boats are newer, clean, and the captains are on their game. We had rough waters past the reef and the captains were masters at navigating the size able waves, the dive masters were also great choosing the sites so as to minimize repeating sites and minimize exposure to rough waters. All dive masters were excellent, some (Dimas) were real gems. They were very much in tune with issues we had and were extremely accommodating. Absolutely would use these guys again next time I come.

We did 2 snorkel trips with these guys: one to Hol Chan/Shark Ray Alley and another to Mexico Rocks. Both were wonderful! The guides were great and knew their stuff. We learned a lot and got to experience so much marine life at the reserve. The guides made sure everyone had a chance to see each creature before moving on. They also picked us up at the closest pier to where we were staying which was very nice.

Es war genial.Wir (Familie mit 14 jährigem Sohn) waren letzten Sommer 2 Wochen in einem Appartment vor der Tauchschule und waren fast jeden Tag tauchen.Getaucht wurde von etwa von 8m im Naturschutzgebiet Hol Chan bis etwa 34m, aber immer im Wohlfühlbereich. Die Tauchbegleiter waren immer ruhig,aufmerksam und haben viel Ahnung von der Unterwasserwelt und erklären dies auch gern.Safety Checks werden immer gemacht. Ein besonderes Dankeschön an Hardon und Demas. Es wird in der Regel durch Canyons, ab und zu kleine Tunnels getaucht. Unser erster Nachttauchgang war spannend. Da wir relativ lange dort waren wurde auch überlegt, was wir noch nicht gesehen hatten. So durften wir einmal auf die Suche nach einer Statue gehen. Unser guter Hardon hat sie auch gefunden. Wir haben unser eigenes Equipement, aber die Sachen dort sahen sehr gut und intakt aus.Da wir in der Nebensaison unterwegs waren gab es immer kleine Gruppen ( max. 5 Taucher plus einen Guide). Auch die Captains und der Chef waren sehr nett . Normalerweise kommt man zwischen 1. und 2. Tauchgang an die Tauchschule zurück und kann dort Obst und Kekse und Getränke zu sich nehmen. Den Seegang fand ich anfangs relativ hoch .Da hieß es, Rückwärtsrolle, ok Zeichen und gleich abtauchen... und dann unten auf alle warten. Beim Einsteigen ins Boot wird geholfen. Wir haben von Riffhaien, Limonenhai, unzähligen Ammenhaien, Muränen in voller Größe, Stechrochen, Schildkröten( sogar eine Lederschildkröte aus der Ferne), riesigen Zackenbarschen, Krebsen und Kleingetier,... wunderschöne Korallen gesehen. Viel Spaß beim Abtauchen!

One of the best run dive shops Ive been to anywhere in the world. Prices are good and the staff experience is second to none. We did 7 dives over 3 days: 3x 2 local dives and one night dive (make sure to do a night dive!).Hopefully you will get Brandon or Dimas as your divemaster; they are probably the two best DMs I have had anywhere, both using a slate to tell you what something is while you are looking at it.

Each time I visit San Pedro, this is the five shop I use. They are very friendly and a lot of fun. You will not meet a nicer group of individuals . They are especially special to me because when my kayak flipped over out in the middle of the ocean and I lost a bag that had my personal belongings inside it, a couple of the guys were kind enough to go out and locate my bag. I tried to pay them but they refused. These people really care about their customers. You will have a blast with them. I highly recommend.

We did four 2 tank dives with Belize Pro Dive Centre. This place has the best scuba diving service. The dive masters and boat crew do everything for you. They make diving so easy. They even take your fins and BCD off for you in the water. No struggling to get out of the water!! Dive sites we went to where AMAMZING. Soooo many sharks so little time!!
