Food is excellent, and if you can manage to get a seat in person, the service is okay. When ordering take out however, anticipate waiting 20-40 minutes longer than the expected pickup time. Set the pickup times to be more reasonable if your kitchen cant keep up. I waited longer for my food after the expected pickup time than people who arrived afterwards.
The food is wonderful. Very tasty and the portions are good sizes.
My partner is allergic to shrimp and we found shrimp in our (shrimp-less) scramble and she had an allergic reaction. Service sucked for pick-up, they don’t care for COVID guidelines anymore, and pancakes were dry and rubbery.
There is always a wait for breakfast here. Also the noise level inside the restaurant is high. Parking is also an issue here; youll likely have to park across the street at Safeway. The Kentucky omelette had lots of cheese and the potatoes tasted great. Nutella banana crepe was awesome for those who like their breakfast extra sweet.
TERRIBLE service. Food was served cold. Since we ordered to go, we were told we werent a priority. OVERPRICED. $15 for 1 specialty flavor pancake is too much. However, all other meals seemed to be well portioned. The food itself was well cooked. Great flavor. I got the banana apriot french toast, which was delicious. My boo got a red velvet pancake, beautiful presentation. But wasnt sure on the taste after the reheat. Too bad I wont return in the foreseeable future.
Great portions stem from a menu with tremendous variety on the breakfast/brunch landscape. Service is quick and friendly- reminder that these waiters and waitresses have to bus large groups in addition to you, so they may seem to disappear in the commotion. The spot gets crowded quickly, come early to ensure minimal wait on weekends.
Food was really good. Other than the 1 hour wait time, only problem was the steak Benny. It was over cooked, we ordered med rare but got med well. The crab benny was the better of the two. Serving size were huge as you can see from the pictures. Kids loved their pancake, guess which one they ordered from the pic. Lastly get the country potato over the hash browns, you will thank me for that.
Was hungry and didn’t know where to go. I spited people sitting at tables outside and the sign “Breakfast Club” Even though there were about twenty-five people, I got my food ordered within five minutes and server in another ten to fifteen minutes. I ordered pork chops & eggs.Everything was fresh and delicious and portions were large! This is my go to place to eat from now on! Highly recommend it.Don S.
Came here for the first time in December 2019 during a trip to San Jose. We stumbled upon this place while searching for a breakfast spot. This turned up with great reviews, and pictures that intrigued me enough to stop by and check it out. And Im quite glad we did! Our server, whose name eludes me unfortunately, was the nicest person and of course made our experience that much better.I ordered the midtown scramble, and my boyfriend ordered one of the burgers. The wait didnt take long either which was nice, and the food was absolute perfection. Either that, or we were just famished. No, but truly, this place was great. His burger was hot and cooked just to his liking. My scrambled eggs were cooked just right, and cheesy the way I like it. I had a coffee and my boyfriend an iced tea. I had a piece of coffee cake as well, which was delicious, however, Hobees coffee cake still holds top spot in my heart, but Breakfast Clubs comes in at a close second. Their portion of cake is much more doable to finish in one sitting versus the giant piece Hobees dishes out so thats nice, but they dont slather on as much butter so it does start to taste dry on the palette. From the food, to the service, to the bright and open, spacious interior which was decorated in a colorful yet tasteful manner, how could you go wrong in having breakfast here? You cant. If youre in the area, absolutely check them out!
Decent breakfast restaurant. Very busy! Lots of people. They were able to accommodate our group of 7 with no reservation even during their busy brunch time. The serving sizes were good portions. I had a vegetarian omlet with country potatoes. I was the only one in my group able to finish their meal, and I was full the test of the day! Lol. Only 4 stars because it wasnt the best omlet Ive ever had. I would return for another, though. (If this review was helpful, please hit the like icon below.)
