Still by far one of the best Chinese restaurants ever. Great dimsum, hototay soup, hakaw and bday noodles. The King chef card gives such great value upgrading your order sizes too

Unique presentation of Chinese dishes

The suckling pig is divine as hell and all their dimsums are fantastic. The soups are great and their Yang chow is for me one of the spotlights

Portions are generous, personal favorites are Yang Chow Fried Rice, Hot Shrimp Salad, Bbq Asado, Beef Hofan, must try Buchi with salted egg.Customer service is okay, they are nice and friendly.Always a pleasure to dine here, or for take out orders. Lucky China Mall branch also yummy food.Highly recommended.

The menu was a bit pricey compared to Lam Tin. But the dining experience----the ambiance, the customer service---was topnotch. They have a wide parking space (we visited on a weekday though) and the waiting line is not that long compared to Lam Tin.

We went here election day, suspecting that there would be less people dining especially after 2pm which was the case. However it was downhill from there it took a long time to place an order the first thing we asked for was water because it was hot outside. Then we noticed that we were seated in an area that used to be doors so hot air was seeping in and it made the whole meal uncomfortable we teied to ask for a new table but the waiter said the other tables were reserved and there wasnt any available so no choice we were hungry. When our order was delivered we did not have any cutllery even chopsticks which we had to wait another 10mins to have a waiter to deliver cutleries while eating we noticed we still didnt have any water so we tried to call a waiter for the next 15mins each one of them telling us “wait lang po” but no one came back. I had to ask my son to go ask the guy in the pink longsleeves for water only then we got water. As we were about to go I asked for the bill and one of the waiters just dropped an our order of tokwat baboy and left without even saying a word. I had to raise my voice to call him back amd ask him to just cancel this dish from our bill since we were already done eating. We are regular customers of King Chef and we always love the food and the great service except on this day which just made an exhausting morning into a frustrating afternoon.

Always my favorite go to place .. just notice that the quality of the dimsum.. changes .. not the same as before :)

Bad service. Overpriced. My husband took our lunch in King Chef 3 days ago. We arrived before 12nn and there only few people eating in the resto. My husband ordered the Beijing chicken and I ordered the braised pork plus a dimsum. The waiter did not even bothered pouring the tea in the tea cup. The stadd were basically inattentive despite the very few customers. The dimsum arrived early and it taste good. The chicken that my husband ordered followed after sometime. Despite its name and price, it was just an ordinary fried chicken. My braised pork arrived so late. My husband was almost done eating when my food arrived. Despite the very long time it took them to serve it, it was just microwave-heated. It taste so ordinary. Bottom-line, the food might only be worth it if it is at a discount. And the Banawe crowd seem to know it.
