Offers the specialty silog dishes that made Rodics famous. As with the original branch in UP, they also offer a variety of non-silog dishes such as dinuguan, menudo, kare-kare, paksiw, etc. Well-cooked and delicious food. The place is clean and well maintained. Staff are helpful. Downside: inflexible set of orders. Each dish is automatically priced inclusive of rice. So if you like to have 2 dishes (say one with meat and one vegetable), you get two rice as well. I asked if i can just order an additional vegetable dish without additional rice and was told i woulf still have to pay the regular price for veggie.

Rodics has been around for a long time, although the original food outlet is at a different location (near Visayas Avenue). There is another one at the corner end of Maginhawa Street. This outlet I believe, is the only one that is airconditioned.

Fairly reasonable prices for delicious Filipino foods.

Yesterday weve ordered karekare and caldereta.. but unfortunately, were very disappointed with the taste of both.. not affordable.. because of the taste.. the place is small, crowded and hot, though it has 2 acu..

Great food at very affordable prices! Apart from its iconic tapsilog, try their other silogs and dishes, such as pork sinigang and caldereta. :)

My favorite carinderia. Ive been eating at Rodics since my college days. The tapsilog is a must. I love the caldereta and the menudo. One of a few carinderia that serves very good rice.

Simple but good flavors. This is an everyday fare cafeteria which became known for its shredded beef tapa. Its beef caldereta is also good. It offers the same dishes everyday--pork sinigang, paksiw na bangus, lechon paksiw, adobo..all are satisfying and comes with rice...filling meals at 100pesos.

Quick service and helpful crew.
