We got in here out of curiosity since every time we pass by the area, theres loads of customers dining here. Having it tried for the first time, I can say I was impressed. Weve tried several pares before and Cocoys Pares is remarkable for me. Ang sarap! But... after few bites of pares, I had this piece of meat that I can totally say isnt fresh. Lasang kahapon. Their sinangag is good. Beef mami is great. Sarap ng sabaw. Siomai is meaty pero sweet (not my thing). Overall, I think babalik naman kami. Worth your penny!

A pares and Mami place along Visayas Ave with quick service and long lines for lunch and dinner.Their pares (around 100 to 110 Php) here is different as the soup or sauce is of a much thinner consistency. I was surprised since I was used to the pares at Retiro. Nevertheless its quite good with nice flavor and tender meat (but does not have the anise flavor from other places). The garlic rice is served tastefully in the classic style of rice, garlic chips and green onions.The special Mami (Php 105) has beef pares and a piece of siomai. The noodles are al dente, but the soup was not as tasty as Id hoped as the broth is not mixed with a bit of pares sauce. Still, it was pretty good.Their chili garlic sauce is excellent!

Nice place to eat out with unli-rice and soup. Just watch the people drive-by or walk by. Nice for a lazy Saturday to shoot the breeze with a friend.

This is my favorite pares (and sisig) place. I prefer their pares more than Pares Retiros. Friendly enough and efficient staff. I want to comment about the cleanliness of their place but I think that adds to the whole experience.I recommend trying their sisig!

Bulalo is ok , Pares is not that good. Beef use to be tender now its mixed with hard beef meat...still good for quick meals and snacks
