Never have I ever been to a cocktail bar that had a build your own cocktail and this place did not disappoint with theirs. I recommend it! Go and do the BYO cocktail! You pick a glass style, flavor profile, alcohol and they do the rest, its awesome!
A friend picked out this bar after searching for a unique mixology in the city, and this place dis not disappoint!!!Drinks that are just as visually appealing as they are uniquely tasting! Each drink is an art and the mixologists put passion into every drink they put together. The mixologist that served us was also very outgoing and friendly, even had a story as he was presenti g each drink to us!!Beautiful decor and layout inside. Even though it was busy and packed, it didnt feel cluttered, we were still able to freely move around. Will definitely be back again!!!!
Do you remember that episode of Parks & Rec where they go out for bachelor parties and they go to that bar where Scotch is served via hand lotion and you literally inhale some drinks? Well I ran into all the males the cast while they were filming that episode and I gotta say theyre some of the nicest dudes Ive ever met. Oh yeah, The Sixth is kinda like that bar, but less of a joke and more serious bozzing. Banging cocktails and a bomb ass booze list.
A made a crystal clear ice Cube that was as tall as the Collins glass with a zinnia flower Frozen inside of it. The drink that encased said Ice Cube was delicious.
Rude bartender, maybe he thought it was a cool shtick but its not working. Cocktail ok but there are better bars around where the bartender isnt a tool. Would not return
Mixed drinks are very good but kinda pricey. It’s what you pay for
Went for the pop up.... Stella killed it! Will be back
They take cocktails to the next level. Very creative too!
Walked in for a cocktail on a Saturday night with six people. Half the tables were empty, HALF THE BAR WAS EMPTY, and we werent even allowed to grab a drink at the bar because of a fire hazard for standing room. There were thirteen reservations in front of us, WHICH IF YOU CALL THE NUMBER, THEY DO NOT ACCEPT RESERVATIONS. First come, first served means one thing. If I walk in, and there is a seat, I get a seat. And obliviously this isnt even a real bar because SRO is something that happens at bars. 1.5 hour wait for ONE DRINK. I cant wait to reserve 13 tables and not show up next weekend to waste their time. Please also do not patronize their sister bar/restaurant because thats where youre expected to be on a waitlist. WAITLISTS DONT EXIST WHEN ITS FIRST COME FIRST SERVED.
Great local cocktail bar. Dealers choice worked out every time
Great cocktails, friendly bartenders and staff, dark but inviting atmosphere.
Went for the Princess Bride popup and was honestly underwhelmed. It was quite a long wait for some fake foliage, cardboard cutouts, and a creepy mannequin.
Very Cool atmosphere, the decor is amazing. The drinks were fun and the bartender provided great service (and a show preparing some of the drinks) however the drinks were also extremely weak so probably wouldn’t go back for that reason.
Love the environment and energy. Amazing drinks !!
Hits and misses but mostly hits and more importantly excellent customer service. Minus 1 star because there seems to be a lot of turn over and because Im married to the best drink maker on the planet so Im a tough customer.
Very nice atmosphere and friendly servers. Great spot for a first date.
Couldnt get in. Looked cool
Great cocktails, amazing service. Decor has a great 80s Tokyo kind of vibe.
They have a variety of signature cocktails in a classy, laid back atmosphere. The libations and service were both amazing, but they oddly serve their drinks with cheap plastic straws which didnt fit the rest of the vibe.
Caroline is the best thing that happened to any Chicago bar. Best Old Fashion that I ever had.
Interesting cocktail ideas with kind of disappointing execution. Generally, the drinks are overly sweet, masking the interesting flavors of the components. The food was alright but a bit bland. Its a nice atmosphere and cool decor but ultimately didnt feel worth it to me.
Great drinks, original whiskey cocktails are great. They also make a divine pimms cup
Great service I recommend these please for sure
Great place to hang out with a friend and chat over a delicious cocktail! Creative menu and trendy atmosphere.
The show they put on is fairly entertaining
Glad to have such a nice place so close to my house. The cocktails are great and not super expensive and their whiskey list is extraordinary.
¡Great drinks!..
Place is great- one suggestion I do lighting for a living and the lights they chose are great but the recessed cans are too bright for the space - dim the down lights - raise the light fixtures up and it will be more moody and interesting..... Put dimmers on the bathroom lights
Chill, local bar...great ambiance.
Amazing, delicious, creative cocktails. Friendly and helpful bartenders and servers.
Really dope place! Great unique drinks!
We got pretty good service the first time we went, and the place was pretty empty. The second time, though, the place was semi full, and the bartender spent a lot of flirting with a lady at the bar instead of making drinks for us.
Pretty swank. Crazy drinks. Music can get loud later. Intimate setting.
Cool vibe, classy cocktails, but they don’t taste amazing compared to other $14 drinks in the city.
Great decor and friendly staff! I would definitely recommend you check this place out.
Ive been here probably a good four or five times. Its been fantastic every time. First, you walk in and its kind of a surprise that a place this nice looking, with such fancy seating and cool décor is in Ravenswood/Lincoln Square and not River North. That alone makes me love them. It is small and intimate too; which is great for those times where a divey bar isnt the scene youre looking for. The drinks are each a form of art. The ingredients, preparation, glassware...all of it is so well thought out. Those details matter. The food menu is pretty sparse. The first two times I was there, they had a Doner Kabob on the menu that I really enjoyed. Its no longer on the menu, but they still have the Frites with this incredible dipping aoli and yummy Bacon Truffles. All of which are delicious, but when youre actually hungry, you may need to head next door to Roots for some sustenance. Otherwise, enjoy a cocktail or four. I think youd be hard pressed to find a drink you dont like here. Service is also pretty cool in that they will go into great depth about how the drinks are made and the ideas behind them. Also note, that some drinks are seasonal and change often.
Nice and quite on a week night for post dinner drinks. Like the decor and good beers on tap.
An intimate place to get a craft cocktail.
Wonderful unique house drinks!
Was here over the weekend. The staff was aggressively rude to my friends and I. It was odd.
