World class sushi came as an utter shock. So I came to CH Distillery about 2 years ago and it was very good. I got drinks, and bar food. I came again recently and next thing I know there’s a sushi spot having some sort of partnership with the distillery and it was world class nigiri. I inquired about how it was possibly so good and apparently it’s a former nobu sushi chef gone rogue bringing the highest quality sushi with him. Couldn’t recommend this place more. Home distilled spirits with world class sushi in an unpretentious setting... amazing time and would recommend to friends and family.

Drinks are good but pricey. 18% tip is added to all bills which is fine for food but not on drinks. All liquor drinks are $12 but with tio and tax are almost $16. This place distills all of its own liquor so you pay a premium. The food experience was very poor and extremely expensive for tiny portions. The hush puppies were too dry and you only get 5 for $9; the tiny and poorly flavored mussels were also regrettable $17 why tip/tax for a snack; the poutine didnt taste like poutine.

Not safe. The owner hosted a super spreader event there tonight, and some maskless woman from his party threatened me.

The place is very hip, good music, good food and drinks. Nice place to have a date or a casual night out. Great service and good environment.

We came here for “Cocktails and Humor” night! The comedians were on point and did not disappoint! We were not fans of the distillery options.

Drinks were great, but service was amazing. The bartender (unfortunately can’t remember his name) let us try a bunch of the spirits and even gave us a flight on the house!

Really good food and drinks! I thought this was a nice idea to separate themselves from other places in the area with a themed drink menu!

When visiting IL, I knew I had to drop by a tiki bar which are all the rage right now. Ive seen numerous friends check-in here so I made it my target for my Sunday night.

Be careful while paying by card. These people add random tips to the total without letting you know.

If you like sweet drinks then I would suggest the Orient express. Sweet, creamy, and smooth with a very nice presentation. If you like something bitter then go for the cease and desist. You cant go wrong with either one. Other recommendations are the daiquiri and the potato pancakes. The price seems right for the quality drinks you get.

A beautiful modern space with some wicked delish drinks. I am not usually a fan of vodka and I told this to the bartender during my first visit. His response was to give me a taste of their ice cold vodka straight up. *shiver*. But, I am who I am- and that means Ive got to try anything that is put in front of me so I puffed out my chest and braved the cold (vodka, that is)! And you know what? It was DELICIOUS. So smooth and easy to drink, even on its own. Their cocktail list is studded with perfectly executed classic beverages along with many tea infused or peppercorn speckled options if you are looking for an interesting twist. Their cocktails and spirits are a must, however, I would not shy you away from checking out their food items either. Prepared in a cube like open air area right next to the bar, irresistible scents will be wafting your way as you enjoy your ice cold hand crafted beverages. Cheers!

So yes its kind of pricey. I wouldnt go here and order any of the snacks as their portion size seems to be more of a tasting than anything, but the food quality is good so I will give them a pass. We had for drinks while we were there.Gin and tonic, was quite tasty but not what I expected. The gin they use has a smoky quality that is pleasant, but I dont understand why they dont use their London dry gin in the drink and stay true to the classic cocktail. I cant complain too much because the drink was great though.The daiquiri was exceptional and would have Hemingway himself coming back for more.The cease and desist, was my absolute favorite drink and makes for an excellent reason to stop by this place on your way home from a dinner on Randolph street.The Orient express was also tasty and had a great presentation.

I enjoy every this place every time I visit. My go-to drink would definitely be the Cease and Desist. Appetizers her come at a pretty penny but are worth the price.This is a great place to go to if you want something different from your everyday bar.

Excellent service. Delicious cocktails. Almost everything is made in house, with the exception of the bitters. Pricing is great for what you get and they let you sample endlessly.

You get a little sample of a specialty drink just for sitting down during happy hour. The cocktails are awesome and I love the way the menu is organized. Highly recommend to anyone.

Amazing hand crafted cocktails with an even more amazing attentive staff. Executive Chef Pablo Madrigal puts out a spectacular menu of fresh appetizers and entrees to fit any palate. Highly recommend a visit.

Creative cocktails; especially loved the spicy and intriguing Doctors Orders. Had the whiskey duck tacos which were delicious, just wish they were bigger, lol. Fine dining for you. Perfect for a romantic night out. Service was excellent.
