Staff Mei See is very rude with a cant-be-bothered attitude. Forgets customers only request. Have to remind her 5 times to bring a new pair of chopsticks. Terrible. Worst waitress in Singapore. Very rude when we asked her about the signature dishes. Raised her voice at us and pointed rudely at the menu as if she was scolding us. If Mei See is unhappy about her job, please ask her to quit. Please dont let her vent her frustrations and anger at customers. Thats not right at all. She has totally no professionalism and has completely tarnished the reputation of the restaurant.

The olive rice and dishes ordered are good. Will always order the olive rice and signature chicken.
Expensive with terrible food that was oily and a salt bomb.
The chicken still maintain the standard, one of my favorite restaurant
服務 NOT BAD。 NOT TOO BAD ! 4 STARS
Our origins may be traced back to 1991 when our first outlet was established in Smith Street. Our founders, Mok Yip Peng, Wong Wei Teck, Wong Chi Keong and Ho Hong Chin observed a surge in the popularity of Herbal Soups in Hong Kong, with the emergence of restaurants specialising in Herbal Soups. Inspired by this development, our founders were of the view that there would be a demand in Singapore for Herbal Soups and home-cooked dishes, especially by young professionals with limited access to home-cooked food.In 1994, Mr Mok, drawing from his Cantonese upbringing in Chinatown, introduced a series of Cantonese based home-cooked dishes which we termed “Chinatown Heritage Cuisine”. Culled from Mr Mok’s family recipes and his Chinatown heritage, these dishes with their origins harking back to old Chinatown in the 1950s were designed to evoke a nostalgia for nutritious home-cooked food. The dishes were well-received, with our “Samsui Ginger Chicken” becoming an instant hit and has since become one of our signature dishes. In February 2001, to complement our “Chinatown Heritage Cuisine”, we introduced a series of home-cooked local dishes under “Kampong Kitchen”, was renamed as “Kampong Days” in April 2004 and later ceased operation in May 2005 as business was not profitable.
On 08 Jan around 08pm, staff take long time to take order. Very unusual. Reason given: Not enough manpower.
Food is nice, portion is small, Price is rather expensive. About $30+ per pax
Delish dinner with the signature chicken dish. Ginger is a MUST for the dish.
The service there was not fantastic good. Not that welcome manners.
I think the service level needs to improve.
Too damn expensive. Two pax set meal was originally 78 dollars. With other charges, came up to 96 dollars. Not worth it.
我会咂了你的招牌,你们这些人,服务态度不好,点餐等太久了,要等一个小时。
Poor service food serving not at good as before
Excellent food and service! Samsui chicken is a must try
