Picture perfect resort, amazing staff

Pros: Very good, very reasonably priced restaurant on property. Staff is all super friendly, cant say enough good things about them! Beach is well maintained every day. Shower has great water pressure with nice shower head. Walking distance to town. You can walk to restaurants and shopping. Cons:Room was on the small side and a bit dated. Strong musty smell, which i realize is very commonly in tropical climates, but this room was particularly musty. Pool is very small and all shaded. Dont expect to get a drink with an umbrella. Ive never been to a tropical resort that does not serve mixed drinks. Wine and beer only.

My husband and I had just gotten married in north Ambergris Caye and were meant to leave Dec 14, but decided to extend our stay and booked a last minute (morning of) ocean view room at Ramons Village. We checked in early, but the staff not only got our room ready for us early, but they upgraded us to the Honeymoon Cabana right on the beach! From the moment we stepped foot on the resort the staff was friendly, helpful, and extra accommodating, making us feel at home from the start. They made sure we had everything we needed and our extended honeymoon was a dream come true. The resort is STUNNING! The room, the pool, the restaurant, the beach, the grounds... I cant say enough. The dive/ excursion department is top notch! Their scope of ability to provide any excursion you wanted was endless and their fleet of boats was impressive to say the least. Even if you dont stay at the resort you should consider using them for excursions. Our room was perfection! It was right on the beach, quiet and secluded so we felt that perfect honeymoon vibe, but steps from everything we needed, though they were great about coming to us so we barely lifted a finger for anything. We are so glad we chose Ramons Village to extend our honeymoon, we will definitely be back! Thank you all!

Resort was like a jungle setting. Our room was a beach front room. Really nice to go set on the deck a watch the ocean.Its a great resort and we would definitely stay again. The only thing we didnt like was there was no bar or music

My family and I had a relaxing stay recently at the Ramons Village Resort. The room is spacious, and the service is attentive, not to mention that the Resort is right on the beach, the view of sunrise and Belizean Barrier Reef over the Caribbean Sea from our room is simply amazing! Their Pineapple restaurant is a great addition to savor Belizean cuisine!

My friends and I had breakfast at the restaurant during our trip and the service and food was exceptional. Jorge was our waiter and he checked on us and made sure we were comfortable and well taken care of.

For our ten year anniversary, we went to San Pedro, Belize. Amazing place to visit. We chose to stay at Ramons after lots of reviews and a few personal suggestions. THIS WAS THE BEST DECISION!! We loved it here. The staff was just great, friendly, attentive, and helpful. Everything we found here was WAY more than we ever expected. Absolutely on par with any resort we have been to in the states, if not above. Will definitely be visiting again in the future.

Excellent hotel. The staff is outstanding and very helpful and will take care of your every need. Food was good at the restaurant. Wish they had a full bar but you can bring your own booze and just mix it into the smoothies and other drinks they offer at the pool bar. They also have a beach and their own scuba services. They also have rental carts here but probably cheaper a block down the street. Only negative thing I have to say was we killed two roaches in the room over 3 nights. Not a big deal considering all the natural wildlife and everything else outside. I give them 5 stars and absolutely plan to come back here whenever I am on vacation in Belieze/San Pedro.

Well we missed out on our dinner here cuz of a major downpour but we thoroughly enjoyed the ambiance walking thru the grounds. Would love to go back!!

Although I live on the island, I love visiting Ramons foot their coffee bar thats open to the public as well as guests! With generous drink portions and a relaxing area to watch the ocean and chat with friends, this is a favorite personal getaway when Im needing a break from work!

Friendly staff that are very personable and excellent at remembering their guests by name.Stayed a week at Ramons Village Resort and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. As a group, we did diving for 5 days straight, and 1 night dive. Unbelievably beautiful reefs and water near Ramons Village which is a short few minute boat ride. There are at least 20 different dive sites so there is no shortage of adventure.House keeping staff was thorough and tidy. No complaints here. For those new to Ramons Village, there is a pay-for laundry bag that is well worth using. Often finished and returned by late afternoon.Food was pricey but delicious. The only complaint I would have is that there isnt enough for the price. The pictures are not representative of the plate portion size!Overall, plan on going back next year to visit Belize and staying at Ramons Village Resort.

Friendly, funny and very efficient staff will help you solve any problem. Unique resort with tropical scene. Unlike any of the others on the island. The dining is good as well, breakfast reasonable, dinner is on the pricey side. You get a quality experience in a beachfront setting. Worth it.The beach is manicured at dawn each day clearing a beautiful path for your sunrise experience.This is our third trip here.️!!

The staff here is #1 in customer service. The manager checked on us daily and with each conversation made it very personable. I won’t stay any other place. Food is amazing!

The food was fantastic the pineapple Burger is definitely a winner this ceviche was delicious. We were also happy to see that we were given the plastic bottled cokes. The waiter was Very attentive we were very grateful for chief. We also appreciated that they were able to provide us with the Wi-Fi information because having 2 small children it made our lunch a lot more enjoyable. We were able to enjoy our last day on the island with a delicious meal and A unbelievable view.

Amazing property. Clean, well kept and taken care of. Very pretty surroundings, nice beach chairs, cabanas are very unique and authentic with beautiful porches to lounge on. Rooms are cleaned every single day, towels and bed sheets are clean and changed as needed/requested. Front desk staff are also amazing, the check in and check out were fast and easy. Pineapples Restaurant is quite delicious and it is very enjoyable to have a meal practically on the beach. There is always security on the grounds, which provides that extra safety. Staff are amazing, the only advice is for the younger males working at the Pineapples restaurant to be less enthusiastic about female travelers staying at the hotel. While the friendliness is always appreciated, there is a line that was crossed a couple of times. It might be beneficial for the hotel management to establish a few guidelines when it comes to guests, especially female guests, and what generally is considered inappropriate. Overall, I highly recommend booking this place, you wont regret it. My girlfriends and I traveled through Belize in March and stayed at 3 different locations. This was the best of them all.

The perfect balance of adventure and relaxation. The rooms are unique and very private and the staff is awesome. The view from the resort is breathtakingly beautiful. I would reccomend staying here to anyone visiting the area and plan to go back myself.

Ive chartered lots of boats in my life in many strange and foreign waters, but Ramons Village set me up with Tino and his nephew Ryan, and my son and I had a fantastic time. These guys were great.

A few things I really enjoyed about the property. The rooms are clean and more modern than some of the other local hotels I’ve stayed in. The restaurant named pineapples is a great spot to eat and possibly watch a sports game on the flatscreen TV. All the staff were super friendly from cleaning people, receptionist, bartenders and servers, and dive instructor’s. The resorts diving and scuba instructor‘s for day trips are top notch! I went during low season and it was still packed from the amount of other people staying offsite hearing about the quality the diving team at Ramon‘s has. However, this does not raise the price significantly as they are still very competitive. One of the main reasons I chose Ramons versus other resorts was the fact it had a walkout beach. This particular reason is my main decision point as most of San Pedro Ocean front is more of a dock style waterfront. The beach is kept clean of debris and trash. For this particular stay the seagrass was a small issue, however Ramon’s staff did their best efforts to keep it clean. I would definitely stay here again if returning to San Pedro. It is only a 0.2 mile walk from the ferry and you can literally walk down the beach from ferry to Ramon‘s going south. Great location!

A beautiful resort on the beach. The tiki huts offer a nicer stay than a traditional hotel room.

Really beautiful property with friendly staff and excellent dive spots just minutes from the dock. They picked us up from the ferry in two golf arts and gave us a quick tour of the charming San Pedro area. Breakfast at Pineapples is great, try the Lamanai Eggs for a local flavor or the Barrier Reef Breakfast for a hearty Pre-dive meal. The guys at the dive shop can also help arrange day trips back to the mainland to see the ATM caves or ruins. Also recommend the snorkeling trips out to Hol Chan marine resevere, so much sealife to see even from the surface.

We stayed for five nights at Ramon’s in mid-March amid escalating concern around the global pandemic. We cut our trip short in order to return to Canada. The front desk staff, and particularly Josh was outstanding in reassuring and assisting us with the necessary arrangements. Our room was comfortable, clean and well appointed with everything we needed. The grounds were absolutely beautiful. We ate several times at Pineapples and found the wait staff, particularly Chief attentive. I recommend the Seven Seas Shrimp! We very much enjoyed the beach, which we understand is the best swimming beach in all of San Pedro. The snorkeling trip to Hol Chan Reserve was a highlight of our stay, which we highly recommend. Thank you to our guide and captain, Beli for his impressive knowledge of the area and sea life. We hope to return to Belize next spring to complete our tour, and will definitely stay at Ramon’s again.

Great place that was open air with reasonably priced food. We had sushi, but I really wanted to try their alfredo.

We dove with Ramons for 3 days, including a Blue Hole trip. Rick is the dive shop manager and took very good care of us during the bookings and for needed equipment along with Ashner. Wil was the boat captain for the Blue Hole and day 3 of diving, what a great guy! My 17 year old daughter didnt make one of the dives so she hung out with Wil on the boat during the dive and said he was cool (wow!), plus he passed volleyball with her on the dock during some down time which made a big impression.They were on time, the dive guides (AC and Chris) took good care of the people needing taken care of, everyone was genuinely friendly so heck yeah, based on my experience, I would recommend them :)

Best trained dive staff I have ever dove with, anyone from beginner to advanced will be comfortable and have a great and safe day.

La spiaggia di fronte lhotel non è il massimo ma è dotato di un ottimo diving (provvedere alla propria attrezzatura dato che il noleggio è caro) e volendo cè una banchina che permette di immergersi in acque migliori. Include il servizio di towels e la stanza è dotata di aria condizionata. Il ristorante al suo interno ha prezzi contenuti ed è buono.

The tiki huts were really cool but a bit small for a family of 4. Close access to nice clean beach. Staff were amazing, friendly and helpful. Very clean grounds and throughout property. Would have been nice to have a microwave. Air conditioning was marginal but worked and was small area so ended up being cool enough to sleep.

Really nice swimming and views.

We had a wonderful time visiting San Pedro and staying at Ramon’s. The rooms are individual cozy thatched roof huts. There are a lot of noisy birds singing but that was relaxing for us. We got scuba certified during our stay and Adolfo was our instructor. He was so patient and such a good teacher- we wish he could join us on all of our dives! The boats at Ramon’s seemed like the best in San Pedro. The location was perfect- walkable from the airport, ferry dock and restaurants. All of the staff was very helpful and kind. We definitely want to go back!

Aber personal an der Rezeption haben auf meine zugegebenermaßen nicht tolle Laune bei Anreise alles andere als professionell reagiert und blieben arrogant bis zum Schluss - obwohl ich inzwischen sehr freundlich war .. aber irgendwie gut, zu sehen , dass wir keine Computer sind und alle ihren Stolz haben :) ..
