Service not good, and the meat is too thin. I think this could be bought online grocery. Very disappointed. Do not know why the score is so high, and its worser than other Shabu hot pot.

This place was a major disappointment! First off, they have a table in front of a storage closet that needs to be moved everytime they need to get wine. Why would you do that? My wife and I kept having to stand up and move while we were eating. Second, there was a short waitress with a chip on her shoulder and she just kept giving me and my wife attitude. We asked her for wine twice and both times she responded as though we asked her to do something inconvenient. Finally, we ordered shrimp and, I kid you not, they gave us a plate with a block of ice and shrimp somewhere inside! My wife had to chisel our shrimp out of it. Im never going back!

Tasty local Shabu Shabu spot in the heart of Japan Town San Jose

Came around 7pm on Sunday. There were 3 parties on queu b4 us. The wait was around 30 min before we were seated.Setting in place before we set and we were ready to order. Very simple menu. Offer 4 different soup base, 4 kind of meats. We ordered spicy Miso and Tonkotsu..they were tasty. Service was also good w requests. They served quick. Hot tea was hot, beer was icy cold. Price point is typical JA food range, a bit lower than other Shabu in Santa Clara, or SF.

Clean, hit pot place, friendly service in Japan Town.

Decent hotpot. Only entrees are Lamb beef and pork, virtually no seafood. Broth is reasonably spicy.

Flavor was good. The meat dishes give a almost as much vegetables as the vegetarian option, with a $2 difference. The Angus beef dish gave 9 slices of beef.

Fantastic hotpots, decent service. Try the tonkotsu.

Food was good, but the place got stuffy a little fast for me.

Waitress spilled half my beer, wiped it up and walked away. It became a very expensive beverage.

It was alright. Steep price imo for what you get. Large was 8 ounces of meat at ~20 so once you factor in tax and tip, it is at least 25.

Not a great hotpot. Limited menu, not all you can eat.
