Lvl Uproar is a really cute little place that I had no idea existed but Im excited to drink local beer and play video games. The saison was really tasty and those green beans were !!!!!

Loved the atmosphere of the place. Food was hot and delicious! The staff was also super friendly and helpful.

Great beer, pizza and fries. A dope hip-hop Chicano-ish alt rock band was playing, it was dope. Would love to go again.

Excellent beers. Their Sai San Jose saison is one of the better saison beers that I’ve had in the Bay Area. Normal pub fare of burgers and pizza which are of above med quality, but match the prices. Big open space where you pick a seat amongst the tables or bar after putting your order in at the front of the bar.

Good beer and friendly staff but no wifi or outlets -- at bar -- and metered parking mean this is a one and done brewery for me. If your looking to disconnect for a while, this would be a good place to do so.

I have high expectations of this place going forward. Their beers were great and they have many local brews as well from Altamont to Fieldworks. They had a great menu with tons of bar food but were out of much of the menu when we got there for an early dinner. We had a pizza with pepperoni and pepperochiis and garlic. Very tasty and my 5 year old loved it. The fried pickles were great too! But would have loved to try the Mac and cheese. As they get through some growing pains in the kitchen, it will be a great spot to sip some brew and eat some good bar food. Will definitely be back to check the progress

Very impressive craft beer brewery, with a massive open to view brewery making stuff while we tuck it away.Spoke to JC one of the very knowledgeable brewers there. He spent a time explaining the process which was happening at that moment and some things I hadnt seen live before. Good experience.The chip portion with ketchup (very nice and al i oli) was huge:o. Bar staff very friendly and funny, but they need a LOT more of them as this place is popular.The bar queue is a great idea, but with more staff for the time of night. It was nearly out of the door.For custom, Id make it quick. I didnt stay for a second as the queue was too long at 8.45pm. A shame. The golden stave is absolutely incredible! So is The Monarch! You have to try them.

OUTSTANDING food - burgers, fries, salads, wings, brussel sprouts, all blew us away. Loved the oatmeal stout and the stave, our group was thrilled with our visit on a Friday afternoon!

This brewery is the place to be if you like beer and good food to go with it. I love the matching beer options for each dish, great idea! Sometimes music, sometimes sports or movies on the projector. It can get packed in there on Fridays so be sure to place a reservation if you plan to show up with a larger group.

I am sure this is a nice place. Came here to spend an hour while waiting for somebody and had the two varieties of their Kolsch ... did leave something to be desired.

Shame on Uproar for stopping the sale of flights just because there are only two bartenders and pouring flights would back up the line. There isnt a line!!Not a good first impression for a craft beer drinker from Ohio!

Oddly, for a brewery, this place has excellent food but pretty horrendous beer. I’ve been here at least 10 times and the beer never gets any better. They should rename it “Uproar Appetizers” and just stop making the beer altogether.

Came in with 6 people and placed a pretty big food order, but they were able to accommodate us and deliver our food with a short wait. Food is DELICIOUS.

“Uproar” is a misnomer, as the establishment has spartan, bland interior and no ambiance.Same philosophy was obvious in the poor and overpriced menu choices offered.Cashier must have been related to the boss, because her indifferent attitude and abysmal service, it was very evident she did not really care to be there.Of course, when you are in a totally dead downtown area of San Jose and all the other businesses are even worse, it doesn’t take much to earn four stars.In other words, Uproar’s rating does not reflect what they would have earned anywhere else in the US.If one were drunk, thirsty and had Deep pockets, one might not have wasted time in this industrial-looking common beer hall.Will not return.EssSorry, I could not “Post” without checking a star first!
