Really appreciate that the waitress that approached us to take our orders was nice, thoughtful, patient and friendly! She is the best waiter/waitress I have ever met. Shes a breath of fresh air from all the bad waiter/waitress. The food is good.

Honolulu HK Cafe at Robinsons Manila serves roast meat and soy sauce chicken. I love the lechon kawali-ish that has crunchy skin and is perfect with the ginger sauce. Another favorite is the HK style stir fry noodles with pork chop- so good! Of course, theres the curry fish balls, a streetfood favorite in HK. The resto also has HK milk tea but the one I got tastes over brewed. Price is quite affordable and serving portion is generous.

A Hong Kong specialty restaurant named after the capital city of the US 50th State...interesting!I had pork and mushroom rice; the smell was so authentic. Be careful when ordering for rice dishes served in metal bowls...the food is so hot it actually can burn your tongue. The price is not exorbitant considering I took away 2 of their yummy looking buns. The new normal setting is safe enough (when will this end!!!) complete with registration and alcohol dispensers at every table.

We are so happy to find this place serving reasonably authentic HK style foods, egg tarts and pastries. We had a good meal here and everything was tasty and enjoyable. The service was a bit slow and sloppy, the service team must improve their teamwork and communication to serve the customers. Also the price is a bit expensive for what they are serving but still definitely worth a visit for a date or a treat =)

Food - We ordered Honolulu Egg Tart 〜 its okay for me and I like the crust; Honolulu Bo Lo Bun 〜 this one has no filling inside, its just a plain bread and its good too but not for me ; Bo Lo Red Bean 〜 the red bean inside is tasty but I hope that they can add more filling ; Double Roasted Meat Treasures set(Roasted Pork Belly and Roasted BBQ Pork) 〜 great combo! The roasted pork belly is crunchy and bbq is tasty. Will try soy chicken next time ; and Stir Fried Hong Kong Style Noodle with Pork Chop in XO Sauce 〜 the noodles and the pork chop are awesome combination! Its not super dry .Staff/service - some of them are friendly and accommodating, but theres one of them thats kinda rude considering that my boyfriend was taking a video for the food that staff was giving us water without saying excuse me or just use the other side where our cups are located. But they were able to provide our requests in a timely manner.Place - quite big and they also have extra space. Their kitchen is open to the public so you can see the what the cooks are doing. The lights and designs are good in the eyes. But they dont have comfort room here. Recommend -

HK style cafe with the famous bolo bun or pineapple bun as known everywhere in HK. Its the perfect pairing for your coffee break. The roast meat rice meal is absolutely delicious with the mustard wasabi. Service is fast and the staff is quite attentive. Chinese pop music piped in at the background will kinda remind you of the old cafes in HK. Except this place is way too modern and neat. Staff is nicer too. Overall I think the baked bun items are the top crowd drawer.

Honolulu food is one of a kind. One thing that I like staying in this restaurant because the staff is very friendly, accommodating and they have excellent customer service. I like the ambiance very simple and pretty much it can accommodate a lot of people. Price is inexpensive. They also have a lot of options.

Honolulu HK Cafe serves a good selection of Cantonese favorites like baked rice dishes, roast meats, sweet and savory buns, and egg tarts. We had their Baked Chicken Rice in Portuguese Style, Baked Rice with Pork Chop Rice and cold HK Milktea. Their version of baked rice didn’t feel too rich as compared to other HK-themed restos in Manila which serve similar dishes. Milktea was OK - very fragrant but I expected it to be stronger like the ones you’ll find in HK. It was a good dining experience overall.

Had a meal here today and asked if they have any soup on the menu. Waitress told me they only have noodle soup so I said I just want a little soup. She didnt say anything and calmly left after taking our order. So halfway through the meal, I asked for the soup which hasnt been brought yet then the waiter asked me if I wanted noodle soup. Just the soup only. No noodles. After a couple of minutes, i was served clear broth presumably the same one as the they serve with noodles which is what I asked for. So when I was having the soup, a lady presumably the manager came to me and asked me how the soup was. I said it was ok then she went on to tell me that they just made an exception this time because someone ordered noodle soup and they just set aside a small portion for me. She then proceeded to tell me that they might not be able to grant my request next time. Her exact words wereSir hows the soup to which I replied ok then she went on to tell me that sir nagkataon lang may nagorder ng noodle soup and sinabay lang namin order mo next time pag walang magorder baka di ka na namin mapagbigyan. First up the broth in noodle soup are usually prepared in large pot and not prepared as you order. Anyone who has been around chinese restos would know that. 2nd what kind of half decent chinese resto doesnt serve soup? Tim ho wan or lugang which are located on the same mall have a variety of soups to choose from. Its a chinese restaurant for crying out loud. Its a well known fact that chinese people love their soups. Thats why the soup menus of chinese restos are usually extensive. Third I wasnt asking for free soup. Charge me for it for all I care. I just want soup to accompany my meal. And did the manager have to sound so condescending as if she did me a big favor by giving me free soup? I wasnt asking for it to be free. I just want soup even if I have to pay for it. Was that so hard?

HK Honolulu Cafe in Robinsons Manila is very spacious. Whether you come solo or with a group, there’s a right spot for everyone. The egg tart and Bo Lo Bun with butter & coffee bun are my favorites under the bread section. The last two are big enough for a moderate eater like me. Egg tart tastes the same as the one in HK! Their milk tea can compete with other shops that sell milk tea alone. The char siu pork and lechon Macau are so tender. I needed extra rice for these!
