Stayed for 1 night in between flights. I wasnt expecting a whole lot given the exterior from my research. I was pleasantly surprised at how quaint and charming the interior was. As one review stated, it is a perfect place to capture your Instagram worthy photos. Check in was smooth and was greeted with a smile. The elevator albeit old, like most of the hotel, has been updated with modern push buttons. The Prestige Luneta room was large and clean. It offered an in room safe, mini fridge and snack bar with a price list, robes and slippers. The robes unfortunately were too small for a North American built man and a tall Filipina. The one downside, as what others probably mentioned, was that the curtains wouldnt close properly and that the track was broken. WiFi was pretty much non-existent but didnt bother calling because it was only a one night stay. The bathroom offered a stand alone bathtub, shower and basic amenities. Enjoyed the strong water pressure from the shower. Booked a 3 night stay at the end of our trip but ended up cancelling due to plan changes. I would definitely stay again given a chance.

Bona ubicació, habitacions amplies, bons banys i dutxa ideal. La connexió wifi és realment bona pels estàndards filipins. Lesmorzar be, però si lhas de pagar a part, és massa car.

Great old world hotel. Charming with modern coveniences. Great location in Manila. More than 100 years old but stil modern due to recent renovation. A little bit of history to share, Dwight Eisenhower lived at Luneta for 4 years. Nice place.

Good rooms, good customer service amd thr hotel has a lot of history. BUT the breakfast is not so great and limited parking options (just street parking outside the hotel).

I like its structure, its vintage decors. It was so historical and classy. Our room was spacious and my parents loved it. The staff were accommodating. Food was good though it was served plated unlike other hotels that serves buffet breakfast, youll leave the table full. Overall, it was a good place to relax and unwind with your love ones, friends, special someone or just your self.

I traveled with my young children under 10. It was in a convenient location to quickly cross out the very important heritage landmarks such as the Natural History museums, Luneta Park, Intramuros and Kalesa rides. There was a typhoon when we stayed. When the skies cleared after 11am, it only took us less than 4 minutes to reach the doorstep of the museums. From the hotel, there was a ChowKing and 7-11 around the corner. We can quickly get a Grab. The room was spacious, has marbled floors, large and comfortable bed, rain shower head, sparkling clean tub. Channels in the cable TV were quite plenty. It had the cartoon shows that my kids wanted and they were willing to stay all day in the hotel to watch their shows. The elevator was modern (way better compared to the century old hotels we stayed in Paris). We enjoyed the free welcome drinks (especially after a long walk around the museums) and they have afternoon tea time - reasonably priced and the setting on the ground floor was relaxing. We truly enjoyed our stay there. Kids can’t wait to be back!

When I checked in, I found there was no hot water in the suite I had reserved. So I was then transferred to another suite. The next day, there was no hot water there also. They sent a maintenance man who worked under the sink for almost an hour on the “instant hot water heater”. Finally he said it was fixed. But after he left, the hot water only lasted 2 minutes. So no hot showers for 2 days. But otherwise the hotel was lovely. Great restaurant with a smooth jazz combo playing. Historic property and very romantic.

The Luneta suite , The biggest room category and best room at The hotel, had a very good ambiance. Comfortable bed, nice bathroom and a great view. However there was a problem with The airconditioning which i believe they should have for seen since they knew we were coming in. they shouldnt have placed us there. Room transfer was offered but was a big inconvenience. Check in experience dint give much on an impact, im sure that was Not The standard check in process. Since they hold such a historic Filipino background Which was posted all over they lobby. they could have placed a little more Filipino feeling of hospitality Or welcoming in The check in process. Same goes to The check out process.

Pros: I like this hotel because of its history. It has Instagramable spots. We got the superior room so its spacious and has a tub. Also has a good view compared to the other rooms.Cons: They have poor service though. Similar to some reviews in TripAdvisor, the guard is MIA and no one directed us in where to park since they have very few parking slots. No one helped with our luggage too. Their breakfast took ages before it was served. Its not a buffet breakfast. I requested for scrambled eggs but was given sunny side up. Since it took so long for the food to be served, I didnt bother to ask for my scrambled eggs anymore and settled with the sunny side up. They had no hot choco so we got their juice that was too sweet for us. Their food is on the pricey side.

We originally booked this hotel months in advance on our 3 week trip to the PI. when we arrived at this hotel on our first leg of the trip a little after 1200 (noon) they said we would have to pay early check in fee since check in isnt until 1400 (2pm). Okay we were fine with that even though our room was already cleaned and ready. They wrote my credit card information on a peice of scrap paper and stated theyre credit card machine wasnt working at the moment and they would charge it later. Well wouldnt you know on the last night they call to tell us we owe them cash for the early check in. Surprise, surprise theyre credit card machine is not working again but for the last 4 days I watched X amount of people checking in paying with credit cards. They had no intentions on charging my card, if your being cheap to save a buck because you do not want to pay the credit card fee just be honest about it we would have understood and we would have been completely okay with it. Its very suspect when they call at 2100 (9pm) stating they are coming up right away to collect the money without even offering me a reciept or the paper my credit card information was written on. I had to go down to the lobby and demand a receipt and the scrap paper my credit card information was written on. I wouldnt be surprised if fraudulent charges appear on that credit card in the near future. As a traveler I would stay clear of this place, it reeks of dishonesty. Not to mention there was dried blood on the comforter downward facing the sheets, we would have never noticed if we didnt pull the comforter back while it was still light to relax a little after 20 plus hours of flying I immediately notified the front desk right away honestly the dried blood was larger than a half dollar, house keeping came up right away and changed out the bedding. The first time they cleaned our room we came back and had no toilet paper. I notified the front desk my wife and I went back out to explore the town and several hours later when we returned again there was no toilet paper. The curtains dont close properly, I suspect the string sagging down is part of the track system to open/close the curtains. Throughout the night at various hours you can hear alarm bells ringing outside as if a emergency exit door is constantly being opened. The bed shakes as big trucks drive by all throughout the night, feels kind of like your on a cruise ship and thats on the 4th floor superior garden view. The free internet did not work anywhere in the hotel including the lobby on either my Samsung or my wifes Iphone. I will be sure to have them inspect the room before we leave just incase there is anymore shady business going on. I dont trust the male employee working the front desk. At no time was there ever anything written down stating they were charging us the early check in fee not until I demanded a receipt. which leads me to believe someone was trying to just pocket some cash from an unexpected foreigner.

We had our dinner once here. Order a few viands, beef salpicao, pork sisig, and calamares.Food serving:- Reasonable for a fine dining experience.- Food was served warm.- Portion was resonable as well.- Presentation was neat, simple, and appetizing, no extravagance done to it.Taste:Salpicao- Meat was tender that youd want not to stop eating it.- The wine used as marinade and to tenderize the meat was just exact as well as its seasoning.- Maybe just a bit more garlic astonish my taste buds to suffice our cravings for this salpicao.- This dish focused on its taste mainly and not in its ingredients.- recommended dishSisig- Thre pork was kinda challenging as it wasnt crispy or tender just like other restos who serve sisig.- egg wasnt over cooked. Was not too spicy, just the right balance of soy when it was cooked.- no extenders like mayonnaise, in other words, just like their salpicao, focused on its taste.- recommended dishCalamares- Disappointing. Squid was one of those frozen packed squids from the grocery.- Dip was not appetizing as it was just an ordinary mayonnaise.Service- Excellent customer service.- Just what I am looking for, service with a smile.

Breakfast included but terrible . We spoke with the chef and told them to change the menu and take pride of what they’re doing . They need to improve their menu otherwise people will be disappointed since The Manila Hotel, Rizal Park Hotel and Bayview Hotel are nearby with a comparable rate with much much better menu . We visited all those places and tried their food and also stayed on those hotels. Of course Manila Hotel topped them all.
