Beautiful interior design, acceptable plates at slightly elevated prices. Unfortunately, the flavour resembles Greek cuisine only by far. It is the Filipino understanding of Greek food, which is not to say they cannot cook in the Greek way, they obviously can as I have seen in other restaurants, they just do not see the necessity, or they prefer it in this way. But Saziki without fat and unsweetened Greek yogurt and without garlic is simply not Saziki.
Food is exquisite, service is sub par. No staff attending to entering/would be customers (watched a family come and leave to another restaurant as no one was attending to them). We asked for a table for three and we were only greeted with a nod and nothing else. We sat, we waited, and nothing. We needed to catch the attention of one of the servers just to get our menus. Wrong food came in, different from what we ordered despite the server repeating our orders correctly beforehand, thus doubling the waiting time for us to eat. We also needed to ask for our take out twice before it was given. The amazing food this restaurant serves deserves a much better service from the staff. Definitely has a lot of room for improvement. Also, servers dont know the correct pronounciation of gyro.
I’ve been going to this restaurant since they opened in Power Plant some 20 years ago. It’s one of my favourite restos in the mall because of its ambiance, friendly staff and of course delicious Mediterranean dishes. A staple order is the chicken kebab with buttered rice. Also worth ordering are their pizzas especially for big groups. Their falafel is also delicious if you want a healthy treat. All their dishes are relatively affordable (given that Power Plant is an upscale mall).
Had chicken kebab for first time and ill be back for sure! Big serving as well.
Delicious food! And this comes from someone who has lived in the Middle East and North Africa. Haven’t tasted better falafel and hummus in Manila. Definitely worth a visit!
If you are at the mall and like a tasty reasonably priced and healthy meal Cafe Mediterranean is always reliable.
Another of those restaurants I can not live without. Though they may have challenges with being consistent in flavor, this can be forgiven when looking ( or tasting) the totality of this resto. Order anything...pizza, pasta, salad ( though the Turkish salad seems sparse for the price), Syrian and Mediterranean cuisine, gyros and squish it with the yoghurt and chili sauce and be transported to a land of mystery and magic!I just hope to see greca and Mediterranean pizza back in your menu...please guys!
Food is good.all waiter & cashier are friendly except the manager in a casual attire. poor sample to their staff.the manager at your moa store, is much more better than this rockwell branch manager
Truly delicious mediterranean foods, bursting with flavour at a reasonable price.Recommend the Moroccan Beef Stew with side order of Hommus.
