Excellent choice for alternative Filipino food from Recipes or Mesa or Abe or Lorenzo’s way ️ their dessert and liquor menu is the best! The TABLEA CAKE for 175 a slice was amazing!!! Try the bibingka cheesecake too. For the food, the pansit sisig was the best for my palette. And especially love how the crispy pata was served. The meat and skin was sliced and placed on top of the bone. You can enjoy it more with less struggle haha and the soy sauce too!! each ulam is good for 2 people while the crispy pata is good for 4.Price point is 200 to 300 —We had pork and chicken adobo gataGising gisingSinigang bangus bellyDancing tilapia with tomato salsaPansit sisigBanana que ala mode (vanilla ice cream with TSOKNUT!!!) SARAP!!!Will try the halo halo next time!We didn’t have to wait for long to get seated and was happy the food got served in less than 10 minutes.. not sure if that is the norm but on the day we were there, I think there was an event for food bloggers too, Jan 30 2019.Love our seat and table height too. You can say it’s ergonomic but a bit masikip for the place.Try it!

Food - not spectacular. I wish I went to Cold Stone instead. Yes, that unimpressive.Service - okay. Staff was friendly. Order took a bit too long.Chairs - not comfy at all. Don’t come here to chat w a friend.Ambience - “benchy” music. Am I at Fix? The black counter fascia is smeared and smudged with fingerprints or something. Makes the store feel dirty.Overall - needs improvement. 3 stars means I won’t remember this place tomorrow.

Cool concept! We discovered BENCH/ Cafe as we strolled around Greenbelt and Im glad we stumbled upon it.I love how the menu, from the main course to the dessert, is focused on Filipino dishes. Since, we just ate and just wanted to see whats inside the cafe, we ordered classic Filipino snacks: Turon and Banana Cue. The bananas were cooked just right . We paired the snacks with Benchanted Iced Tea and Calmansi Shake which were both good too.The food was reasonably priced too, so thats a plus.

Stylish Filipino style interior very appropriate for the sumptuous Filipino dish. This is definitely a must to try in Greenbelt.

We tried ordering take away from their window outside but had to wait a little for the preps. They were kind and offered to let us wait inside the cafe.Mais Con Hielo and Ube Halo Halo were interesting so we got some, and one impressive observation was the ice-cream, which appeared to be shaved while frozen. I was happy with the texture and quantity of ice-cream towards the bottom, plus the ingredients at the base were also fresh with satisfying colors and textures.Well be back to try their other take away desserts!

Food was good but it took so long. The management should think if they should add more staff especially when their guests flock on weekend nights.

Nice interiors and reasonably priced menu. I ordered the US beef silog for P229 the tapa was soft and flavorful. A little salty for my taste. The garlic rice is drizzeled with tapa sauce so the flavors is bit too much for my taste but still enjoyed it. I also ordered the 12oz ube halo halo for P99 the ice shavings itself is the ube flavor my only issue is the serving is small after mixing everything it was reduced to half of the cup and was only able to get a couple spoon fulls. Order the bigger one.

Overall speaking it’s a very nice place, friendly waiters, good ambience, food is perfectly seasoned. And I’m sure girls would love to take photos here and upload them to Instagram. The reason I only give 4 stars is because the pork in my sinigang sa mansanas is full of hair, and to be honest it can be avoided. Pancit guisado taste wonderful, but it got too greasy when we finish it up.

Ambiance is nice, place is clean. Food is okay but took so long to serve. I’ve heard nice things about Bench Cafe but for a different branch, I was a little disappointed with this branch.

This is not really the best place to have a meal at Greenbelt. The pork in the adobo has a thick layer of fat. The halohalo is a real disappointment. The fruits and other sangkap in it are few and not delicious.

Our food never came out. 3 follow ups and an hour later. Worst service in the world. Lousiest staff. They should shut down.

At Bench Cafe - Greenbelt (5:30pm)Nakaka Spark joy ang place at pagkain nila. We ordered: Dinuguan, Pares Mami Soup, Garlic Rice and Barako Coffee. One of the best dinuguan ever! We loved the crispy pork flakes toppings. Pares Mami is good. Garlic rice makes it all spark even more joy, haha. Perfect match for the tasty dishes. Take note, these are just merienda. We finished it with a cup of very good barako coffee. The price for two is affordable. It ranges from P159 to P220 only. We left the place happy, tummy-filled and joyful.P.S. - Try their turon with ice cream for dessert

Met up with a friend here. Staff were friendly and attentive but the food was meh. I got the bangus meal and it was too salty. My friend got the salted egg chicken and didn’t even finish it because the chicken was dry and bland.Their iced tea was ok. Oh well, now I know. I was really just curious about this resto but won’t go back.

Food was a-okay, nothing superb about it. To top the experience, the place was not welcoming. They let you sit there, gave you the menu, but never checks if you would like to order. You have to get their attention couple of times before they take orders. Waiting for the food to be served takes forever. Again, you need to get the staffs attention multiple times so theyd follow up on the order. It took more than 40 minutes for the food to be served. Then came one out of the two the desserts ordered, again, it took more than 20 minutes to serve a pre-made slice of cake, and the best thing, cake was served without forks-how attentive! Had to cancel the 2nd dessert as we can no longer spend anymore time for such poor service. Giving 1 for this review is actually generous to enumerate our experience. Food is nothing marvellous and the service is disgustingly poor.

Ordered mais con yelo and banana con yelo and both are super yummy!!! It just melts in your mouth. Not too sweet either. Could have given 5 star but waited kinda long to get our order. (20-25 min). The cafe was not even full or busy at that time. Price for each was 105 pesos which I think is just ok.

The Filipino food served here was uninspirational. I would much rather eat in Manam or Recipes.
