Looooove their calamansi pie!
An FB contact invited me to like the page (I think she owns it) and it turns out its a nice cafe hidden along the busy streets of Makati. Its along a quieter street though so thats cool. Its surprisingly wide and spacious (I was expecting a smaller cramped cafe given the nature of the area) so thats a pleasant surprise. I had business in the area for a few days so I came here twice and the service is consistent (theyre nice staff). Its also heaven-sent for people who do #coffice work like me! It looks like its designed that way, too: electrical outlets strategically placed near tables that are comfy enough to work in (and many people do, thank goddess theyre professionals like me and not overgrown students who dont understand the concept of thisisnotyourunistudyhallkiddos). Free wifi, too. The coffee is great, and the non-coffee drinks are also cool. The food is simple but good, just a few selections which is understandable (try the mac and the breakfast pie quiche thing - winner!). I also love the unpretentious laidback interior design concept. Overall a good vibe. Support local yo!
Not really a coffee person so I didnt order any of the coffee. But this place probably has the best fried chicken in the area, the combination of crunch and spiciness is perfect: nothing quite like it anywhere so its worth the visit alone even for non-coffee guys. PS. Also check out the calamansi pie!
There is so good but why name is bad cafe
They serve good coffee. Ambiance and staff are expetional. I have yet to try their food but so far I am happy with my visit.
Great place to hang out! Staff is very friendly. Love the cold brew and chicken waffles / mac and cheese.
Not exactly a bad Cafe but it tries to live up to it.The Americano isnt anything to write home about, the usual one dimensional robusta brewed coffee flavor. The fried chicken is over seasoned, waffles just okay. I had to remove the terrible flavor with a cookie. The grilled cheese is close to a travesty. Placed sliced tomatoes in their with a tomato dip separate. Why not just tomato soup? Bread was also kinda stale. They do have wifi and stylish interiors if thats more of your thing. Probs just ordered the wrong stuff but excited to retry again.
Something new and refreshing. Coffee is top notch
With a name like Badcafe, the expectations are high for it to be THAT good. Walking along Legazpi St. in Makati, once you lay eyes on the cafe’s facade, you can’t help but pause in curiosity and stare at the pink signage; without noticing it, your BaDCafe experience has started—your mind is already inside ordering coffee.Your hand automatically opens the door and your eyes scan the well-lit room: a yuppie is working on a report munching on a cookie and her latte brooding beside the glass window near the doorway; three well-dressed men seemed to be holding their business meeting over cold drinks and pesto. The center is the baristas’ long, slick pass. Very cool. You hear laughter as you turn the corner to the inner room. The tables are filled with colorful people hanging out.Time to order then. You can’t help but anticipate the food as you smell the atmosphere. You sit down and touch the ornamental center plant and notice the exquisite pottery utensils displayed all around. The minimalist-hipster vibe is there dressed in modern features. Your food arrives in the same pottery design. You take a bite. The promise is still kept. Then you stay for hours.Well done BaD couple Brian and Dianne. Your hard work and vision translated into a modern yet cozy place that radiates effortlessly in that busy street of Makati. You’ve been very very bad.
Good place to study. Lots of power outlets
