She is friendly, energetic, and her vibe is topnotch. Elaine made sure our dinner experience was comfortable and satisfying. My balikbayan tito was impressed with her when she waited our table months ago before the pandemic.For this review, I love their Red Sangria. Ive been ordering the same drink for as long I as can remember, and its always the right mix of fruits and alcohol. For this visit, I ordered it twice. Kudos to whoevers hand concocted this elixir.Oh lets not forget to mention everyone in their awesome crew tonight. Thanks for bringing out our orders in a timely manner. Food is great, vegan friendly, nice ambience. Look for Ivy - best hostess ever. Ivy was 8 hours in her shift but still had a smile on her face. Antipodean is lucky to have her.

This is a nice place to go on a date in a pleasant atmosphere in central Makati. The menu is diverse, lengthy and delicious with the dishes professionally prepared. The menu is a bit pricey, so I like this place for more special occasions than every day. One of the few down sides is the coffee is less than stellar with no non-milk options.

During the lockdowns Antipodean has remained open to serve the Legaspi (Makati) community. Currently open 0700-2000 Sunday through Thursday and until 2200 Friday and Saturday. Heartening to see great support for the cafe by the locals and the (few) expatriates that remain in Makati!

I was going to my usual cafe for my favorite Flat White when I spotted this cafe. I decided to give it a try. First, I noticed that the sliding doors past the outdoor seating were open. Thought the place had no AC but the waiter assured me they had AC. And they did. My first time to see a place in Manila with AC on while the doors were wide open.When I saw their cakes and the coffee list (they had Flat White) I settled down onto one of their tables. Nice and quaint place, interesting decor and the menu written on the walls.The Flat White was P150 for a small-sized cup. A little too small for me but it was still a good cup. The Sour Lemon Cake was a bit dry and honestly, not so good. Will not order that again. But the Mushroom and Tomato Toast with Pine Nuts was really really good!Im really glad I found this place. They have lots of food options for breakfast and lunch. This meansI have to go back to try their other entrées. A great alternative to Starbucks (I love them but sometimes I just want something different.)Meals are between P300 and P400 with some choices below 300 or beyond 400. Coffee is pricey because you only get a small cup. But, still a lovely little place!

My favorite restaurant in KL is now in Manila! Tip top service and great food at the heart of Makati.My go-to dishes back in the day were the Big Breakfast (Toast, Bacon/Chicken/Beef/Pork Sausage, Mushroom, Scrambled Egg and Hashbrown) and the All-Day Breakfast (Toast, Bacon/Chicken/Beef/Pork Sausage, Baked Beans, Scrambled Egg and Grilled Tomatoes), both of which are served all day. I also loved their lassi (mango or banana -they have papaya in Manila).Ive started trying out the other dishes on the menu. The fresh buffalo mozzarella with tomato, basil and walnuts is legit!Theres a wide selection of desserts and good coffee for those with discerning tastes.Theyve recently set up a small play area for kids to play in. Pity I wont be able to visit for a few months after this, but Im looking forward to coming back and trying more!If you love fresh air, youll probably like the set up with the indoor airconditioning and doors on one side open to the street... this is probably not as comfortable on scorching hot humid days though.

Il cibo é buono. Costoso ma buono. Catena prevalentemente frequentata da occidentali e con atmosfera snobbish-hipster. Presenta un curioso menû online con varie opzioni. Pizza non speciale, buona la zuppa di zucca e buono anche il kebab. Allinterno si sta un pó stretti, lesterno é carino nei weekend quando non cé troppo traffico.
