I was hesitant to eat at a Japanese (Peruvian fusion) restaurant due to the fact that Im half Japanese and have had amazing food in Japan and was looking more to experiencing Filipino food while in Manila. But can I just say.... Wow. My only regret is not having eaten here earlier in my trip so that I could return and try other things on the menu. My fiance and I had the fresh oysters, wagyu gyoza, nigiri set, nikkei tiradito, classic and salmon Thai ceviches and the seared tuna w/ sea urchin risotto. Everything was absolutely delicious and the service (by Ben, our waiter) was fantastic. After we ordered, Ben moved us to a larger 4 person table to accommodate all of the food that we had coming our way. The prices were also very reasonable (maybe higher end for the Philippines but low compared to getting similar dishes in America). I would definitely highly recommend trying this place and coming early to get the salmon Thai ceviches before they sell out.

Impeccable service! Best time to dine at night - it has a relaxing and laid back ambiance. Thus place is quite full between 7 to 9pm.Highly recommended dish is the Lomo Saltado - the beef is so tender, soft and juicy. The sauce is to die for! Its really good! It comes with a side dish fries and poach egg, it lacks salt though.Seared Tuna with Sea Urchin Risotto is their best seller. Chunky risotto texture, fresh seared tuna and the sea urchin gives it a different kick.They have a complimentary sweet potato chips that are crisp to perfection - we love this too!They also serve a wide array of beverages from coffee, tea, wine and liquor.Great place for a date to just eat, chill and chat.

Ethnically authentic: an elevated match for Peruvian and Japanese fusion made in heaven. This was our first stop for Miguels summer 2019 visit to Manila with the most welcome help of Ben (server).

Will definitely be back here. Has a nice ambiance, one of the best place when bringing your special ones who loves japanese cuisines.Better have an online or booky reservation if you dont want to wait. The food is pricey but really worth it. Really loved their Aburi Roll and Grilled Ebi.Service is fast and the staff are attentive and pretty friendly as well.

I recommend this restaurant!You can really taste the good quality food.The resto is a little tight but it is always a great place to eat rolls. This is not my first time here and this time we got the tuna mango roll, miso salmon roll, aburi roll and all are amazing. We also got the seared tuna with sea urchin risotto and it is just perfect (good for 2 people).Shoutout to Ben for a great service!

Extraordinary customer service! Jake was very accommodating and hospitable Delicious food! Fast service as well. Price matches the quality of food. We ordered two risottos, 10 sushi pieces, tuna sashimi, salmon and wagyu causa. The sweet potato crisps for appetizers with garlic aioli were sublime! Thank you for a great lunch! Will definitely come back. Highly recommended!

The Lomo Saltado was a playful take on sukiyaki. This plus the burnt edamame and toasted corn kernels hint at the chef’s creativity. The Ceviche and Fideo Saltado were also good. The Suspiro dessert didn’t match my expectation (I wanted more foam). But in all, good food, good service, and good interiors.

The atmosphere is really warm and romantic in the dinner time, it suit for dating. The taste is yummy, but for the salmon teriyaki is a bit salty for me. The portion of salmon is small, so I ordered extra cha han +P80.The service is excellent, they responsive and nice.If we booked from phonebooky, we can get P500 discount until 6pm.

We always have a great experience at Nikkei. The food is always good especially their Seared Tuna and Sea Urchin Risotto. Their service is great, too which made our experience better! Weve tried their Lomo Saltado and Ceviches, too. Try their Strawberry and Basil Lemonade, its very refreshing.

Deliciousssssssss food! Ate variety of stuff. Edameme was the best! Sashimi was so so creamy! Prices are also very decent. Will definetely come back. Wine was great as well

People were ver welcoming. The potato chips that came with tasted so fresh and delicious. Reminded me of the times buying fresh potato chips from the Factory.My sushi and sashimi however was not exceptional. I was expecting it to be more fatty.I also tried wasabi ice cream for the first time. It had more kick than thr one that came with thr sushi.

We had the grilled macarel with salad and prawns and beef curry. Price is not worth the taste and serving. The macarel i expect is flavorful by itself, but it tastes malansa. Ive tried authentic Japanese resto and this does not come close. But when you pair it with the side salad with cherry tomatoes, it saves the dish. The curry is comparable to rice toppings, curry is not that peppery and tasteful. Good thing we like the sesame and wasabi ice cream. The soups are just ok. Thumbs up for the ambiance, especially the incandesent lights setting.

Mediocre food at best.Chipirones Fritos - more flour than squid, not hot, only warm.Iberico Pork Ribs - not hot, just lukewarm!Miso Salmon Rolls - didnt taste any salmon. Too much of cream, mayonnaise, etc.Definitely NOT worthy of 4.8 stars with 1000+ reviews.(There was no queue on Thursday at 7pm., and the small restaurant was only 35% occupied)You may reach your own conclusion.Dined on 30 Jan 2020, at 1930h

Always a pleasure to visit this place. First time I visited, I had the most wonderful Niku Uni and milk-soaked Tres Leche. We had Arroz con Leche and Suspiro Limeno on our last visit. Service is always attentive. They offer free desserts on birthdays.
