Masarap naman but serving size is bitin.
On a Sunday dinner, they ran out of crispy lechon. This was super good when i first tried it out. This time around, we ordered pork asado rice topping, soy chicicken rice topping, extra soy egg and cold barley for drink. The mains were both good. If you just want soup, they also offer clear soup for 10 pesos only. The barley drink really lacked taste and the barley itself tasted like old unwashed rice which was weird.
Hong Kong Little Kitchen is a quaint resto in San Juan serving HK classics. I frequent the carwash place across the street and it’s become a habit of mine to dine here while waiting. Among their roast meats, I’ve only tried the charsiu pork, lechon macau and roast duck. Thought their charsiu pork was good - tender and flavorful with just the right amount of fat - but the rest was just ok.
Nice peking duck toppings
Best roast duck Ive tasted in the vicinity. Reasonably priced, too.
Good fried rice! I discovered this place through Eatigo. The servers are knowledgeable and helpful. I got the duck and lechon combo. Yum! The taste of the food really takes you back to Hong Kong. Limited parking space though so try to come at odd hours.
Food is great.Service is terrible. Waiters didnt place 3 of our 6 orders. Definitely ruined the experience.
Great food but there was this one waitress with an attitude that can ruin a perfect meal.
1. Too greasy2. Is it asado or tocino? Half lang ng asado yung meat, half taba3. Duck is too salty4. Ginger oil onion leaks is mehBtw the noodle soup? Not served warm :(Tuen Mun pa din :(
A good place for a quick bite or take out. The roast pork b a barbecue is a must try.
The food was excellent and delicious. However the dining experience was an absolute horror. When I asked about this certain dish beef kenchi, the waitress simply replied ugat. Didnt expect to hear such an answer and i asked her to elaborate but replied still ugat na beef. Later on while eating the waitress took away the chili sauc condiment and didnt return it even though they saw we were using it. They placed the condiment to a different table. While they saw other customers not even using theirs and could have asked and took those unused. Next to our table a senior couple was also complaining about a horrendous customer service. In my case i didnt bothered complaining but instead will put this here. Nonetheless this is a very delicious authentic Chinese restaurant. The wonton noodles is the best in town.
Worth a visit. The food are adequate but needs to add a bit more pieces of meat. Wanton noodle soup is great.
This is a quaint neighborhood restaurant that serves Cantonese food with a focus on roasts which is typical in Hong Kong. The prices are ok and the food quality isnt bad. Theres enough seats for about 30 people. Theres around 8 slots for parking in front. Theres a small toilet too.
Roast duck here isnt the best but the rest are good.
Try the duck the the crispy pork. The bbq pork was too sweet.
One thing I look for in a HK resto is their milk tea. They do have it in their menu, and in their wallpaper you can see milk tea images. But guess what? They dont have it in this branch! They do serve house tea, but when I asked for a calamansi, they dont have one. We ordered steamed wanton dumplings, thats their saving grace, it tasted really good. But itd be best paired with soy sauce, chili sauce and calamansi right? But they dont have calamansi! Noodle soup available was just wanton, no beef, no pork. Soup was so-so. Would have spiced it with chili sauce and calamansi. Then again, they dont have calamansi! First Chinese restaurant thats very disappointing.
Fried rice, asado and soup ive tasted and its good. Need to try other food it serves
Food is delicious. But CR doesnt have water
Good food, good service, roasted pork is a little off but the duck when freshly cut is great!
The beef Kienchi noodle was really good.
Cramped but not bad
Simple but Good Taste !!
