I’ve only eaten here once, but it was with the entire family, and we have a big family. As a result, I got to sample several dishes, and I enjoyed everything that I had. Standard Filipino fair with simple presentation, good service and plenty of cold beer. For the quality of food – which is quite good – it’s quite a bargain: we bought dinner for 22 people for just over $130. I can’t say if that’s a great deal in the Philippines, but it’s a steal here in Los Angeles.I definitely recommend this restaurant.

We went here after a park visit. Parking was great as there were about 15 to 20 free slots. There was an open space table set but we went in since it was really hot and humid outside. Inside, the place was ok. Pretty dark in my opinion but it wasnt an issue. We ordered sisig, which was amazing! Sisig rice, which compared to my last visit had a little less actual sisig in it but stoll as good as it always was. Also had some spring rolls which i thought my daugther would like but she preffered the pata. Our order took about 20 minutes to serve, but the sisig was brought to us late and im pretty sure they forgot that part of our order. Anyway, eberything was perfectly cooked and as good as expected. The place had high chairs and some desert selections. They have shakes too which my daugther loved. Overall, the experience was good, the meal was great and to top it all, the price was really reasonable. One of my favorite restos for sure.

Great place for friends, family and barkadas. And this place has beers for you to drink, if you liked. I liked the food there. We always ordered sizzling bulalo, chicken inasal, pork barbeque, sizzling sisig and adobong pusit. For dessert, they are also offering bibngka and puto bumbong but sometimes they are not available, because the one that is in charge of cooking those are not around.

In the food department, the restaurant’s chicken inasal is no doubt delicious as well as it’s beef bulalo. But their bibingkang galapong is 100 % a misrepresentation. It is not made from real malagkit rice but from Mochi rice which the staff admitted. When it was served to us, I asked for grated coconut but was told by the server that the coconut is already inside the bibingka. I did not feel comfortable with the answer so I called on the lady staff who was standing by the counter and appeared to be the restaurant’s front manager. I told her what the waiter told me. She said there was supposed to be a topping served with it. I asked for the topping but when she returned I was told they had run out of it.Aside from the bibingka fiasco, the restaurant’s overall customer service is beyond poor. Service is so slow and while patrons wait for their order, you see a coterie of its staff either talking idly to each other or running here and there empty handed .For the satisfaction of your customers, I strongly suggest it’s owner visit the place often and conduct regular customer relations trainings for its staff.

The place recently got a new fragrant scent which I believe comes from a humidifier. The fragrance blends with the smell of the food which ruins the dining experience. The food is still good though.

Very poor customer service. They offer food from the menu without even checking their stocks! Then after 15-30 mins. of waiting tsaka lang nila sinabi na out of stock pala yung iba sa inorder namin. We ended up eating whats just left. Also, food serving is too small (basing on their price). Yung pancit nila parang carinderia lang binili. It was my nieces birthday, and we were so disappointed with Jay Js timog.

We ordered sinigang na baboy but we were dismay because the pork has stale or bad odor. We also ordered fried and its so bland. At min, simple food orders cost 225 average but does not taste good. Halo-halo cost 150 pesos, but not worth the price.

A big disappointment. We ordered grilled chicken, but it looks and taste like a boiled chicken put into grilling pan for a few seconds. There s no that grilled smell to begin with. Also ordered sizzling squid, wahh, its like a sauteed squid put into a sizzling plate. No sizzling sound, no sizzling smell. Not even hot.....tsk, tsk, for the pricey menu they have, they should serve good food.

As soon as we entered the restaurant, we were greeted by an unpleasant smell lingering in the air. We got seated and a waiter took our orders, but he didnt confirm whether he understood the order we placed or not. We ordered Kinilaw na Tanigue and Chicken Inasal (thigh part) and turns out he didnt fully understand that we wanted chicken for each person on the table (we were 2 people, by the way). To be fair, the Kinilaw was fine but Id rather have the Chicken Inasal in a fast food restaurant or another competitor that also has it. Rating it two stars for poor service, terrible ambience and somewhat average food.
