Tigas ng beef
Polite servers, chill vibe, mostly ok food, though the com tam, spring rolls, and the bun chay salad lack in pizzaz and that takes-me-instantly-to-Vietnam flavor. Also they take long to prepare, and as soon youre done with your order waiters forget basic courtesies such as refilling glasses with water (despite repeated requests) or following up on your additional food orders, (which we just let slide). Not really a nice experience.Edit: . This was December 2018, around 9PM. We would have understood if it had been a busy night or if we had been somehow rude to them at some point, but neither was the case at the time. :(
It was so good that we had our lunch and dinner in this same restaurant on the same day! Love the Cha Gio and think its one of its bestsellers. The bite-sized spring rolls were so cute, and the peanut sauce still has ample room for improvement. Wasnt too thrilled with the lemongrass chicken thigh, maybe it lacked a little more punch on my taste buds. Looking forward to try the other menu entrees as they definitely look promising! The staff were courteous and attentive. For those wanting takeouts, bring your own containers as they charge a whopping Php20 for each paper carton/box used for packing. They open at 12nn, and have a break from 2pm-6pm.
Saigon Pho is along Maginhawa Street, on the second floor of an old house so just look for its signage, its easy to miss. Its a small cozy restaurant serving different Pho varieties -- seafood, chicken, beef, spicy beef. I ordered the chicken pho, which I like more than the Pho from another Vietnamese restaurant in the same street because the broth has more flavour, there are more basil leaves, bean sprout and chicken meat.Saigon Pho also got fresh spring rolls that you can request to remove the pork if you dont eat red meat (like me), banh mi with pork (I hope they will also have roasted chicken option), Vietnamese fried chicken with rice, vermicelli bowl. They also serve Vietnamese coffee.
Delicious! Though many vietnamese foods are not on their menu, I still love the available dishes.
Wow! From the soup to the salad to their version of pancit to the coffee, everything is so flavorful and refreshing. Definitely coming back here.
Love everything on the menu! Noodle dishes are not oily and you could taste the freshness of the ingredients. Their food is my comfort food️Staff are friendly and attentive especially Sir Joey who suggested that I can order thru Lalamove or Grab purchase service when I asked why are they not on GrabFood.
Great food, affordable, fresh ingredients & friendly staff. All their food are made fresh.
Almost authentic for me. And the tamarind based seafood soup should be tried and it will make you switch from the usual beef pho.
The taste of the pho was not authentic, especially the sandwich which tasted salty only.
Absolutely, amazingly yummy. Its now on my list of favorite places to eat when Im in Quezon City.
Hands down the best and most affordable Vietnamese restaurant Ive been to. Pho Hoa doesnt even compare.
We had high hopes for this Vietnamese restaurant, as wed been eyeing it for a while. When we finally visited, we had to wait 30 minutes to be seated. Once we ordered, our food took about 45 minutes to come out. For the price point of the restaurant we expected the food to taste better than average. Unfortunately, it was bland and disappointing. Our waitress was very nice and polite, though.
I love the food. The prices are reasonable
Amazing customer service, some of the best I’ve ever had, and great tasting food! I’ve been here twice in the past week, would highly reccomend. It’s located on the second floor, don’t miss it ️
If you ask me, this is one (if not the best) of the best vietnamese restaurant in manila. on point ang noodles and coffee! (been to ho chi minh once)
One of thr by so far good vietnamese resto in Quezon city. Simple yet authentic, that is how I describe this place and the food were awesome! The staff were also attentive and smiling as always :) The parking on the other hand could be challenging especially that Maginhawa is known for different food hubs! Don’t forget to try this resto! :)
Best place to eat vietnamese in maginhawathe staffs are very accommodating and the food is really good
Very friendly owner. The food was delicious. I will definitely return for those fresh spring rolls. I thought that the serving should be a little bit bigger for the price but still, good catch. Got Pho Bo.
Their Coffee is still the bestseller here. Food is good specially the sandwich. The the soup they use for the pho needs a little more flavor.
Close to the authentic pho in Vietnam, must try. Serving for 1 to 2 persons, worth the money.
Food yummy! Love the freshness of veggies. Ordered theBun boBeef spicy pho
If youre on a tight budget but still want a Pho, this is the place youre looking for. Not the droids.
Happy to find this restaurant, very good spring rolls and had 2 kinds of pho, very good, could be more greens but in PH thats very rare. Very fair price and good quality food.
Pho taste is a bit off but price is cheap...
Must try:Caphe Sua DaBanh MiAuthentic vietnamese cuisine experience!
Nice little location and good Vietnamese food. Try the coffee, its worth the trip .
음식도 깔끔하고 맛있고 분위기도 좋음
Food is great and very much on point. Service is friendly but needs more finesse (e.g. our order got mixed up with the other tables)
Beats the famous Pho Hoa because of its price, serving and UNLIMITED RICE. Yes! Unlimited rice. Their must try chicken meal that comes with a soup and sauces has an unlimited serving of rice. For P195.That alone beats the competition! The pho ga is big enough for one person for P189. We also tried the bun bo which is a spicy beef soup also P195. It also has our favorite rice noodle.NO SERVICE CHARGE here but you can see that the waitresses are very accommodating and attends to your needs even if you have not called their attention. It was a great experience.Experience Vietnam at this place by looking at the all out design of the place and the music videos from Vietnam. Truly this place was made not just for the food but for the experience.
Good food..i will be back for more
The foods are sooo nice, tasty, yumm yumm yumm and with a reasonable price... A true taste of vietnamese cuisine in the metro.. Cool place...
We had the spicy pho, dry noodles, beef banh mi and iced Vietnamese coffee. Everything tasted good, and the service was fairly quick. The price was much lower than similar restaurants in malls. You have to order the ca phe sua da - - its the closest thing (so far) to what youll find in Ho Chi Minh City.
Nice Vietnamese noodles! Delicious!
So far one of the best Vietnamese resto in Maginhawa St.
Good food, but their menu is quite limited
Favorite comfort food in Maginhawa!
The best Bun Bo and the Spring Rolls are legit!!
There is nothing special compare to other noodle house.
Noodles is great
Pleasure to eat here
The food and price will sure take you to Vietnam!
