The oat milk iced latte here was sooooo good, I’ll have to come back again. I also loved that there was a little market going on while we were there

Well....it looks like Common Bonds but something is just off...........We ordered the French toast and it used to be this amazing fluffy stack of delishness using some fancy loaf of something....and now....it is thin slices of some loaf that feels like it came out of a plastic bag that was over toasted.We also ordered the sausage sandwich.....it used to be on this soft roll, with home made sausage, runny yoke and ample greens......now it is a hamburger bun, the sausage is overcooked, too small to fit on the bun....sad looking thing.So now it feels like someone took something cool, franchised it to Sysco and some corporate dude is trying to replicate the menu at a cost effective way......If youve never been to Common Bonds before they sold it, it is ok but over priced.

Tried the Mocha Mascarpone Tart (similar flavor to tiramisu). $6 seemed to be a bit steep but it was excellent and I loved it!

Everytime I come here I leave with a smile on my face! The employees are a joy and the coffee and pastries are to die for. The desserts are addictive, beware! Love this place

Great coffee and even greater pastry and bread. Havent tried lunch or dinner yet but the selection looks diverse and interesting enough to take it up a notch from basic fare.

Always have delicious little cakes and their chai lattes are also pretty good. They have indoor seating and an outdoor area as well to enjoy the weather.

We placed a to-go order and found out several items were missing. The manager offered to remake & personally deliver our entire order. She even gave us a complimentary pie. The food was delicious and the customer service even better! Mistakes happen but they went above and beyond to make it right.

Unsure how this place can be popular, nothing seems made on the day and it is a just a conglomerate of sugar or bad cheese.Most disappointed with the bakery, everything looks nice, but at closer inspection you start asking yourself question on the freshness of the goods, taste instead is off, everything is way too stuffed and has way too sugar.I think the nutella croissant should be renamed: ball of nutella with frosting and single layer of croissant from yesterday. I even doubt they made money on that one consider the amount of nutella used to stuff it.Coffe Is the only thing that saves the place, they use a good blend.For the savory, i did not attempt to eat anything. I noticed few people with plates full of couagulated cheese, which means nothing was freshly made and mostly reheated in a microwave.There are plenty of other options int eh area, do not waste your time here.

The food was amazing. I ordered the French dip and it was packed with flavor, awesome au jus sauce. They also have really yummy cookies. The chocolate chip walnut is my favorite. I honestly thought this was a coffee shop with pastries, but wow. Get the food!

I hope the owner sees this.I’ve been a fan of Common Bond since they opened on Westheimer. My favorite used to be the soft scramble for breakfast. That’s what got me and my family coming back. We loved it so much that I had to look up how it’s made and we all learned how to make it. It just wasn’t that practical to drive to Westheimer from the Heights.When they opened in the Heights, we got really excited! We got our favorite soft scrambled eggs. It was fine when they first opened. Then the lockdown happened. We ordered a couple for takeout and it wasn’t the same. It wasn’t soft scramble anymore. It wasn’t smooth and creamy... it had the same texture as regular scramble. I let it pass thinking maybe it’s because it’s takeout. Then we went again when they allowed dine in. We were so disappointed. My 8 year old said that my eggs were better. I’m not a chef, so that’s pretty bad!Soft scrambled eggs requires some work like cooking risotto. Constantly whisking it on and off the heat. The soft scramble in the Heights just looked clumpy and lazily done.Someone needs to check on your quality control. It’ll hurt the Common Bond name. I’m sure you guys can get this fixed. I can’t wait to see that smile on my little girl’s face again when she says, “now,that’s better than your soft scramble dad!”

The food is wonderful, but selection is lacking. Incredibly limited vegetarian and vegan options.

Savory food was pretty bland. as far as baked goods, the muffin was sort of an cakey, but some people may like that texture. My mom said her biscuit was dry. I may give it a shot after its been open awhile but it really wasnt worth the price at all. I can get better food and service in many other places nearby.

Love this place! My favorite breakie is the chefs scramble, comes with LOTS of food, great price too. The cappuccino was a bit bitter and lukewarm unfortunately.Depending on the time you visit, seating can be difficult to find. However, ample parking, especially compared to the original location off westheimer.Oh and the chocolate croissant and sticky buns are DELICIOUS!

This is our go-to place for breakfast or lunch or sweets. Never disappoints.

My wife and I came here after having a good number of trips to the Montrose location, all positive. The food here was just ok. Ingredients did not seem as good as they used to, flavor was bland, and price was just as high. Coffee also didnt seem as good. Not sure if its the ownership change or new location working out kinks.

It’s Houston most notable bakery, this new heights location is more spacious than the original. Good breakfast, a bit pricy but worth it.
