A great bakery my family has been coming to for years. Everything is fresh and delicious. You cant go wrong with any of their baked goods.

I havent been in a while. Place was quiet and not many people. I dont think anyone was dinning in at that time. I bought cheese strudel, Bismark and almond roll. They were delish! The Bismark was filled with cream, a little surprising. But good.

Pastries are old world delicious.But here are my observations:Parking extremely difficult and a hassle.Late morning selections very limited.Appearance neglected.Pricing high end,but worth it.Perhaps the pandemic has taken a toll on this business or the owner is nearing retirement.What a loss to the city if we lose this special place.Maybe more customers is a solution.AWARDED 2 YUMS ON A SCALE OF 3

I havent been there in years! Selection was limited but the Hazelnut Roll was sooooo goooood!

Horrible pickup. Line wraps past Clark Ave. stick to Glendale location. Burbank location creates traffic congestion for blocks on end.

The fruit tart and the poundcake have an aftertaste of artificial flavors.

They have excellent pastry and other sweet treats to enjoy also has a cozy atmosphere for a couple or a group of people

I had ordered a cake to be delivered on my sons 21st birthday. He is studying at Northwestern University . They could not deliver the cake at the address . My son was looking for them in parking lot of the building for 30 mins and I was on phone with my son and the driver for full 30 mins and this lady driver kept telling weird allly that she was in .,, finally the cake was not delivered and the bakery shop blamed me and said they tried and now if we want cake we have to come get it from their store . I am out of state and this place is not too close to my sons apartment hence I decided to gift the cake to the bakery shop to enjoy as they’re were not ready to refund any money . They charged me 80 bucks for the whole thingThe staff is rude and very non cooperative

Had a yummy experience at Lutz Bakery this morning. I had not been there in a long time but was happy to taste their pastries and cakes are as delicious as ever! I will make it a point to return soon. I had a chocolate hazelnut cake with tea and my friend had the red velvet cake and coffee. Everything was perfect. This place is a Chicago institution!
