Steak 48 is not only known for their amazing food but they also have great customer service. My husband set reservations on July 6 for our 10th anniversary and my 42nd birthday and I must say the staff really made my day special with their comforting congratulations and birthday wishes, they had cards prepared plus complementary desserts for both occasions. Our waiter was great as well she gave superb customer service. We had a overall amazing experience.

Why? Because the food was great and the place is beautiful. Got the chicken fried lobster tails and they should be illegal, theyre so Dan good! Wife had the Short ribs and we shared some mashed potatoes. All was Mouthwatering.Why not? Place stays packed and no reservations leaves you at the bar in bar conversations, also kinda costly. Gratuity included.

Definitely a place to visit when you are in Chicago. Do NOT touch the hot plates! They are not kidding when they tell you this. It definitely helps with ensuring the steaks remain at the perfect temperature throughout the entire meal.

YES YES & YES my EXPERIENCE was AMAZING! It was my BIRTHDAY Dinner and it was so BEAUTIFUL!A ROYAL celebration for a QUEEN it was literally! Food, Drinks & Desert took my breathe away each and every bite! Staff and Waiters were so professional and pleasant AWESOME! The entire restaurant was very ELEGANT!My ONLY suggestion is that when customers call in to make reservations for dinner PLEASE inform them of $100 minimum per person requirement. I was unaware until I was seated and about to place order which was a little shocking & surprising!EVERYTHING was worth the money hands down!

Great service, food and atmosphere! Celebrated my Birthday here and even got a Birthday card and dessert on the house. I will be back!

One, there is a $100 per person minimum, but its really easy to hit that. Two, the dress code: there were people there in jeans, but they also were in button-ups and casual shoes, so its not STRICTLY enforced, but dont push it. Three, 18% gratuity is added to the check automatically. They told me it was on the website, but I must have missed it. Not that it mattered, the server definitely earned it. And yes, there is valet parking.All that out of the way, the food was fantastic. Theyre VERY flexible with the selections. Trust me and try the chicken fried lobster as an appetizer, and get the truffle baked potato as a side. The sides werent huge, but they were generous portions; the au gratin potatoes were enough to share, for example. The steaks were cooked perfectly. I definitely recommend the bone-in fillet, but they have others to chose from, some of the more expensive are off-menu. Ask to sit in Johns section. Hes an amazing server, very knowledgeable. We very much enjoyed our dining experience.

The absolute worst place Ive ever been. 100.00 minimum, even if you order a salad, PER PERSON. The service was worse than McDonalds.

I’m writing a review because Zsolt was the best waiter I’ve ever had. Z is the man. Honestly will be back next time I’m in Chicago just because this guy made sure we had an amazing experience. Make sure you request him when coming here.

良い雰囲気の、きちんとしたステーキハウスです。多分、普段から地元の方々が多く英語不自由な観光客のことなんて眼中無しって感じのトークでお肉の説明ひたすら行ってくれました。レアは苦手なのでミディアム・ウェルを何時も頼むのですが、あんまり無いオーダーらしく、何度も念を押されます。（写真はミディアム・ウェル。写真ではちょっと黒っぽく写っていますが上手く焼けていました。）ジャケットは着ていった方が良いでしょう。
