My favorite restaurant. hidden resto, authentic vietnamese cuisine.

Came here at around lunchtime, I’ve always wanted to try this place out they have a branch at solenad in sta rosa but choose the silang branch as I think this is their first branch. I came here about 2 years ago and thought the place was close. The place resembles a family home and turned to a resto, limited parking space underneath the dining area there is a small gate leading up the dining hall, once you enter the room you will see a portrait of the owners in thier younger state (very makaluma ) the hall was in plain white paint with accents of wood tables and chairs , a big antique mirror and cabinets; its very inviting and very relaxed. The tables and chairs on the floor can visually accommodate not more than 30-35 guest. Perfect for small family gathering but note that you cant just barge in as they have reservation. I came without one but was accommodated since it wasnt to busy. The food was of excellent quality i tried their traditional spring rolls and pho was really good but i wishes they used the flat wide rice noodles for it. The salad was something i havent tried it was refleshing and something i could eat all day long, my son had the pork belly was a bit fatty but was tender,so was the pig skin on it. Over all this place is a surprise although its hidden and far from the busy street it is worth the trip to look for when travelling to tagaytay or silang.

베트남 음식에 대한 기대치가 너무 높아서 그런지 별 다섯을 주기에는 약간 부족한 듯. 하지만 마닐라 근교에서 이 정도의 맛을 내는 베트남 음식점은 흔하지 않다.장소가 다소 외진 곳에 있어서 찾아오기가 쉽지 않다.

Before its branches in the city, Bawais was a hidden gem we come to tagaytay to visit and eat in. Ive always loved their spring rolls and tamarind prawns which is of good quality and taste.

Relaxing because of their quiet place and also their foods.
