Not sure about the food. Maybe its not just what Im used to since Im not a local of Luzon. Was very salty to me or just too much seasoning. But the view! TO DIE FOR. Love the gallery below. And the interior inside. Truly Batanes top tier place to visit for the special occasions.

Good food. Unfortunately, most items on the menu depends on the availability of the raw ingredients. Service slows when there is a sudden influx of patrons. Try the pork carne asada. It is the tastiest, most tender pork belly youll ever have, served with turmeric rice.

This is the place to be if you are looking for a 360 degree view of hills, beaches, greenery and blue hues of Batanes. Serenity and beauty at its finest, nature is left untouched for most of the area. It is worth the travel and worth the money. We didnt stay at the lodge but had the privilege to have lunch at Cafe du Tucon. Order the chocolate cake... It was SUPERB and the best one Ive tasted so far

Café du Tukon is next to the Fundacion Pacita Hotel. A stylish small restaurant with a nice view and a gallery in the 1st floor. The food isnt cheap but taste and quality is just amazing. We ate here 3 times and really enjoyed every dish. Here is no Wi-Fi and the mobile internet connection is bad but I really can recommend this Café/restaurant. Its the best restaurant I have been on Basco.

The place is really beautiful and refreshing. Can only accommodate a limited number of guests so reservations are required.Better to visit while the sun is still up for better appreciation of the Batanes landscape. Star gazing is also better here at night.Very expensive. No PWD ramp. CR is clean and artsy. Food is more than fine. Some of the staff are very cheerful.

The must see and must stay place in Batanes. We really enjoyed our stay here and everyone was so nice. They even went out of their way to prepare us packed breakfast at 4:45am so that we can catch the 5am mass and then go to Sabtang Island. The staff are so wonderful. The rooms had a great view of the Pacific Ocean and we even had a view of the Tayid Lighthouse from the Itaw Room where Pnoy stayed. The nighttime views of the stars are unforgettable.

It was indeed a nice experience staying at Fundacion Pacita. The view is breathtaking and the service of the staff is superb. The only problem is that it is far from the city wherein you can easily buy basic necessities. I think putting up a convenience store nearby could help. For experience, it is good to stay there for two days then move to the city for the remaining days of the vacation.

Its a nice place. Very famous by its name. However, the service at the restaurant was terrible and it really drags the customers satisfaction down. Awesome in so many ways: the natural environment is stupendous; the lodge is magnificent; the restaurant is artistically inspired and the food is great; the staff makes every effort to please. Fundacion Pacita really augments the whole Batanes experience. The history, beauty and ambiance of the whole place complements the breathtaking views and very personal service that the property offers. Fundacion Pacita provides the visual and in part the cultural energy to visitors of Batanes. The owner - the Abad family - has at its very core the late Ms. PACITA ABAD whose style and form of art is definitely unique and based on Ivatan folk art. This is echoed in the interiors of the Cafe du Tukon and quite surely the hotel. The cuisine is also based on gourmet dining infused with local cuisine elements. The location provides a breathtaking view of the rolling hills. What can be improved would be more parking areas especially for tourist vans. Some reading literature about the place while guests wait for their orders to be served. The customer interphase skills of its serving crew can also be given more training so that they are more proactive with the customer needs. They can act as brand ambassadors to talk about the gallery - another activity that can be done while the food is being prepared.

I was worried about the green painted walls of the only room that was available when I booked. Turned out the website photos did not do justice to the actual colour harmony so that was quite a relief, and honestly a very welcome surprise. The pocket gardens and secret sitting areas, water features, and the very well tended plants were a feast for the senses. The Cafe was very accommodating with requests for swaps (greens instead of rice) and the staff very kind. I just think the cashier person could use a bit more customer service training by getting up from her chair when answering a question or attending to a guest up front. She seemed too busy with her work (which might be better done at the back of the house if that were the case.) Even with that bit of a hiccup, I would give the restaurant a high rating. I tried as much of the Ivatan dishes and loved everything! I did have to order luñis to take away and that calamansi pie.Housekeeping: they should check back to see if the guests have taken down the DND sign during the day. We slept in a bit as our tour was scheduled in the afternoon. When we returned at night it was just the way we left it. Even so, the quick apology and the swift arrival of the cleaning team redeemed that situation.Overall, we loved the place and have already booked our way back next year.

Their food was great but pricey. What I REALLY liked about this place is that they serve brewed coffee and cake!! Huzzah!! It was a refreshing break from our daily 3-in-1 coffee -- which is what is mostly available in almost ALL the restaurants in Batanes. The view from their restaurant is great as well but the garden and the gallery (not sure) is available only for those who are checked in so thats a bummer!

I could not imagine staying anywhere else. The room itself was fantastic. We loved our stay here and made sure we spent a full day really soaking in the views the room had to offer. The service we received was of such a high standard.
