The trail to the main overlook is handicap accessible. Remaining trails in the park are great for a moderate hike.

I ran the Baldy Dune Trail to the scenic overlook as a warmup. Just over 2.5 miles and then headed over to the St. Pierre Trailhead and spent a couple of hours running in a winter wonderland. It was gorgeous, and I was the only person on the trail. The perfect solitude and mind-clearing run that I needed.

I have it all to myself today. Beautiful

If its almost time for the sun to set, I would highly recommend you try to make a point of stopping here to check out the stunning view as well as to watch the sun disappear into the lake!!!

Stopped here on the way south from Sleeping Bear dunes. This feels far removed from the tourist-packed peninsula. A gem off the beaten path.
