Wir haben nur das Restaurant getestet und dieses ist definitiv zu empfehlen. Es gibt eine umfangreiche Karte mit Klassikern sowie etwas ausgefalleneren Kreationen. Alles schmeckte frisch und die Bedienungen waren ebenfalls sehr freundlich.

My wife is a Filipina so every few years we travel to the Philippines to visit her family in Luzon then to another island for vacation. Despite high reviews for previous resort selections, my wife and I have been disappointed with our selections for various reasons. Sometimes the resort does not meet our expectations and sometimes it’s the resort area. We were delighted to find that Island View exceeded our expectations. In fact, my wife had tears in her eyes when we left because she enjoyed her stay so much she didn’t want to leave. Me too.The resort and Anda Province, where it is located, are beautiful. Combine that with first rate service and delicious meal options, we fell in love with the place. It’s apparent by the actions of the owner and staff that they want your stay to be special from the moment you arrive until you leave. We were greeted by the owner and about 1/2 dozen staff when we arrived and similarly bid farewell when we departed.The staff are professional in that they are always dressed in clean pressed uniforms, polite, friendly, and helpful. The grounds are covered with palm trees, flowering plants, and ponds like the dragonfly pond. The rooms and restaurant face the sea and the view is spectacular. Very calm, peaceful, nicely landscaped, room was nicely set up, right literally with my door facing the white sand beach. Breakfast was wonderful. They actually bring out ALL our food at the SAME time. Virtually an unheard of practice in the Philippines. Most Filipino restaurants bring out your order piecemeal, one thing at a time. Everyone ends up eating by themselves on separate schedules. Quite unprofessional & aggravating. Thank goodness Island View Beachfront Resort is professionally managed by a team with international exposure and is a classy operation. The food was good. The server Micai actually checked on our table and, I was pleasantly surprised, kept our table bussed and clear of dirty dishes. Another sign of proper professional management. A rarity among Filipino resorts unless managed by a professional team with international exposure & training. Quite refreshing and appreciated. The Sewell family will award the Island View Beachfront Resort with 5 Stars without reservation & mark it as a favorite on Google Maps.

Nous avons tout apprécié dans cet hôtel. Un personnel de qualité, toujours à lécoute, très professionnel et dune extrême gentillesse. La cave à vins de très grande qualité de Peter, le dirigeant.. Nous devions rester deux semaines. Nous avons dû écourter en urgence notre séjour car les liaisons internes étaient annulées les une après les autres et cest le personnel de lhôtel qui cest chargé de réserver deux billets pour le dernier ferry en partance pour CEBU. Sans eux, nous serions comme des centaines de français encore bloqués aux Philippines. Nous reviendrons dans ce bel hôtel.

Pasamos unos días de nuestra luna de miel y la experiencia fue 100% recomendable. El dueño Peter muy atento y Johanne encantadora. La carta completisima, probamos diferentes platos tanto locales como occidentales y estaba todo buenisimo. El resort está muy bien cuidado, limpio y ofrecen dif. actividades. La ubicación es fantástica, hay mucha tranquilidad y el personal es muy agradable.

We had an awesome lunch at the Island View Beachfront Bar! The pork belly was incredible and our server Jenie was very attentive to our needs making our visit a delight.

Well where do I start - second time in Bohol. But this time I didn’t want to stay In panglao. We decided on island view because of the lovely reviews I read. I’ve been to 57 countries and have stayed in hundreds of hotels. So This could be informative if you’re looking to book this hotel. The property is immaculate. The rooms are very clean, house keeping cleans rooms daily. The pool is perfect!! It actually makes the hotel worth while. The beach is great if your looking to relax or snorkel or dive. The hotel has its own dive shop which is also immaculate, and professional. 2000 peso per dive (40 usd) not a bad deal. The owner greeted us as soon as we walked in, he’s on the premises 24/7 which is nice because you can see he cares about his business. If you’re a wine lover this is the place to be. Huge selection of wines. The restaurant is pretty good. As a chef myself you don’t expect much but the food was a 3 out of 5. I think the cooks need to learn how to season properly because everything was very bland. The best sunset in all of Bohol. I’m convinced there’s no better sunset on the island then from this property. And probably one of the best in the Philippines. If you’re a sucker for a good sunrise and sunset because you get both here I would stay here. The downside is the WiFi- very finicky on and off. Downside is you are two hours away from Panglao and there is nothing to do in Anda. Relax and Unwind

Beautiful resort for a day as a walk in, really nice swimming pool and beach. We had to wait really long to be served at the restaurant but the food was ok.

The hotel location is superb, fronting onto a coral lagoon, with beautiful views from rooms, dining and bar areas. The view of the sunset was spectacular. The gardens are beautiful and a real surprise, with a lot of bird life. Staff are very friendly and attentive. The menu is well selected and delicious, with a good range of choices, including vegan, and fresh, locally caught, fish is an outstanding feature. Our room was very clean and comfortable, but was showing a few signs of wear and could do with some attention to detail to improve the standard to match the price tag.

A great place to unwind away from bustling city. The place is even more upgrading. Great food. Great rooms. Great pool. Great view. Great service. We will definitely come back.

Loved that its quiet and secluded. View is awesome. Resort offers a variety in food and drinks. Coffee is great! Staff are polite and offer service with a smile. Just wished we had more time to enjoy the place but we were in Bohol primarily to attend a fiesta.

Quiet place, nice beach, infinity pool, free kayaking, good friendly staff. Excellent resort if you want quiet time together with family or loved ones. Restaurant food is decent. The American-style beef pot roast is a must try. Overall we had a good pleasant 3 night stay there.

Tagbilaran-Anda Public Mini Bus at Main Terminal provides convenient drop-off at resort. All 8 units have sea views. Fantastic infinity warm water swimming pool - one of the best we have ever experienced. Padded Chaise Lounges. Set in a beautiful shady tropical garden. Good value & tasty restaurant meals on site. Separate Open Air Bar overlooks beach front. Staff & Manager Jhonna very warm, friendly & accommodating. Excellent Internet. Very efficiently run resort, tidy, clean, well maintained. Peaceful, isolated, romantic getaway ideal for couples. No Beachfront Vendors / Hawkers. Personally we enjoyed a 3 mile low tide walk into Anda each morning, a neat clean friendly town with a beautiful shady Beach Park. We wouldnt hesitate a return visit.

Had an excellent few days at this resort in March. Service was extremely friendly at all levels, and made us feel welcome and well cared for, accommodating every request with a smile. Due to the small size and somewhat secluded location, the resort feels very private and quiet. Rooms are spacious and light, all with a private balcony. As seems to be the case in many hotels in the Philippines, bathroom amenities are limited. The restaurant is very reasonably priced and offers a wide range of delicious Filipino and international dishes. Theres also an option of BBQ grilled seafood. The Beach isnt very wide (at high tide), but has nice white sand and offers some opportunities for easy snorkeling (Underwater shoes are recommended b/c of sea urchins). Its also possible to walk along the coast to Anda city at low tide. We also rented a scooter (600P/day) to explore the nearby area (rice terraces, cave pools etc).Highly recommended for anybody seeking a more quiet resort experience.

This place is a paradise. Probably the best hotel we have been in the Philippines. We only stayed for 4 days but we wish we could have stayed much longer.The location is perfect, on a small, white sandy beach - that we basically had it all for ourselves. Sunsets are amazing.The staff is lovely, the food at the restaurant is delicious. The hotel is quite and discrete, so its great if you are looking for a place to relax. Rooms are big, nicely decorated and clean. They have a patio and deck chairs in a lovely tropical garden. We truly loved this place and couldnt recommend this enough. They also organised snorkelling for us and that was great.This place was a highlight of our trip and wed love to come back one day! Id recommend this to anyone travelling to the Philippines. ts a hidden gem and we hope it will stay like this :)

Absolutely the best in Anda. So quiet and gorgeous place. Staffs are very kind and helpful. Everything in room works perfect. Room was clean and bed is comfy. Hot water runs well. Pool is nice. Beach in front of the resort is nice and super quiet.Cons: it’s bit hard to get here. Bumpy road...argh! And when you get in, everything you need is here so you just don’t want to go out and explore.

Checked in and experienced that wow feeling. This place is seriously close to paradise. Delightful tropical gardens, a huge pool, and most importantly, the white sand beach right there - a couple of steps away.And its quiet! - such a relief to find after the noise, traffic and grime of my previous weeks travel in the Philippines. Theres lots of nature to see here - birdlife, trees, coral reef for snorkling or paddling, nice walk along the beach to Anda. It also feels really safe - a friendly neighborhood. Im not really a bar person but I liked the relaxed and attractive garden bar that guests seemed to eat dinner in, as as an alternative to the restaurant in main building. Nights are super quiet here, which was really appreciated - I could catch up on some sleep.

Very small secluded resort, very quiet. Staff very helpful in all respects. Good choice of food. Forty mins walk into town or ten mins on tricycle. Room large with comfortable bed and very clean. Not for those wanting to be entertained. Excellent value, the best resort that we have stayed in, would definitly return.

Island View is a very pleasant seaside hotel on the beautiful and quiet Anda beach. Rooms are of a decent size and have all the requisite facilities expected of this standard of hotel, although some of the furniture and construction are not of the highest quality. Hotel location is great if you are looking for peace - you step out from the hotel grounds straight onto the beach. Note, the hotel is quite isolated (apart from a few similar resort hotels nearby) down a bumpy track from the main road and around 3 km from the nearest small town. If you dont fancy the beach, the hotel has a large swimming pool.Staff were universally excellent, always efficient, willing to help and extremely friendly. Owner/manager was generally present to ensure all was running smoothly. Breakfasts were good, dinners rather less so, a common failing in the Philippines!Overall, Island View is a great option if you want to experience the peace and beauty of Anda.

We had six nights here and found it a very enjoyable experience, everything just as described. We had THE BEST fish tacos with jicama coleslaw wrapped in home made tortillas for lunch, and moist omelettes, pancakes and cinnamon french toast for breakfasts. The employees are very nice and try to make your wishes come true.

Island View Resort is the perfect venue to hibernate, to relax and chill with family. We deserved to have quiet times in our lives and to enjoy

In a quiet location beside a beautiful white sand beach. The town itself is very charming and there are nearby cave pools to explore. The Island View has character, charm, and personality. In summary a great place to relax and let the rest of the world go by.

I spent one night at Island View Beachfront resort (IVBR), w my wife & son. Peter the proprietor did a meet & greet the next morning as we were checking out. An Australian and a pleasant chap. We had first gone to Casa Amihan Resort (CAR). Casa Amihan was not properly staffed. We barely managed dinner at CAR. We could not book a room because at CAR the same lady was waiting on tables and doing the check in. We left CAR to get a room at IVBR. IVBR was properly staffed and properly managed. You can tell when a resort is properly operated. Six staff escorted us to our room carrying our luggage. When we checked out several staff carried our bags to the truck. My only problem with IVBR was having to check out. I could stay there a month.

We had the pleasure of staying at Island View Beachfront Resort in March 2015 and had the most wonderful stay. Thanks to Island View staff especially Peter the owner and Joanne who definitely knows how to run the show. The staff here are wonderfulvery attentive and pay attention to detail.

White coral sand with safe swimming and great just to stroll *****. Swimming from the beach can only really be done at high tide and the Resort provides swim shoes which was a nice touch as there are reefs close to shore. Try the scampi with coco which really was fantastic.

Beautiful location, the pool and the fauna all set you up for a relaxing stay, right on the beach with lovely white sand and clear blue seas.

Tony and Joanne were outstanding hosts from the airport pick to the farewell departure. The location was a little difficult to find at night, but we ***aged. I find it unfathomable how anyone who has taken a biology lesson or understands nature could possibly find fault with the environment.

Geniales Hotel, super Essen, sehr freundliches Personal. Lage direkt am Strand, aber etwas abgelegen. Zu Fuss erreicht man Anda Beach in etwa 35 Minuten und der Fussmarsch ist sehr angenehm. Die Zimmer sind mit kostenlosem WLAN ausgestattet. Extrem grosse und moderne Zimmer, super Betten, alles sehr sauber und gepflegt. Eines der schönsten Hotels auf unserer Reise durch die Philippinen. Kostenlose Kanus stehen zur Verfügung.

It was difficult to leave

The owner offers some meals in the restaurant for affordable prices. The rooms are all essentially brand new and in very good condition. You can swim in the pool all day, but have to wait until end of the day to swim in the sea because of shallow water.

Could not possibly be a nicer resort in a more secluded beachfront property anywhere in Bohol
