Room key didnt work. Called. We were asked to go back down to lobby. Came back up and connecting room door wasnt open. Had to request help for this. Requested a crib before coming. Wasnt ready upon arrival. All these issues were resolved and overall we are pleased with our stay but for the price and name brand Intercontinental I would expect much higher standards.
The service at the hotel was exceptional: the place was immaculately clean and the staff very welcoming and helpful to me and my son. The rooms were pristine and the beds luxurious; the food provided at breakfast was superb. I would strongly advise anyone to stay at the Intercontinental. It is an experience you will undoubtedly enjoy.

The rooms air conditioner would no effectively cool my room to my desired temperature. On the 3rd complaint, a technician came to my room to evaluate the working condition of the air conditioner. Hes words were, Ill set your room to a lower temperature - meaning there is some sort master control that pretty much makes the thermostat on the wall just a decorative piece. When he measured the temperature it was 23.5-24.0 C. The bed comforter is all or nothing. It was too hot to keep on, but the room was just a bit too cool (at night, while sleeping) to remove the comforter. The beds need to be flipped and rotated more. I felt like I was sleeping on a angle.
All in all was good. Breakfast buffet was very good, all food was behind a barrier due to COVID. stuff was extremely helpful especially Farid .
Most things about this hotel are excellent. Staff, courtesy, food quality, breakfast, cleanliness and professionalism.Room quality needs improvement. Room temp adjustment is impossible!, so sleep quality is affected. Shower pressure is the the worst I have experienced so far, and I have travelled around the world.
