I Have given a 5 star rating because this hotel deserves it!! I was a guest for 3 nights , in Sept. 2019. The front desk staff was great professional friendly and very nice. My room was clean and comfortable with a small fridge even a microwave! They also have direct T.V. lots of channels. I am a single female and felt totally safe. It was nice being able to have my car parked close too. I dont think there is a better deal out there,very reasonable. Definitely recommend and will be a guest next trip to Albuquerque!!!

Called to book a 12 week extended stay in February 2020. Spoke with Abraham. He is a very friendly professional young man. Booking was easy and they gave me a great extended stay rate. Thing are looking good. I will update my review and add photos as my stay progresses.

Very convenient location for where I needed to be - the area is a bit unsafe but the hotel has security onsite the whole time we were there which gave me peace of mind

Locally owned by a great guy who really cares about guests. Nice room with a fridge, microwave and kitchen. Priced very well compared to comparable hotels. Child-friendly. Terrific staff. Park-like area, with Gazebo. Pool, in summer. ️

They kept my deposit and never refunded me for a bight I left early due to police issues with another tenant and I been calling for days no response not happy

Supposedly fresh linens are old, stained and frayed. No safe in room. No recognition of diamond status. stairs deteriorating to the point of collapsing.

Got a queen bed instead of two; it was a good bed. Room was fairly clean and nicely remodeled. Lady at check-in was sweet and accommodating. Room smelled faintly of smoke even though every room in the building was advertised as non-smoking. Biggest issue was the fact that there were two police cars in the parking lot of the other building when we pulled in after having dinner & going to a movie. Guess that isnt the hotels fault and at least they DID call the police; just made us uncomfortable about being in that part of town.

Frustration because Ive sometimes got to buy toilet paper, and on top of that Ive been in my room for well over two months, Im obviously a long term guest. I have a ten month old and the room I have is perfect for my husband , baby and me, everyday I have to deal with the constant Hassel of them asking me to down grade my room! This started happening about two weeks ago, now u see the state Fair is in town and I understand buisness they explained to me they need to sell my room to the fair crowd people who pay by the week,now if that was the case in the first place how did I even get this room.? I dont believe its good buisness to change ur rules aRound just cuz there is an event, and treat loyal customer s like vagrants, and push them to the side, you would think they would like me to be in this room cuz there making more money, by me paying everyday than if I paid by the week. Things that make u go mmmmn,

The place is run down. The cable was out for days at a time as was the wifi.....lights shorting out. The range in the kitchenette constantly malfunctioned. I was unable to get anuthing fixed. And noisy,

The odor in the room stuck in our things even though it was only in the room for about 15 min. I book this place because it was supposed to have a gym. It had two treadmills but neither was working. As soon as I checked out the room and gym I went back to the office . They wanted me to be happy and offered to refund my money. They explained that they were going through renovations but they shouldnt even be offering these rooms.

Not happy with thievery. Liked being close to job. Ice machine broke. Took 4 months to put on a roof. Been working on office for a month and not even closr to being done. Put up a waste my time gate. If u dont mind staying at a hotel that has some sort of constant construction and confusion, this is ur place. That being said, pretty accommodating to the construction workers. We stay at surburban hotel at other place in same town. It was up to date, room were bug free and clean, they continental breakfast available in morning. I guess not all hotel are alike.

Kinda started of bad, property list as Suburban stay but office that indicated was closed. Office next door was for Roadway Inn. This was the office as the property was changing names. No indication that was the correct office until entered an saw front desk uniform stating Suburban property. Room was ok however a few problems since was a no smoking room and checkin required me to initial that I understood that 90% of rooms were non smoking since I requested a non smooking room. Arrived at room as smelled of cigarette smoke. Direct TV reciever was unplugged and seemed remote did not work. Disconnected additional IR Sensor as it didnt work so then had to then pointed remote at enterance door to use remote. Toilet seat was very loose an had to hand tighten bolts to prevent sliding. Tub was very slippery and plumbing there was very wobbly. As I was going to shave i noticed a large pile of ciggarette ash on towel bar over sink where someone had laid cigarette. Mentioned to front desk and just got apology when also mentioned initail on checkin for nonsmm.king room.

Great price. Pets stay only $10 per night. Good location for a one night stay being very close to I 40. Breakfasts was a joke though and some of the place was very run down.

This hotel was clean and my son enjoyed everything but the breakfast. The breakfast was terrible! The hotel only had 2 items and called it a continental breakfast!!! Although the breakfast variety was the worst, the taste was ok. The room was good but the hair dryer did not work.

Our family decided to stay here during a short visit to ABQ. We chose this location due to good things a family friend who lived in the area had told my spouse. During the duration we were very happy with our entire stay and the spacious rooms made it much nicer. Inside the rooms the utilities are decently up to date and the rooms have nice modern style. There are different option as far as extended stay rooms are concerned and after viewing the different options we went with one of the larger ones. Not much of a price increase and a whole extra room! This hotel is also placed off of Tramway, which is the main road leading to the Tram. If this is one of the reasons you are visiting ABQ(as it was for us) this is definitely a good option.

We have been staying at this hotel since before it was branded Suburban/Rodeway. This stay was 7 days. The management has been steadily improving the facility and grounds, renovating rooms and amenities. The location is ideal for any activities on the east side of town. The staff is responsive to complaints and they try to address them promptly. I would rate excellent except to account for a few inexperienced staff and the incomplete renovations, but no mistake, this is a good deal.

We stayed her for a couple nights. It was a delightful experience overall. The staff was nice and friendly. The room was spacious with: a full size refrigerator, microwave oven, and solid stovetop and utensils. Our room was clean with nothing notable that detoured us from our stay and though it is nothing fancy, it serves the purpose. The beds were very comfortable and better than a luxury hotel we had recently stayed in earlier in our trip. Older property in an older part of town but our stay was quiet and we had no problems. I would certainly stay again because it was convenient and clean, especially when considering the great price! It is also located very close to the freeway, a movie theater, and tons of places to eat.

Chose this hotel over others similarly priced due to nice breakfast shown in the photos. False advertising. Breakfast consisted of a pastry (limit one) and coffee. Room had two weak lamps, one of which did not work. Coffee maker was missing the pot. Very disappointing

This place has been a pleasant surprise. The wifi is very good and for being right off the freeway its surprisingly quiet. The courtyard is very well kept and the gazebo and grill are ready for some folks to enjoy.

Did not get what was advertised and was initially very upset and disappointed but the staff is wonderful and do their best to accommodate you within their means. Long term guests that have learned to acclimate and appreciate staff efforts

Nice friendly place! Terrific pool and a nice lady let my sons feed and pet the turtles that are in the pond at the park area. Now 3 days later, they are still talking about those turtles. lol Thanks Rodeway Suburban for a memorable stay.

Stayed here for about a week during a family event. Nice little room equipped with a solid kitchenette that made my stay convenient. Was only about $30 a night which was awesome and when combined with buying and cooking my own food I was able to save myself a lot of money. The property is unique as well with a grilling area, gazebo, turtle fountain and outdoor pool. Spa was closed the first half of my stay but luckily was fixed the last two days which was nice to enjoy before I left.

Went here because it was cheap and still included a hot breakfast. Room wasnt very clean and the breakfast was a joke. They only had 1 type of pastry, no plates to eat pastry and couldnt get any coffee bc there werent any cups. Apparently the solution to no plates was to have a sign that says 1 pastry per person.

Was nice & secure. Breakfast was not good. Nothing but a pastry.

Stayed here due to competitive rates and good reviews. Front desk staff was very accommodating with our requests, on site security was reassuring to see, and the rooms were comfortable & clean. We could tell this hotel has been under some renovations to modernize and it still needs a little more but for what it was, we were happy and would stay here again. The outdoor pool and park area were also worth mentioning and this hotel seems to be a good longterm stay during the warmer months. If youre thinking about staying here, why not?

Very spacious double room with a nice kitchen. Couldn’t beat the price and I have stayed at the other Suburban Extended Stay that is near this one and I would definitely attest that this is the more superior hotel. I was also impressed with the customer service and their willingness to help me in a timely fashion when I needed extra pillows and toiletry items is a huge reason I took the time to write this review.Great Experience!

I was shocked to see that the old hotel had been renovated into this very cozy home away from home living, the Suburban Extended Stay Hotel. I rented an efficiency for a week. It was nice having a kitchenette. When I decide I wanted a little more space, within hours I was able to move into one of their suites. Management and the staff were awesome to help accommodate my needs. The grounds are well kept up. I have enjoyed the breakfast every morning, sitting by the waterfall, the pool and the hot tub. What else could I ask for??!!!

Great spacious rooms with a nice little kitchen that has everything you need to make a good meal! The front desk went above and beyond for me which is a huge reason I am taking the time to write this review. I would certainly stay here again and I wish there were more places like this property. Too often extended stay hotels end up being a regret of mine but this once exceeded my expectations. Definitely a very quaint and homely feeling.

Great hotel for either a short or extended stay! We have stayed here on several occasions, even once for five months when moving to the area and looking for a home, and have been very satisfied with the rooms that we have had each time. The rooms have each had a kitchen area with stovetop, microwave, and sink. The hotel is super close to grocery stores and restaurants so it is easy to bring food back to the hotel to prepare and eat. The hotel staff and management are always helpful and friendly and have always taken the time to help us with any maintenance issues. There are monitored entries and a security guard on the premises so I have always been comfortable staying at the hotel knowing that our vehicles will be safe. The rates have always been very good and their extended stay rates are much lower than other places that we looked into. I would definitely recommend this hotel when staying in Albuquerque.

The front desk person was great both check in and in the morning. The area was a little sketchy but they had a security guard who kept an eye on the trailer I was hauling and I slept well and felt safe

We have stayed at this location two weeks at a time for several years since they began accommodating long term stays with weekly rates. Every year has shown steady improvements in the rooms and grounds. Most notably, they have on-site active security. Since they are pet-friendly, this is a comfort when making a midnight dog walk, and my wife felt safe the entire time. The place is well maintained and staff is friendly and responsive. The location is very convenient to anything in eastern Albuquerque with convenient access to I40. Well be back next year.

Employee wanted me to take smaller room than I reserved, and I had to come back to check in a couple hours after the 3 pm check-in time and room still wasnt ready. So noisy with another guest walking around in the upstairs room all night I couldnt sleep, and could clearly hear people talking as they walked outside the room. This motel could not have been built more cheaply. Bathtub but couldnt take a bath because no stopper - only shower. Overly bright and noisy fan switch for bathroom.

Online I reserved Suburban extended stay. When we checked in it was Rodeway Inn and Suburban extended stay. When we got to the room we were put in a Rodeway Inn room. Nowhere to cook food, no plates, no silverware. Multiple Cigarette Burn Marks in sheets, bedspreads! Bathroom floor corners hair -not cleaned. Worst experience! We left the next morning and went across town to a beautiful motel.

I have some friends who like to stay here when they pass through. I got stuck on that side of town one night and decided, why not. I was very impressed with the customer service at this hotel. The room was even better. I didnt expect to get an upgrade. Thanks! I would recommend this hotel to anyone passing through or simply cause they need a place to sta6 for the night.

Preis-Leistung absolut okay. Wir hatten Zimmer 104 auf der Suburban-Seite. Im Zimmer gab es eine Küchenzeile (2 Kochplatten, große Mikrowelle Kühl- und Gefrierschrank) und sogar eine Grundausstattung an Geschirr und Besteck. Bett war sehr groß und sauber. Bad ebenfalls sauber. Den Pool haben wir zwar nicht benutzt, aber gegenüber manch anderem Motel schien auch dieser recht gepflegt. Whirlpool war leider außer Betrieb. Für die Durchreise absolut okay.

This place has a beautiful property and friendly staff!! The rates are affordable and it is conviently placed next to a movie theater, subway, sprouts, and smiths. We will definitely find ourselves staying here again and you shouldnt hesitate to check it out if you get the chance! They even have a park with a waterfall and turtles!

Had to stop in Albuquerque at the last minute. Room was affordable but everything was worn and needing replaced. Bed not comfortable and linens smelled like cheap bleach. Front desk lady was very nice and check in was fast.

You get what you pay for: no hot water at the sink, TV doesnt work, the heater did not shut down automatically so it was either hot or cold

The hotel served the purpose. A moderately cheap place to stay with a kitchen. The grocery store within walking distance was a definite plus. The room smelled musty, but I could deal with it. I never had trouble sleeping as the bed was comfortable enough. My room was missing dishes, that never got resolved. Beyond that issue, I was mostly happy with my stay.

Right off of the freeway and certainly a very nice place for an affordable price. The front desk staff was very friendly and helped us find a good place to eat in the morning before we continued on our way. Nothing spectacular but a decent place.

Non Smoking rooms are Smoking Rooms! No choice but to stay. Very Dirty and blood stains on the chair. Slept with one eye open. Never Again!

Stayed at this hotel a few years back and was not overly impressed. Decided to give it a second try due to the convenient location, and can say that the hotel has undergone some great improvements from the last time I stayed all the way down to the WiFi.

The lobby was uninviting, waited long time to get served, room dingy & dark, room numbers unreadable unless you walk right up to idoor, cigarette burns in bedspreads, badly stained carpet, holes in in tiles by the grab bar, toilet flush lever loose and malfunctioning, no shampoo or soap in shower,. No coffee, Furniture sticky and dilapidated, pay extra for room service,. Description says breakfast included, but that was not true either. This motel deserves negative stars.

I can not say enough good things about my stay here. The entire staff, particularly, the GM, were incredible. We arrived with no notice and were personally shown a number of different rooms and the room we chose was configured to meet our desires. We very happily stayed for nearly a month. There is a good continental breakfast, free wi-fi, a pool, rooms with a separate bedroom and kitchen, and etc. If you are looking for an extended stay hotel I cannot recommend this place highly enough.

Service by the the staff, namely Theresa and Scotty, went beyond their duties to assist me during my stay. Very friendly and helpful in assistance when I checked in with wrong dates and also had a dead battery on my car

Very ghetto, very nasty. First night we stayed I got a bunch of really bad bites that swelled up bigger than golf balls. Turns out the mattress was infested with bed bugs. The lady at the front desk was very nice and helpful after I told her about the situation, but needless to say, it was a very negative experience.

This hotel met expectations when based on previous experiences with the brand and we had a pleasant stay. Rooms were decently sized and came well equipped. We would stay again.

When we arrived at the hotel it it was in a secluded area in a bad neighborhood. We were afraid to stay there so we found other accommodations. the area was not safe with the hotel being so secluded in the rear of other buildings it was dark and we just felt it would not be safe coming and going to the hotel. At the entrance of the drive way there were people milling around asking for money.

The rooms are full of roachs. The pool was shut down by the health department. All the equipment in the fitness center is broken. They have one washer that comes on but the spin cycle doesnt work .There is no hot tub.they dont give you the free breakfast like they advertise.they do give you WiFi but most of the time its down and when it does work its slower than dial up..They dont give you anything they advertise and they dont give you what you are paying for

Our room was dirty. Like dirt on the floor dirty. I saw three live cockroaches. The fridge was big and there was a stove and a sink and a large shower. The silverware and dishes were ok but I washed em again just in case. There were quite a few people living there and they were rough looking. Not a bad part of town but not a good part either. Breakfast in the am was coffee, oatmeal, and packaged pastries. Probably wouldnt stay there again.

This place has tremendous potential. They were renovating a little during my stay resulting in my condition rating.

No wake-up call; never sent additional pillow after 5PM as housekeeping was closed and no one else has a key apparently. They apparently couldnt find the key for the next 3 days as we never got an extra pillow; just bought one from Wal Mart.Room was nice and it is pet friendly except they were spraying weed killer in the area where we were supposed to walk the dogs and we got yelled at by the security guard when we walked them closer to the office. But were not going to expose the dogs to weed killer and we told the security dude that.

Overall, this is a great value and we greatly appreciate the overnight on site security. The hotel is pet-friendly and an affordable value to frequent travelers. Great location in East Albq with easy access to I-40, markets, and dining.

Overall, we had a very good experience staying at this hotel. Friendly staff, clean rooms, and though the breakfast was simple, they had all the essentials. A mid quality hotel at affordable price.
