Absolutely unbelievable choice, not just whiskeys either but gins, vodka, ports, wines, brandies, you name it and they have it and ten more you must try!

I love this place. It sells very high quality whiskey, wine, brandy, various gins, even drinkable tequila (I kid you not). You can generally try the spirits before you buy which is a massive bonus as you can try different whiskies side by side to appreciate the difference. They also do wine tastings every month. Cant recommend enough.

Cannot recommend highly enough. Excellent selection, amazing vintages too, especially if you like Bordeaux and Burgundy! Started buying from them last year upon the recommendation of a friend who lives locally, always superb customer service and a truly personalised approach. At first glance, the store front appears to be nothing out of the ordinary for the typical type of local house or small store. However that initial presumption is shot down in flames the second you walk inside, to be greeted by racks of alcoholic drinks stacked floor to ceiling!This alone would be quite the surprise, but then you realise that every room has its own specific type of drink. Although packed, they are manageable even for walking stick users like myself, but as a regular wheelchair user I was amazed at the staff’s ability to accommodate any requests if possible.The store is split into a number of rooms such as the “Gin Selection”(wife and her Aussie sister’s favourite bar none), “Whisky Collection” Aussie BIL, FIL et al plus myself of course) with whiskys from around the world split into two rooms plus a tasting area! Prices can go from a fairly basic £35 ($45) all the way up to a couple of thousand £2,000 plus (2,600 and higher) although they unsurprisingly don’t offer general public like myself getting a taste test! It’s just as well as they’d have a permanent queue of “tasters” waiting for the store to open every morning!The staff are very knowledgeable about many of the drinks they sell, despite the incredibly large selection and I trust them when they suggest something I might not have tried before.I could go on singing the praises of the staff and wishing I could give them an eleven star rating, but I prefer to suggest that if you’re ever in the area, visiting the model that God used for the Garden of Eden*, that you call in to the Wright Wine Company and have a look, and talk to the staff (they rarely do the helicopter routine, and leave it up to the customer to ask for stuff. As the building is surprisingly spacious you should know that the staff will never be more than a few yards away.*just in case you were curious about my comment I feel I should explain that I’m a full blown Yorkshireman. It’s a bit like being a really proud Texan, except being a Tyke aka Yorkshireman is considerably better by far, not only that but we’re modest as well!!!

Possibly the best wine (and whisky...and gin) shop in the world. Competitive prices, huge stock, friendly, approachable and knowledgeable staff, monthly wine tasting and so on. Youd be daft to buy your booze anywhere else.

Excellent place with a wide selection of wines and spirits, a whiky room and a Gin room. They also sell a good selection of Havana cigars. Very knowledgeable staff, able to guide you, no matter your budget. Definitely worth a visit

This shop had a wonderfull selection, atgthough not exactly in the center of town it was reasonably easy to find. The staff are extremely friendly and happy to help. Some of the selections are quite pricy but I expect that is reflected in the taste.PS. If you are over 6ft you might need to duck in places

Cracking shop with a massive selection of wine, gins & whisky. Spent a while browsing before purchasing a very reasonable price bottle. Will deffinately go again when in the area. Bonus is theyre online as well.
