I booked my trip on IHG for an estimated 277 ”items” about a day or two before the trip. We arrived and a fairly snobby receptionist halfway greeted us and I told her I had a reservation and the total ended up being 100 “items” more than what the estimate was. That didn’t really bother me, as I thought I was going to have a good experience. We get our room keys and go up to the room. The elevator was blowing hot air in our face and felt like it was hanging by a thread. Our door handles were gross and half of the lights in our room took 2-3 minutes to come on after we flipped the switch. The A/C was not working well. There was toilet paper jammed into the fisheye lens of the door. Our door didn’t lock unless we used all of our force to slam the door shut. we figured that out after we came back from going to go see tulsa. Overall, not worth what it cost. (I can’t say because their “guidelines” do not allow specific pricing information.)

We arrived a little bit early and hoped for an early check in, but they were busy so no dice on that...no big deal. After I finally found someone in the lobby I was told that check in was at 3 so we left and found something to do for a while. When we returned back at 3 we were told that our room was not ready and when we asked about a time when it would be ready they said they didnt know. Im not sure what was going on for the FOUR hours between check out and check in, but I guess it wasnt cleaning our room. The guy behind the desk certainly had time to sit in that office and eat his apple... We finally got in to our room about an hour late and the housekeeping staff member was still in the room, but was finishing up. You could really tell that she was busting her rear to get it done and was very pleasant so I wish I would have gotten her name. This process needs to be shored up because it is VERY irritating after a long trip (especially with a 4 year old) to not be able to get in and settled. At least offer me a bottle of water or a piece of candy for the little one to keep her happy. I am not looking for anything out of sending this review other than for this hotel to acknowledge the problem and address how they are going to fix it going forward. On a positive note...the hotel is in a cool little area of town with some nice attractions and restaurants within walking distance. The restaurant next door was phenominal!

Lovely staff, all employees wore masks and stayed safe. The room was nice just had some downfalls, the microwave didn’t cook right, the secondary lock on our door was hanging off the wall a tiny bit, it did still work however, and the bed has a little dent on the right side. But other than that everyone was friendly it was overall a good experience.

I enjoy traveling with the kids to see the sites of this country. This Holiday Inn express has made up my mind that the hotel I will look into first when traveling is a HolidayInn. The staff where very supportive, kind and always available. The hotel itself was so clean and had an overall wonderful energy around it. I could have very happily spend one of our days just at the hotel, lol.

I drove over four hours and had chose the property on how clean it looked online. Upon arrival the front desk ask about upgrading at no extra cost from a double to a single king suite which was breath taking! So comfortable the entire time I stayed and the beds were a dream to sleep in!! Highly recommend this to anyone looking for a great hotel experience and an amazing view over the river!

Got room to watch fireworks from the room.when booking said it was 2 queens river view room so i booked it over getting a king because the king did not say river view room. Upon check in i asked her if it was a riverview room & she said it was. Upon entering the room it was NOT riverwiew. Checked with Donna who said they try to grante requests like riverview but can not always do..i showed her my reservation papers where it listed 2 queens riverview room. Not that was an option as she said it was an option. This is deitful on your part. She said there was nothing she could do but check.us out. On a holiday what would be available. Again poor on your part. We noted a riverview window at end of hallway so we set up chairs there & watched fireworks. That saved it. But the room should of been discounted for the representation. 2nd TV signal would fade in & out visually. There was no weather problems. 3rd it was a cold breakfast but a pancake maker was sitting there. Would of been nice to have one hot item...

Great price for a decent stay, plus a hot breakfast and had the pool to ourselves. We stayed in the 1 bedroom king with a pull out couch and river view. I highly advise just getting two beds, the pull out couch was not fun. The room did have a few spots that were clearly not cleaned very well (side table, bath tub), but I wipe it down so no big deal. Other than that, everything was nice and I would stay again. Better than any other hotel I have stayed at for the same price on a busy weekend.

Great hotel for the value. Only downfall was the hot tub was busted. I was looking forward to using it. Pool gets crowded quick. Wished it were bigger. Everything else about the hotel I liked. Great water pressure and hot shower. Bathroom lights were really bright which I loved when putting on makeup.

This Holiday Inn Express is in a great quiet location. It’s close enough to Tulsa and activities without all the noise and traffic. Easy access to area attractions. It has the most comfortable beds that I’ve ever stayed in away from home. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Even thought they were short staffed (like every other business in the country), they operated with a smile.

The housekeepers and weekend breakfast attendant was wonderful! Room was clean, and they were friendly. Breakfast weekend attendant was friendly and good choices on Sunday. Monday was very limited, no hot food.Our room had an air conditioner that leaked throughout our stay saturating the carpet near the bed. We had to constantly change out towels to try and soak up the water. I reported it to the front desk but was to there was no maintenance person. Never an apology.The pool was freezing and we were told it has a heater but they choose not to turn it on, so we opted to just forget the pool. The hot tub was also still closed. Our air conditioner leaked all over the carpet during our stay and we had to just keep putting towels down to soak up the water which saturated the carpet. I never received an apology and there was no maintenance man available to fix it.Pool water was freezing and the hot tub was closed. We wetter told theres a pool heater but they choose not to turn it on.Overall, the stay was just very average for a Holiday Inn.

The staff was friendly and attentive. The hotel itself was fairly clean but could use improvement. Location was excellent for easy access to the Oklahoma Aquarium and downtown Jenks. Breakfast was not good and the selection was poor. The pool was clean but the hot tub was out of order and looked very dirty like someone had been sick in it. We do believe we left an expensive item in our room at check out and were unable to have it returned after making two calls to the hotel.

We stayed here on a friday and saturday night. When we arrived, there was nobody at the desk for 10minutes. There were people in front of us waiting longer than us, and very upset. Due to us waiting, they upgraded our room to a two room suite.When we got in the room, the bathroom smelled like body odor, the room smelled like mildew and was very damp. The pull out couch didnt have sheets or pillows, and when i received them, they had yellow stains on them. The comforter had chocolate smeared on it when taken out of the bag.The internet didnt work the entire stay. And when i went to call about that, our room phone didnt work. There werent enough towels, and i had to go get more. The only reason we didnt leave, is because we literally only slept there. The second night, we couldnt sleep due to the uncomfortable room, and we packed up and left at 430 in the morning. The kids 9yo and 4yo were happy to leave that early, if that tells you anything. The price for this hotel is outrageous for the poor condition you end up with. I would never return, and never recommend.

The only issue I encountered was with the morning staff. On 23rd morning staff could not be found, no coffee and no breakfast available. The 24th clerk did appear and I was able to get my printed invoice after some discussion. breakfast was almost non-existant.

I always stay at this hotel when in the Tulsa area. great staff, clean and comfortable room. clean bathroom. great area near river walk and a number of good restaurants. if you have time Jenks is a neat downtown..

This place was amazing! We got the room we wanted and it was so comfortable! This is a very clean property and the room was supplied with everything we needed. The staff was amazing and we were pleasantly suprised there was breakfast options in lieu of COVID. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone!

Everything at the hotel was great. we did not have breakfast there but Im sure it was good.My real purpose is to compliment Mr. Willard Jones. From the beginning of our stay Mr. Willard was a bright spot in my day. I thoroughly enjoyed seeing him every day and talking to him. It was just like meeting an old friend. Everyday he was so friendly and I just loved talking to him, he is a real asset to the facility, Mr. Willard was so friendly. Never have i looked forward to seeing anyone as much as I did Mr. Willard. we were there at a difficult time and he made the days just seem brighter. Holiday Inn has always had wonderful, helpful people, but Mr. Willard was just the help I needed.We will probably be staying there again in the near future and i hope to see Mr. Willard again, if not there, then some where, I know God had sent him there for a reason, i hope it was for my comfort.Thankyou Holiday Inn for hiring such a wonderful person

The black out shades worked perfectly. Pool was open and awesome. This place is right next to the aquarium we planned on attending the next day. We were all kinda bummed to find the hot tub out of service, but we made do. Only issues were the beds are very hard and the bathroom floor wasnt clean.

This hotel was nice and clean. At night there was noise from cars in the parking lot next door. Breakfast was disappointing. The manager (?) refused to open the larger dining area so people could sit and enjoy their breakfast. Breakfast foods were not refilled although it was still an hour until it was over.

I understand Covid rules but how does this make sense, she gives a plate of food and said dining room is closed you have to eat in your room. You take your plate and coffee (no lid mind you) and get in an elevator that is confined space, no cleaning materials present, don’t know if the person before you or after sneezed/contaminated the elevator and you are carrying food exposed to the open air. People in front of me wanted to sit in the dining room as it looked very inviting, no one in there, it is clean, tv on well lighted and they were denied entry into it. Why is made so inviting if no one can use it? Why is the tv on, lighting on and no signage or barrier? Why is there no signage for Queuing up in the breakfast line? All this with her poor attitude started our day negative and left a impression on poor service at this Jenks location. It makes me feel like this location is not serious about Covid or customer service. No boxes to cover the food or signage directing traffic. It feels as breakfast is set up like it to save labor by limiting services and no wipes/sanitizers is a cost reduction to save the hotel money. These 2 action show that holiday inn in not in the business to service customers in my opinion and will be etched in my memory upon identify hotels in the future.

This Hotel is Great from the front desk to the cleaning ladies always smiling and helpful. The Manager is always there and she is great as well. I have stayed at this hotel a number of times and will stay here everytime I am in Jenks or Tulsa.

Im one who pays attention to detail and examines. It said that staff was only to show up twice a week to clean bedrooms which is pretty whack, considering how many people may go through a room. My room had hair follicles on the floor in the bathroom, on the floor of the walkway after entering the hotel bedroom, on the covers for the bed, and on the computer chair. I could tell no one vacuumed the bedroom since there was leftover crumbs from a previous stay. The bottom corners of the walls were dusty and minor webbings in it. The beds were comfy, but this experience taught me that I should inspect my hotel room before officially accepting it for a stay.

Youre fortunate to have Willard Jones. He is the best thing your hotel offers.First, when we arrived nobody was at the front desk. Second, for the duration of our stay nobody bothered to clean our room. I called for a linen changed but the staff did not bother to remove the trash nor the dirty linens. I had to call her attention to bring with her the dirty linens.

The hotel was nice but not up to the standards I am used to with IHG. The bathroom floor would squeak when walking, the water temperature for the shower was just below warm, the pool water was freezing despite being indoors, the hot tub was not operational.Many of the other things were nice, including the appearance of the room. The bed was comfortable, plenty of space in the room, and overall a comfortable stay.

We could hear every step taken by the room above us. The family above obviously had young children and they were running back and forth the entire time. We could hear when they set their bags done. We could hear them talking. We could hear it ALL. It make it so hard to relax and go to sleep. And of course they were up late and awake early. We didnt get much sleep. It didnt seem excessive at all considering it was young children, it just seemed like VERY thin walls and floors. I was also upset that we werent able to book under the military discount without booking online. We didnt know what was going to be available and didnt have the option to pre book.

Had a couple minor issues with the room-couple of switches and charge ports didn’t work, the lighting left a little to be desired, and one of the chairs in the room was in poor shape, and felt like it was going to break-but we weren’t going to be spending much time in the room, so I didn’t feel the need to change rooms. We were there for vacation, not work, so basically only slept there. Place is right on the river, and next door to the aquarium, which was nice and convenient, and there are plenty of places to eat along the river walk.

I used my ihg points to do a night out with my wife, and figured since it’s in a nicer area of town and cost me 5,500-7,500 more points than any other ihg hotel it must be a nice hotel right??? WRONG!!! The staff isn’t rude but far from friendly (no over and beyond here), we walk into a cramped feeling room that doesn’t look as if it’s been maintained, the lamp shade had several holes in it, the blinds wouldn’t work right, the bathroom had not been cleaned properly there was still something on the counter and toothpaste in the sink, we lay down in bed and look up and there’s footprints on the ceiling above the bed, hit the gym the next morning and there’s signs that say clean equipment before use clean with what??? Definitely will not be staying at this location again.

Let me start by saying I am not usually someone who complains or writes reviews unless they are good reviews.. When we arrived, the room was dirty. Floor had obviously not been swept and the couch was all stained up with God knows what. I requested this be fixed and the lady at the front was very rude and acted like I was a nuisance. After this incident, every other time we had to ask for anything, they were very rude. Breakfast is gross and not fresh. Hot tub is not open. Rooms are so tiny you can barely turn around. For the price, I expected MUCH better. The ONLY reason I gave 2 stars instead of one is it is in a decent location.

Good stay. Just hate the hot tub was closed. I think they should have limit to number of guests allowed in, instead of closing it completely. But the hotel was very nice and clean. The room was spacious. Nice bathrooms. Very comfy beds.

Even with the plastic mat down in the tub, when I stepped in, the tub was so slick that I slipped and fell. My arm, back and elbow were all bruised. Whatever cleaner is used, made the tub extremely slippery.

We got this room as a surprise for our daughter’s birthday. We got the suite and she loved it. Our room had 2 balconies and faced the river. The breakfast could have been better, but with COVID, it was better than most places who just give to-go bags.

Hotel is very clean. The room was spacious. The TV did not work. Tried to call front desk to report TV did not have a signal. The phone did not work. Shower gel container was broken and could not use the shower gel. Had to get out of shower to get regular soap for shower. The bed was very comfortable, as were the pillows. Loud talking in hallway in middle of night. We were issued only 1 room key card. I wish I had insisted upon getting 2 keycards, but didn’t think much about it at checkin. The room was okay, but nothing special, lobby was something I would expect at a low end hotel. The area was safe and convenient for restaurants - so it was not really a bad experience, just could’ve been better with working TV and phone, shower gel, and 2 keys.

The staff was great and king, but the hotel itself reminded me of the worn out hotels in Branson Missouri. I booked the suite with the balcony. When I waked into the room I was disapointed in the overall look of the room and it felt like you were walking on concreate. The breakfast options were either cold or dried out. Not a big fan of this location and this locaiton does not add up to the other IHG hotels I have stayed in the past. WIll keep using the brand, just not this locaiton.

The ice machine was broken and I reported it the 1st day. Nothing was done about that. The toilet was clogged and wouldnt flush. They told us they offered breakfast on the run everyday, but they never had any. They said they ran out which seems unprofessional to me. If you offer breakfast, then you should have enough for the number of guests in the hotel. Overall, the property is not clean.

Upon check in the front desk seemed annoyed we disrupted her, our “executive king 2 room suite with balcony” was a joke. Small, unclean, rundown and overall uncomfortable. When we checked into our room the floors were not clean, there were crumbs on the floor like it had not been vacuumed between stays. There were questionable looking white stains on all the couches and chairs that looked disgusting, water stains as well. We found hair in the bedsheets as well as in the bathroom shower and sink. I went back down to the front desk to ask if the room had been cleaned before we got there and the front desk said it had been and then quickly offered to switch our rooms. When we switched we got a cleaner room but it still was not up to the normal standard of cleanliness you’d normally find in a Holiday Inn Express. The mattresses were broken down and had dips in them, the carpets terribly stained and the walls were so thin you couldn’t hear everything through them. The pool area was unclean, used towels and trash everywhere. The pool was cloudy and cold, the staff informed us the heater had been broken for some time. I understand the changes for individual breakfast in the mornings during Covid, however they were giving out grab bags with juice boxes, yogurt, granola bar and a cheap frozen breakfast sandwich. We were also informed that they had ran out of half their breakfast items. Overall I am extremely dissatisfied with the stay here, the only reason we stayed was because all surrounding hotels were already booked due to spring break. So we had no other option.

This is the hotel my family and I always stay in when visiting relatives in Jenks. It is very well kept and clean and in an area that is quiet. It has recently been updated and the rooms are modern. The beds are high quality and you would be hard pressed to find a better quality at this price. During Covid, many hotels are not offering breakfast but this hotel has a bag of breakfast to go and I appreciated that so much. Walking trails along the river are nearby.

I love the location of this hotel! But the bed was too soft in some spots and seemed like it had been over slept on in the spot I tried to lay. I had to switch sides because i kept sinking in too much. Having only breakfast bags until 9 was not convenient for me, so I chose to skip breakfast.

This was the worse stay I have ever stayed. I was given 2 rooms when I first checked in and both rooms where already taken. So I walked in 2 ppl rooms. 3rd time I finally got a room. The ppl above us had kids jumping off the beds till 1 am in morning. I had to complain 3 time and nothing was done not even noted about the complaints.

Overall I would recommend this hotel to others. The only problem we experienced was the breakfast was not a buffet due to COVID. We got two rooms with the pass through door so we had privacy and could keep an eye on the grandkids. There are plenty of places to eat and things to do around the area. We went for the aquarium then went to an awesome game room. For a weekend getaway it was a fun trip and the hotel is clean with helpful staff.

Recently stayed for one night - Very unimpressed. Front Desk was non-existent, and when they appeared, were inept and couldnt answer basic questions about the hotel, and most importantly, why we were charged when we booked the room by redeeming IHG points. Heated indoor pools heater was broken. Hot tub was out of order as well. Although the room was clean, one of the bathroom walls had visible mold (behind the door). No bathroom vent, so who knows how long thats been there...We definitely wouldnt stay again. Many better options in Tulsa.

I arrived late in the evening and was having problems walking.The front desk staff took my bags to my room so I could be taken to the restaurant, next door. The room was nice and it was clean and the bathroom had all the necessary items.Coffee was very good. Didnt have time to try breakfast. Perhaps next time.

Very clean and very nice staff. But the hot tub/sauna was out of order, the fitness center was closed, the shampoo and wash in the shower was empty, there was no extra toilet paper in our bathroom, AND no breakfast buffet, only a bag with a granola bar and an orange... I think the price should of at least be discounted to reflect these amenities that you do not get.
