My family and I were enjoying a fun night at Langford lanes until my father was confronted by a security guard for having a clear water bottle with him. My father has dry mouth as a result of battling throat cancer. The radiation completely destroyed his salivary glands, so he has to have water with him at all times. He told the security guard the reason why he needed the water bottle, but she told him Langford lanes has lots of water if he wants some, and that he could not have the water bottle in the bowling alley. Due to the nature of his disease, it is crucial that he has access to water when he needs it. He simply cannot rely on a server to bring him water on a consistent basis, and he also does not want to be an inconvenience to the server by needing water on a regular basis. Being that it was a long weekend, it was very busy in there, and as a result, service was quite slow. This was not the fault of the servers and they did the best they could. Langford Lanes management, please be more flexible to customers who have special circumstances. I understand that you have rules with regards to bringing your own drinks into the building, but I would hope you would understand that this was a unique situation that could have been handled with a bit more empathy.

What an amazing experience! The staff is always helpful and wear a smile! Enjoyed the food, drinks and all the activities! Cant wait to go again.

Went bowling with my family had so much fun all the staff there were super helpful and kind ,I met the owner such a nice man goes above and beyond for his customers I would highly recommend this place for Christmas parties, parties and gatherings. Can’t wait to go back soon....

This is a fun place to spend an afternoon. Their prices and specials are lovely. Their food is a bit pricey, and the quality can be hit and miss. I did notice one of their staff not wash their hands in the bathroom though.

A very old fashioned bowling alley. Things are abit rundown. The arcade section has some old games and I think the pool table is missing the sticks and balls.. not sure if you have to go to somewhere to get those missing parts. Place is kept fairly clean though

Lots of fun. Automatic gutter guards make it more fun for kids and level the playing field when they take on adults

We used the VIP lanes here for our team and had a blast. Food is a little overpriced for teens who are buying their own food but the setup is fabulous. Ton of fun!

Bowling lanes are very mediocre and from the outside I thought it would have been considerably bigger. It was crowded and not a very relaxing atmosphere AT ALL. I have bowled at a lot of places and this one is not on my return to list. We had a gal come and take our food or drink order which was nice but food was very basic and expensive. Couldn’t even just have a cheap hot dog because they’re $11.00!!!

Once in a while I find a restaurant that does decent fish and chips.Langford Lanes has such a restaurant.The fish was cooked perfectly.Beer on tap.

The food is overpriced but ok.. the pinball is fun but the haunted house one eats your loonies and the star wars one has a sticky right paddle... ultimately its a fun place if you can find a parking spot

Went there with friends and family. We had fun, ordered nachos(a little over cooked but ok) staff were all really nice and service was good, however the actual bowling part of it was horrible. If youre a half decent bowler dont expect to enjoy your game. I just about did a header down the lane when I went to slide into my shot and stopped dead. I might as well have been wearing my running shoes. My knee still hurts. I though it was just that our lane had something sticky on it and was told about a little carpet thing you rub your shoes on. This did not help at all. Also, the pin setter kept malfunctioning.If you just want to go goof around with friends and have a bunch of money to spend by all means please go but serious bowlers should avoid this place!I will not return or recommend lameford lames until they do something about these terrible bowling lanes!

They didnt add extra time even though the lane jammed.

Bowling alleys were pretty common when I was a kid, but now, finding a lively one in the region isnt easy. Thankfully Langford Lanes delivers on some good old fashioned fun in a nice facility.

I didnt bowl but just checked it out after watching a hockey game. It really seems the City of Victoria has dropped the ball as far as providing venues for descent family entertainment and Langford has picked it up. The place was full and everyone looked like they were having a good time. Music, lights, pub style restaurant and pool tables. I was very impressed. I didnt check out the prices though. I am sure my kids would have enjoyed spending some time there with their friends.

Great fun bowling but charged our DD $3.50 for soda water so we dont have a ride to come back..

We had so much fun here last night! The new management is doing a fabulous job. Great service and excellent food. I was really surprised by the menu - definitely much more than I expected, and much better than your usual pub food. A very fun atmosphere and great place to spend time with friends. I will definitely be coming again soon.
