My favorite go to Japanese restaurant in BGC, Taguig City! They are also a partner restaurant in Zomato Gold, wherein you can buy 1 food and take 1 food for free.During Valentine’s, they held a 50% off promo on all their food menu. Food is 5, service is 4 since some of their staff is not so accommodating especially during the 50% off promo, environment is 5. Sometimes it takes a 20-30 minutes for the food to be served.Ultimately, it is a definite must in BGC.

We had our lunch here at 2pm, we are the only guests. We are supposed to use our zomato gold privilages, but told us we can only use 2 zomato gold per table, we offered that the other 2 persons will seat in a separate table then the 4 people in another just so they can agree of us having to use 3 zomato gold. Other than that experience I can say that the service is good and the food is also good but not that satisfying compared to other japanese themed resto that serves katsus and ramen.

Zomato gold is worth it.Place smells like fried stuff though. Exhaust needs improvement

Delicious food at reasonablr prices

Order the Kuro Dragon Maki. Its good. Anything with batter, be prepared to chew more than you expect. Its a bit on the thick and chewy side. This goes for the tempura and katsu. Saikoro Wagyu was ok for me taste-wise. Texture kinda threw me off as it doesnt have the normal beef texture. Place had blaring sounds when we went and it was a tad bit difficult to converse without intentionally raising our own volume. I guess the sound volume is to be expected from a gastropub/izakaya... Or maybe not. Ive been to others that had more subtle volume. Overall, its ok. I might return when Im in the area just for the Kuro Dragon Maki.

Food was good, and with my Zomato gold privilege it was good value for money. Service was superb. Katsudon was well executed, although having a cheese sauce on top was a bit strange for me and the egg was too little. The okonomiyaki was okay tasting but had too little shrimp (or any other meat source) so there was no texture contrast. Service is indeed quite slow. You literally have to tap the waiter to catch his attention. And response is not courteous. To think I was just asking for a spoon after ordering tantanmen noodle soup which should be served with a spoon.

We called in and made reservations for 8, hours in advance. The tables were partially ready for us but they had to move people around still to accommodate us. We all ordered promptly and began waiting.. and waiting.. and waiting. It was 1 hour and 15 minutes before the first meal was served. About 20 minutes later the next meal was served. All in all it took literally over 1 and a half hours before all of our meals arrived at the table.The wait staff was extremely inefficient and seemed to just be running around mostly lost. As the food came out, they just sort of put it on the table in front of the same person every time. No attempt was made to determine who the food belonged to. One in our party ordered a sprite which came with a glass of ice that also included a roach.The food was good, but this was lunch, we didnt really have time to sit around waiting forever for the food to be served as we had to return to work. It really doesnt matter how good the food is, if the service is this horrible, its simply not worth it.All in all, it was a very unpleasant experience and we have no intention of ever returning.

This place makes one hell of a sushi but all the great food and music gets drowned in the painfully slow service that has become a standard there! I have visited this place over 5 times in the past couple of months and the service has been slow and inefficient all the time - predictably. If youre dont mind that then the sushis and aburis are sumptuous. Spice lovers try the Hiroshima Maki - its like no other! My advise - hit this place only when you have ample time and the nerves to spare!

HELLO, Soru Izakaya! :)Maguro SashimiEvery slice was nice and cold, refreshing in the mouth with soy sauce, wasabi, and a hint of lemon. Its just as good without lemon.Kuro Dragon Maki(unagi, cream cheese, and asparagus topped with Japanese mayo and teriyaki sauce)The colorful presentation made this dish a winner! It was the most interesting dish for our first visit because it was literally a work of art. We didnt want to mess it up but that wasnt likely to happen. Every bite was so good because each one was sweet and creamy.Beef SukiyakiWe were relieved to finally find a restaurant that actually serves this with broth. Our anticipation of the flavor was sweet and we were correct! Serving size was very satisfying and it came with a fair variety of ingredients. This was perfect!Rising Sun TakoyakiId recommend this to the sweet-toothed. Expect the takoyaki to be served cold. Its dessert after all. Fruits kept it refreshing!I loved that they serve cold tea and they did fine with refills.Restroom felt a bit tight but I was happy I could fit. :)
