Nice ambience. But the food is not.
Enjoy!
Came here twice during our visit to Manila! Everything was so delicious. But make sure to come early, when we got there they were out of many of the squid dishes. Especially enjoyed the Dandan noodles, crispy pork and shrimp wontons and of course their soup dumplings. Original was my favorite but we also really enjoyed the crab one and the pork and garlic. Dont forget to grab some salted egg yolk custard buns for dessert!
I really love to dine here. The atmosphere was so lively because of different group of people happily eating. Great conversation starts with great food. They have wide selection of dishes at affordable prices. Everything is delicious. We were unfortunate that Jellyfish wasnt available that time. Looking forward to try it next time.Xiao Long Bao will always be a winner here. The room for making Xiao Long Bao serves as a good attraction inside the place wherein you can see the actual process of making it.Great customer service as usual and they have WIDE dining area.Overall it was a great experience.
The Xialonbao here were hand wrapped in the kitchen visible to the dinners throughout the dinner time. The Xialonbao was tasty and the wrapper was thin layer and no leakage of the meat sauce from the Bao due to good wrapping method and procedure that the kitchen helps were following by observing their working process. The other foods were just about average and the eggrolls were greasy. The chicken soup in small individual cup was steamed and tasty. Will recommend their Xialonbao and chicken soup.
Their desserts merit a separate review. Amazing. We had the Golden Lava Salted Egg Bun, Black Lava Buchi and Chocolate Lava Xiao Long Bao. I literally wished we had skipped the main meal and just doubled up on desserts instead. Almost had to physically fight my SO for the last pieces. Almost. Maybe next time.
Staff are friendly and very accommodating. A little bit on the expensive side but, overall good place to eat.
Tasty dim sum ...they also have lot of choice.
Went here a month ago and I think that was Wednesday. No crowds. Best to go here on early weekdays to avoid the long line. Staffs were attentive. I like that they were well informed of the food Im about to order since Im planning to eat those unfamiliar delicacies. I like their Salted Egg Yolk Prawns very much especially paired with Fried Rice with Sweet Garlic & Scallions. I also tried two of their famous XiaLongBao. The first one was the Truffle & Pork. The other one was the Foie Gras & Chicken. I like the later the most because its very tasty, so creamy and a bit salty at the same time, while the Truffle & Pork was earthy with a tiny hint of sourness on the side. But I think, what would make me come back here is their Golden Lava Salted Egg Yolk Bun. Man! I love it really! The bread is soft and the filling is so creamy and sweet. Best consume it while its warm. The place is quite big. You and your friends or family can move around easily. I also like that they have this little basket for my bags and belongings on the side of the table. The only catch that I see here is the price. Saving up is the key to enjoy their foods to the fullest.
各种口味小笼包是招牌,烤麸是不错的小食物,炒饭里的蒜蓉蛋炒饭最香,比其他炒饭更美味
Right at the heart of BGC High Street Central, Din Tai Fung is well loved by food lovers from all walks of life. And no wonder - with its wide range of menu items to share and consistent quality on taste. Best to avoid meal hours esp on weekends and holidays as it may take a while before you are seated.Top recommended dishes are among the following: Pork Xiao Long Bao Shrimp Fried Rice (by itself is already a meal), Shrimp and Pork Wontons is Special spicy Sauce Beef Brisket noodle soup (with oh-so tender beef chunks to enjoy!)Admittedly, the chili oil was somewhat a disappointment as they only used chili flakes soaked in oil - was not quite sure how to make of itEither way, still very much a great foodie experience and worth every bite!!
Their legendary xiao long bao did not disappoint, but there are other fantastic items from their dim sum and main menu that were also as great! The restaurant is massive but it still gets packed at almost any given time.Staff were very efficient and knowledgeable and were great with details, including providing racks for your bags! Will be back for more!
There are a few locations in Manila with Tin Dai Fung, however this one will always be my choice. Its located in high street BGC, where theres lots of shade to wait outside in case the restaurant is full. Which doesnt seem to ever happen, strangely enough given the absolutely delicious xiao long bao that this restaurant chain is known for. The little buns are filled to the rim with soup inside with every bite. So good! They also do an incredibly good job with the egg yolk dessert, which has a hint of coconut taste inside. As far as cost goes, its not the cheapest choice to eat at. But! When its great food? its well worth it, oh and if you carry bags they give you a side container to put it in. So its not on the table, hows that for service? ️
They have excellent staff service
高品質的服務,口味極精緻,頂級美食!
Super love the service and efficiency! Visited when they offered xiao long bao for 1 peso! Sulit!
A really good place to eat Chinese food. Great attention and the din sum... Terrific.
Surprisingly loved the salted egg squid. It was addicting. Good service although long queue at payment bc their pos keeps hanging up
Still the best Salted Egg Shrimp and second best Xiao Long Bao in the PH for me. Minus one star for Pork Chop Fried Rice which I think is 50% starch.
Taro desert sucked, wasn’t sweet and didn’t taste like taro, truffle xiao long wasn’t that great.Egg rolls were on point, spicy wontons were decent.Three cups chicken were amazingService was good, I didn’t realize you had to go up to pay, food was overall goodWould come back for three cups chicken only
AmbienceUpon entry, I felt like entering a hotel restaurant with lighting that looked so grand, especially during the evening. The overall look was clean and classy with a spacious dine-in area for a good mix of pairs and crowds. I noticed that the female restroom was twice the size of the males, and wheelchairs will fit the former.BeveragesIf you have an appreciation for rose-flavored beverages, I recommend trying the Iced Rose Tea and Jasmine & Rose Milk Tea. For a more refreshing experience, try the Lemongrass Juice. The latter was so refreshing I wanted another glass!FoodChicken Xiaolongbao was an educational food experience, because this restaurants laminated guide taught me the proper way to enjoy Xiaolongbao. The soup was not too hot so it was basically ready for immediate consumption. Bamboo steamer size was amusingly big, presenting the dimsum like they were candy balls of sorts.Din Tai Fung Hot & Sour Soup was a good share for two and it lived up to its name by being fairly sour.Machang Noodles with Sesame & Peanut Sauce was kinda okay. The texture looked appetizing despite the earth tones of the entire dish. Flavor was flat and mild, lacking some excitement.ServiceIt was excellent from multiple angles! The queue outside was organized and we were offered more convenient seats inside. Beverage refills arrived so fast I felt like royalty! Staffers were always nearby and ready. All bills were accurate and orderly. Extra orders were printed and stacked with the first bill, providing an updated bill total. All staffers greeted and smiled genuinely.Key PointsLemongrass - addicting!Service - world-class!Xiaolongbao - must-try!NoteTo pay your bill, bring it to the counter near the entrance/exit. This set-up was so convenient for me, and I hope others would feel the same way and enjoy this experience too!
Our son treated us for lunch at Din Tai Fung last Sunday for his birthday. I used to have the impression that all their dishes were expensive but it changed when we had our first try of Xiaolongbao at their Megamall branch. Yes they have expensive xiaolongbaos depending on the ingredients but they also have ones that are good for the buck . They also have non-dimsum dishes by the way that are just as delicious
Food is great but not as tasty as other chinese restaurants (I guess it’s because of msg). The price is a bit pricey and the serving is small. Staff are well trained and everything looks clean and orderly. Two thumbs up to their xiao long bao! :)
Excellent 1st visit. My wife and I decided to have dinner here as we leave Central Square. Its big and modern looking and popular.Or arrival we were shown to a table.Very slick and professional operation. We chose our dishes. The food arrived, generally all piping hot and all tasted great. One of our best dining experiences in BGC.We will definitely be back.
No wonder this place is very popular! They have great food, clean place and friendly staff.
Finally, was able to try this much talked about Chinese restaurant. We dined at an odd hour so we didn’t have to wait for our table. We were ushered immediately to a table quite near where their famous xiao long bau is being prepared. We ordered veggies, some fried wontons, sweet and sour soup single serve which is good enough for sharing and dining is not complete without ordering the xiao long bau. Our orders arrived in just the right amount of time. What is interesting and the first amongst the restaurant I’ve been to is they have a special container which resembles a little crib where you can put your bags. The staff expertly set it up right beside me and cover it with a cloth. Talk of complete service, this is the one taken to a higher level. Food is good. Staff are all friendly. After dining one has to go to the cashier located near the entrance to settle the bill.
Din Tai Fung is famous for its Xiao Long Bao, and since was able to get one michelin star before, it is worth a visit as well. The xiao long bao is definitely better than others, the skin doesnt stick to the chopsticks and it is flavorful (5 stars for this!). Excellent staff as well. I have eaten here several times already but this time it lacks something. The pork chop rice is okay, not too salty but we find the rice to be oily... we also got the jasmine and rose milk tea and the wintermelon with pearl but it is so-so... the pearl is a little hard to chew and a little expensive for this quality compared to other famous taiwan milk tea shops.
財布の心配をせずにお腹いっぱい食べられます。
Taste and flavor is fitted to Pinoys tastebuds - less spicy and a bit bland as compared to their food in Hong Kong and Singapore.
Never disappoints. Will always be a fave. Didnt order xiao long bao this time though coz we wanted to try the other dishes.
Delicious dumplings, especially the xio long bao.Fast service and a very clean and well lit restaurant.Highly recommended.
Everyone needs to come to one of these in Asia somewhere out of everything we ordered I recommend the pork and roasted garlic buns, Crispy beef strips and the desserts golden lava salted egg yolk bun was extremely delicious also the chocolate lava xiaolongbao.
Lines can get long so its good to arrive early.
Perfect xiao long bao very juicy, liu sha bao is so nice can experience the burst of the sauce in your mouth, prawn and pork 饺子 very good as well but taste like same as the xiao long bao. End with a yam xiao long bao... perfect. Overall food is good but its pricey
No need for too much words, just go there, the food is fantastic, focus on dumplings which are world class!
My dining experience here was very pleasant. Staff were helpful and food was soooo good! What we ordered and I loved them all:️ golden lava bun (so good!)️ crab xiao long bao️ jasmine rose milk tea️ shrimp wanton soup️ pork roasted garlic bun
Great food and service. Xiao long bao is always good.
Food is great as expected. Order Xiao long bao before anything else. There may be a bit of a wait but lines move fast so no worries. Their appetizer is good too (Din Tai Fung special).
