FAITH IS UNQUESTIONING BELIEFWow...Subrang banal ng lugar , sa labas plang ehh mafefeel muna ang presence ng lugar...mga debotong nangaling pa sa ibatibang lugar..sari2 language ang maririnig . yung kahit ang init at subrang haba ng pila papasok para mka halik kai mama Mary..yung mga sari2 mga hiling, pasasalat at dasal ng bawat isa....pero subra talaga na nindig balahibo ko sa mga naka lagay sa cabinet .yung mga pasasalamat at mga hiling na natutulad ni mama Mary ...yung mga pulis,seafarers, guro ,engineer, at mga hiling na malabo pa sa pinaka malabo...yung hiling na magka anak ...at shempre mapapa iyak ka sa mga healing testimonies na mababasa mo papasok mismo sa altar...maluluha ka sa mga mababasa mo...masasabing paano, pero ang sagut ay sya..ang hirap ehh explain ang feeling na mararamdaman mo ...mapapaluha ka ng di mo namamalayan ...mapapaisip ka paano napapakinggan ni Mama Mary ang lahat ng dasal at nabibigyan ng lunas ang lahat ng ito......yung dami dami mong inisip at idadasal sa kanya, pero pag kaharap muna sha., ehh para kang nauutal ni walang salita ang lalabas sa bibig mo...di kamaka dasal di maka salita..parang na starstruck ka...yung lakas ng nafefeel mo...basta...kinikilabutan ako...dito lng .......

Nakapunta nako dito 2014. Haba ng pila pero worth it naman. Renovation pa nung panahon na un. maganda na siguro ngaun kasi dami ng advertisment sa airport ng mactan.

눈물흘리는 성모마리아상으로 유명한 교회입니다.교회는 계속해서 확장공사중이라 정돈되지 않은 느낌이 나는 곳들이 있습니다만 전반적으로 굉장히 웅장한 느낌이 듭니다. 하지만 큰 건물에 비해 건물내에선 갈 수 있는 장소가 굉장히 한정적이라 별로 볼 건 없습니다.가장 중요한 성모마리아상은 보려면 최소 30분~1시간은 기다려야 하며 특별한 절기때는 줄이 상상도 못할만큼 길다고 하니 그런주간은 피해서 가는게 좋을 듯 합니다.다양한 컬러의 초를 파는데 너무 상업적인 것 같아서 별로였습니다. 그리고 초를 태우는 공간에서 잠깐 마스크를 쓰고 있었더니 마스크가 시커멓게 변했습니다.

セブのsouth bus terminal からバスで来て、バス停(そんなものは実際ない笑)からchurchまでバイクに乗りました。2人で往復100か150ペソだった気がします。入り口前には色々な露店やらお土産屋などたくさんあります。自分はホットドッグを食べましたが、その後お腹を下しました。注意です。また、ブコ(ココナッツ)ジュースなどフルーツもありますが、ちょっと高いです。高速バスから降りた大通り沿いで買えば2から3分の1程度の値段で買えます。トイレはchurchの入り口を入ってすぐ右にありますが、1人20ペソ取られます。これは結構ビックリしました。現地のフィリピン人の方もかなり驚かれている様子でした笑笑Church全体は広くて豪華な感じでした。ただし、すーっと回ると30分くらいで終わるので、このためだけにここに来るのはどうかなと思いますが、パワーは感じられました。オスロブに向かう途中で観光するくらいの気持ちでいいかもしれません。

A testament of faith for the deep devout and solemn place. It’s amazingly huge. Well tucked in a local place. Be prepared to cover up but no worries for there are scarves for sale outside. Lots of mementos from miraculous healings. There is a route to kiss/pray to the virgin. A few minutes drive from Oslob for orientation on the location.

We had like a 2-3 hour drive from Cebu City. The church is huge, and is always full packed with pilgrims.Eateries and stores are available just outside the church vicinity.

I always find time to bring my parents here whenever I can. The place gave us a sense of peace and comfort.

Feels like youre in a different country. The place gives you a good view of the whole shrine and the church. Although they can be very strict with their dress codes. You cannot go inside when you wear clothes that are revealing your arms and legs, and you have to rent for a balabal to hide them which only cost 20 pesos.

Wow. Biggest Church in the Phils. Theres solemnity. Nice architectural designs.

This is a must for me everytime i am in Cebu. A few years back I was in a really bad shape emotionally...I prayed and wished...believe it or not i am perfectly okay now. I will surely came back again to give thanks for the granting my all my wishes.

The Monastery of the Holy Eucharist, popularly known as the Simala Shrine or Simala Church is located in Marian Hills, Lindogon, Simala, Sibonga, Cebu. It was built in 1998 by the Marian Monks from Pampanga. It used to be just an ordinary church until after the incidents of miraculous events.

When we got here around 8am and we didn’t know exactly what time they will open the gate so we stood in the line about 30 mins and they were already a hundreds of people waiting for the gate to open..and it was very hot plus i didnt know that you have to wear a jeans and tshirts as long as your shoulder is cover so i had to rent some sarong to cover up my whole body,All i can say is very nice place,we didn’t finished the whole church because it was so hot and the line was so long everytime you wanna go somewhere or you wanna see something you had to get in the line and the line was so long plus we had a kids with us.. so for me its good if its all adult going..i would definitely comeback next time..

Nice & holy place... a worth to visit!

The place is solemn and magnificent.You must also observe proper/decent attire(no shorts, sleveless, sexy dresses, above-the-knee skirts, leggings) in order to enter.It is pretty easy to get to. There are several buses and vans from South Cebu Terminal (near E-Mall). You just have to tell the conductor that your destination is the Simala Shrine. At the drop-off point going to the shrine youll have to ride a habal-habal or tricycle (note: since it is pretty steep, there are some areas where you must get-off the tryc and hike a little). The fare is P25 per person per way.You also need not worry about where to buy souvenirs (pasalubong) and where to eat, since there are a lot of shops outside the shrine. If you are also wearing those which are prohibited like shorts or sleeveless, there are a lot of vendors who offer rentals of salawal/long skirts for P20.

The church is truly magnificent you will be mesmerized to its beauty. Make sure you follow the dress code before you visit, no sleeveless and shorts. Although you can buy sarong at the entrance of the church. There are lot of shops selling souvenir and religious items from healing oil, t shirts, ref magnet etc. There is also a store inside the church where you can buy candles, each color represents meaning. Youre lucky enough if you will be able to attend 12:00 NN mass. There is also museum where some of the granted prayers are displayed. Going here, You can ride Ceres Bus from South Bus Terminal you can ask the driver to drop you at Simala from the juncture you can ride habal-habal.
