In the middle of wine country, you find some excellently place to eat. From the outside you’d figure this place was an average restaurant. It happens to beSuperb. Serves mainly small plates so great to share everything. Enjoy the amazing Moroccan Lamb Chops. Crab Cakes were tasty! Fillet Mignon sliders are great. Bread pudding and Crème Brûlée for desert. Really quite wonderful food and wines. Excellently paced service for our languid 2 hour meal despite a packed house. Put other wine bars to shame with the wine choices.

The food is exquisite and since its all served small- plate, its perfect for trying a bunch of things and sharing with friends! The tuna tartare is your typical app with pine nuts and avocado, but delicious all the same. The mushroom soup shooters are served with mini grilled cheese sandwiches that are perfect for fall! Dont miss out on the ribs, which have so much meat on them and a savory sauce I wish I had the recipe for or the filet mignon sliders, which are served with some sort of buttery sauce and little rolls from heaven! Both are TO DIE FOR. The service is excellent, as you would expect with any Starks restaurant, and the patio is ready for your covid dining needs. Definitely a winner!

Loved staying there, beautiful landscaping, the room was very nice, love the maid service especially as they turn the sheet on the bed down and leave fresh cookies for a late night snack, we took the bottle of their Fume Blanc home with us and it was tasty... best deal in Santa Rosa if youre exploring the local pinot noir vinyards near the inn like Iron Horse or Harvest Moon... hope to stay there again soon

Fantastic dinner! All the staff were friendly and well-informed. The place has great ambience and clean. The food was incredible. I love the small plates and being able to try a variety of foods.

Amazing food, really every dish is on point. Lamb chops to beets... Yum! The wine list is varied and interesting. So many choices by the ounce, glass or bottle and the pricing is fair. My only complaint is about the noise. The only way to have a conversation is by yelling. Please get some acoustic engineering.

One of the best dinners Ive had in a long time. Food was very tasty and service was exceptional.

Great plates. Had a large variety, and really liked the butternut squash orzo, crab tacos, arugula salad, and lamb with couscous. I normally dont even like lamb, but this is about the best Ive ever tasted, and the couscous with it was extremely delicious.

The food here is killer. Im a beer drinker, so only suggestion would be to add some more options. Although, they had a really good henhouse IPA which I had a few of. Gracious portion sizes for the tapas. Go, you wont be sorry

They have a few beers but it really is a wine bar, so ask your server to recommend something. Food is amazing and super rich, so order one less plate than and you think you need or you will not have room for dessert.

Great wine selection and even better menu. Two small plates per person was plenty!

The food was extremely delicious and very high quality. You can tell they put a lot of time and love into each dish. The portions did differ quite a bit, which was misleading at times. If you want a large portion, and you like pork, get the Pork Riblets! They can easily feed 2 people. Overall, I had a great first experience. It was a bit pricey but the food did match the cost.

Willis wine bar is very busy and for good reason. There is a fantastic selection of wines by the glass, and the numerous flights have some interesting combinations. The food is great and the waitstaff is helpful with recommendations. Lots of small plates to share.A classic crowded place to spend a delightful evening in Sonoma wine country.

Willies captures the heart of living in Sonoma County. Great small plates with interesting ingredients that always tantalize. I make it here a couple of times a year and there are always new items on the menu, but the favorites usually remain (especially truffle fries!). Great for business meetings or date night. Excellent wine list.
