My only regret is that I dont have another fireplace in my house.We have a curved front hearth and everyone said we had to have a tacky looking surround to get one installed, so I stuck to my guns and said i wasnt going to have it look like an after-market install. I waited 13 years to get what I wanted, as no one else said it could be done.I arrived at warming trends and spoke with Greg in sales and the first words out of his mouth were, youre gonna need an inside mount or it will look terrible. I knew I was at the right place.Eric was great via email taking my measurements and recommending an electrician to install an electrical source for the built in fan (Spyrka Electric: top notch!). Ronn in the office was quick to help as well when I had an inquiry. Install was quick and efficient and left not a scrap of dust behind.The whole process was seamless and the result is EXACTLY what I hoped for. I just wish I had gone to warming trends long ago!We got the Mendota fullview insert and it is amazing in terms of heat output, and looks like the fireplace was designed around it. Our furnace/HVAC system is now obsolete! Our dogs love it too!If you need a fireplace insert, these are the people to see - from start to finish an easy experience!

Nine years ago Warming Trends installed an expensive wood stove in our new house. Unfortunately we rarely used it as there was such a negative draft. We learned to start the fire with the evaporative cooler on (yes in winter) but after we turned it off, smoke somehow seemed to leak out into the room even with the window cracked. We had Warming Trends come out and look at it and they said it would not draw well because the house was surrounded by trees. Why would they not tell us that before selling and installing a product they knew would not work?Since the Valley Fire, there are no trees around our house but the we still have a strong negative draft. They installed it with two 90 degree angles in the stovepipe and many people have told us that is the problem. Who knows? Warming Trends says no. Not their fault.

Warming Trends beats Malm Fireplace Center...hands down!!! Last year I went to Malm Fireplace Center and selected an insert, but never heard from their contract installers. This year I went back to Malm Fireplace Center and they sold me a floor model that was no longer available and had to return my deposit. I immediately drove across town to Warming Trends and explained the ordeal I had with the other company. Ronn Christy helped me select a comparable model at a competitve price and put me in the installation schedule because they have their own installers. The fireplace insert was installed yesterday with no hiccups. The Warming Trends crew showed up promptly at their scheduled time and completed their work in a friendly and clean manner and even walked me through how to use the fireplace and remote control before they left.Thank you!
