Wonderful ambience, service and food!

This is our favorite restaurant!

Delicious food, sophisticated wine list, inviting atmosphere and gracious hosts. Whats not to love? I am swooning over the french onion soup, broiled gruyere on top of a very fragrant and flavorful onion consomme. The best, far and away. The beef bourgignon was so tender like butter , and the vegetable lasagna had a lot of flavor and was filling yet not heavy. Chocolate mousse like chocolate cake batter- so satisfying!! I saw a colossal plate of mussel frites that I am dying to come try asap.

Spectacular - if they can make a beef bourguignon taste that delicious as take out, I can’t imagine how it must taste in the restaurant. Wonderful service and fabulous food!

Ive been there multiple times and am a member of the wine club. Excellent service, food, and atmosphere! Favorites are the French onion soup and beef bourguignon. BUT you cant go wrong with anything in the menu. Thomas and Loni have a great restaurant!

Wonderful authentic French Bistro in San Pedro, we’ve been enjoying the wonderful food, great wine selection and relaxed atmosphere for the past year. The menu is constantly updated with seasonal offerings, and family recipes. Please continue to support this family owned restaurant through these unprecedented times by ordering curbside pickup. Mussels and tomato/mustard pie were so good! Awesome ambiance and the owners are so nice and involved in the daily operations.

The food and service is unmatched. The restaurant is beautiful all the way to the bathrooms.

I had a pick up order....and when I got home and had my meal.....wow.....some of the best food ive had around here. Next time il dine in. The place is small, but the meal was delicious. Well worth it. Keep up the good job

Solid 3.5. Never knew this place existed until recently popping up on a search. For a Sunday evening it was busy. The restaurant isnt huge so reservations are a good idea. It gets stuffy/hot in there as well.

At last! A beautiful spot for REAL French bistro cuisine-- excellent quality, lovely presentation, gracious host and hostess. Not an extensive menu, thank goodness, just delicious fare, truly as I hoped. And close by, in San Pedro. Couldnt be better.

Food was good. A bit pricy for lunch unless you just get a starter. French onion soup very good, but small size.

Ive eaten here twice, and can attest to the bistros quality: this is authentic and affordable French comfort food, like steak fries, mussel fries, and other protines paired with other starches. I had the duck breast with polenta fries both times. Wonderful. Whether youre a San Pedro local or just visiting, visit here. I hope it stays open for a long time.

Love it. Delicious food, charming casual atmosphere. Every time I go I feel like I have had a mini vacation to France.

Food was great! Service was great. Would have given 5 stars but it was a a little pricey. But enjoyed it.

Campagnon or Le Buffet is the closest to French taste you can get in South Bay! Their tartare is the bomb

Truffle risotto was amazing! Beef tartare was good although slightly too lemony. The Languedoc Bottle of red was the best value and way better tasting than the Bordeaux we ordered first. Overall very decent French food!

This was my first time trying this place and boy was I impressed. When we first got there we were greeted by Lonnie who was absolutely the sweetest. Our waitress April was on point everything we asked for we got it right away and she was super sweet. The food was the best Ive everrrrrr had and for dessert we had the creme brulee. Thank you everyone at La Buvette for making date night perfect. From the decor to the creme brulee best restuarant Ive ever been too xoxo

A true French bistro in San Pedro! Everything is made in house with flair - from the baguette slices with le pettit beurre au sel, to the fragrant onion soup and mousse au chocolat. Paired with just the right wines - a rose for a warm summer night is spot on. Delightful French owners and wait staff caringly make you feel home. The decor is soothing, the skylights infuse the place with soft, natural light and, for a moment, looking at the ambient reflection in the patina-ed mirrors you feel you may be in Paris or on the Croisette, while Edith Piaf sounds gently through the place. Repeat visits are a must...!

Tonight was our second visit. The service continues to impress and the food is spectacular.
