Bear in mind that these 5 stars are taking into account the limited resources that these, and similarly struggling establishments, are dependent on not just from the tourist industry that comprises the major part of this towns income but also local products imported from the mainland that could otherwise vindicate much higher prices which this establishment is able to avoid despite being an Icon of this beautiful Fishing Town on Ambergris Caye. You can see this in the pictures of patrons fortunate enough to have not only eaten here but that have also taken part in the fishing tours that give this unique establishment its well deserved name.
Had the sizzling seafood fajitas and they were amazing! Very friendly staff, was accommodating so we could have a great experience with all the coronavirus restrictions in place.
Went here Christmas day looking for a good place to have lunch. Walked in with almost nobody there and upon closer inspection it was obvious that it was not a place to eat local, authentic food. We waited for 45 minutes and had the worst food that weve had on the island. Terrible fish which was confirmed to be frozen. I couldnt imagine how much of a disaster this place would be when busy. If you want to eat like a tourist at a place with bad service, bad food, and decent decor. I highly recommend!
Shrimp tacos were excellent. Waiter/ owners son was great. We ate early so it wasnt busy. Prices werent too bad either. Would definitely go back.
Great locals spot and very friendly for tourists! Come dance eat and drink! Id recommend it for sure!
I came to this place 2x while recently visiting San Pedro, Belize and I was very impressed with the service, the bartenders, and the food. The wings and nachos are soooo good! I will return soon!Shout out to G-O
Eat like a local in a comfy, upper deck atmosphere. Great food from whole fried fish (snapper), curry, surf & turf burger, crab, pork chops, shrimp chicken and much more. Owned bya local fisherman and family...serves only sustainable fish, and does it well.
Angler’s Restaurant Bar is having a Super Bowl party. So go root for your favorite team and enjoy some game-day specials - $1 wings, $3 tacos, chicken flautas, and shrimp poppers with fries. They will also be serving up $5 shots of tequila, jager, fireball, 2 for 1 margaritas and a tinzanos special.
WORST FISH EVER!We went to Anglers for lunch after a long day of diving. There where no other people in the restaurant and still it took almost an hour to get our food.I ordered the whole fish (red snapper) with backed potatoes and rice as a side for 30 bzd.The snapper didnt have any seasoning on it and tasted like an old smelly fish. The waiter confirmed us that the fish was frozen!Dont go to that place! I would recommend THE HUNGRY GROUPER close by and eat a proper red snapper
Wow! We stumbled across Anglers and it was a great surprise. The food was perfect and the vibe is fun.
Stumbled upon this place on our first day in San Pedro and were very happy we did! Restaurant is all open air but is on the 2nd floor so youre away from the noise and chaos of the street. Service was great and so friendly. We took our 5 month old son here with us who loved to gnaw on simple foods so the kitchen made a little corn tortilla from scratch for him to eat while we ate our tacos - which were also very good!
Great time. Perfect stop along the way to secret beach. Clive the bar tender is awesome.
Nice spot, was able to catch some breeze there for not being on the water. Food was pretty good
Really great food. doris was an amazing server. picked our own snapper and crab. coconut rice was amazing. best meal we had on san pedro
Nice place too have some drinks beside live music. Awsome!
Newest bar and grill in town. For fishermen and gals.
Nothing local about this place and definitely not worth the expensive food!
Favorite local sports bar,top notch
Was horrible and food was not worth it, took long to serve and was not worth the money spent there
