Oceanview Condo with shared poolWhen you go to San Pedro is a significant impact on options and costs. This review is for the beginning of the high season. November 25th through December 5th. This specific property at the Mara Laguna, C102, was a fine stay versus the price point. There are other units on the property that may offer a different ambience.Our stay was a lengthy stay at 9 nights. This offered plenty of opportunity for miscommunication and annoyances to set in. Keeping an eye on the big picture, the stay was worth the price point. The condo design offers and entrance on the interior of the resort and floor to ceiling windows (very dirty however that flaw became a feature as we stop worrying about being seen with the curtains open) and sliding glass doors (which fail to smoothly open, however once again, this flaw became a feature as we couldn’t get out without significant effort…no one else could get in without significant effort thus offering an added level of security) facing the ocean. Your visibility of the ocean could be challenged by construction or debris.The days ONE through FOUR where for the most part flawless. The adjacent nature to the street and being street level offered a wide range of noises from the morning commute starting about 545am. By 615am EACH morning a single gentleman moving at a snail’s pace on bike would serenade your slumber with music across genre but sharing the same very loud volume. (BRING EAR PLUGS IF YOU ARE A LIGHT SLUMBER or ADVERSE TO EARLY ROUSING). By DAY FIVE through SIX we were awaken by CONSTRUCTION on the front porch of the unit, with a very aggressive jackhammering of concrete. (WE contacted VACASA with the complaint and they work to remedy the annoyance to our satisfaction.)Also by DAY FIVE we had exhausted the paper towels and toilet paper in the unit. I surmised that these things were replaced between stays but because our stay span a longer period between cleanings, they didn’t get replaced. By DAY 8 we learned these things could have been requested. We bought them from the local market (CULTRUAL IMMERSION OPPORTUNITY).The roadways of the resort area are without paving. This will change in the future as new larger water pipes are laid.The pool area with bar and restaurant were there. The bar was not open as the high season was just getting started thus no info on pricing or service. The restaurant was also closed during this period. The pool was available. The nice lounge chairs shown in some pictures with units associated with the resort were NOT present. The chairs that were available were broken and/or uncomfortable. This limited our ability to enjoy the very clean and well maintain pool.All in all we would stay here again as the proximity to other spots is ideal.

Quite and secure while fishing off your back porch in a villa

Houses were quite spacious, a very quiet environment and not far from main town or any stores. Well secured location too!

Great location and amenities. The restaurant on the property was fantastic.

Everything was Amazing!! No complaints. Marco was great! I did notice when your in and out the door the ac above starts leaking but thats just from the condensation. Security was friendly. The condo itself was beautifully decorated just as in the pictures. Easy access to the beach. If you go to the Dive Bar across the street ask for bartender Z he was amazing.

Its a very nice and cool place. Good service at the restaurant and bar. Nice pool. And fun. Greet food and drinks. You all should go and take a visit. Bet you you love it.

Great place to stay in San Pedro. Large comfortable apartments with AC, internet and comfortable beds. Well equipped kitchen and washer dryers.Nice quiet place with good views and huge balconies.Nice pool and restaurant on site.

It’s OK. This is an apartment complex with a mix of holidays lets and permanent residents. Plus points: spacious apartment, good size communal pool, security. But some negatives: new apartment block being constructed opposite, scruffy landscapes, finish in apartments poor- E.g patio doors don’t lock. Location isn’t too bad- short stroll across bridge into town and actually a few good spots North of the bridge to explore anyway.

I enjoyed my stay here but I think it needs a few kinks to be worked out. The ocean view advertised is now being blocked by a building under construction. There was literally a construction building outside our balcony and room. The noise was unbearable but they did accommodate us with a better place.

Went here for my first vacation in years and it was absolutely amazing. Great place and I really enjoyed every single minute of my stay.

Concierge service was the best part of staying here. It was adequate for our needs but could use some fine tuning i.e., broken shade in bathroom window, padlock to lock door, held together with one screw. Beautiful view from balcony and minutes from the beach by golf cart, nice looks and a poolside bar. Very friendly guards, too.

Hotel was excellent for the original quoted price. Pay in cash- they charged me double what the agreed rate was.

Looks nicer in photos. Couches were a bit worn, broken curtain rods, not functional safe, patio doors dont slide open easy, and our front door broke off, tv and wi-fi was down. Bed was pretty comfy though. The broken things were manageable but we had a really terrible airbnb host that was not helpful or friendly. Nice view of lagoon and good location
