We had an amazing time with Melva trying out delicious food and beverages. We stopped at a upscale restaurants, and tiny places with just a couple tables. All were in the downtown area. Mel did a wonderful job explaining both the history of the food we enjoyed, as well as the people and establishments that brought them to us. I look forward to revisiting some of these places again on our trip. Highly recommend taking this tour early in you stay to help to find wonderful places to dine.

We had an excellent class with Kieron! The dishes and techniques were original and locally inspired, and the drinks were delicious and plentiful.

Kieron was our guide for the food tour and he was a great time. We met him in Central Park in San Pedro and we were off. We learned about Belize as well as the history of San Pedro and how it’s changed and evolved over the years. Sadly one of the restaurants we had been told to go and is normally visited by this tour was closed for remodeling during our visit, but we kept on.All of our food was great and I know that this tour was beneficial for showing us more real Belizean food because my husband and I never would have gone to some of these little places without this tour.Sadly the only photo I got was of the Panty Rippers we had at our first stop because I ate my food too fast because I was hungry and it was tasty.Kieron at the end of our tour walked all the way back with us to our golf cart and gave us more restaurant recommendations during the walk and then since we were headed to his area of Belize next gave us recommendations for there as well.

Definitely a great way to find all the best local spots and an awesome way to end our vacation. Absolutely everything was delicious!! The tour guide also did a fantastic job. I enjoyed learning the history of all of the best local joints.

This tour is AMAZING!! Our tour guide Melva was informative fun and a great guide. The food was true Belizean and excellent. Dont miss it . We got a true feel of the cuisine and now have a better feel for Sale Pedro and where to go.Thanks for an UNBELIZEABLE experience!!!

I have done the Belize food tour and ate my way around San Pedro. It was lots of fun. I recommend it as a tour because it is a great way to sample things you might not otherwise try.Gibnut at El Fogon is a good example of that. A sharable plate was great to try the Royal Rat but one to my self would be too rich. I also enjoyed seeing someones outdoor backyard coconut processing factory.I also did their cooking class once and enjoyed it a lot considering I do not like to cook. They made it fun, easy and factual about Belize foods and learning to cook local dishes.

One of the highlights of our trip! Excellent food (& lots of it!), drinks with an amazing guide, Kieron! We learn about the local foods and facts as well as some local history. I would definitely book it again!!!

This is the best food tour we’ve ever done! You eat SO MUCH FOOD. It’s all truely local places. Our guide, Kieron, was so accommodating, helpful and full of interesting information.

What a wonderful way for our group of 6 to get acquainted with San Pedro. We cant say enough about the experienced guide and the variety of food stops!
