Used to be excellent 10 yrs ago, terrible Peking duck, dried spareribs, and cold fried rice. Portion sizes were large. Doubt if i go back to eat again, wait around for service, why?
Fantastic food, friendly staff, consistently good vibes. They charge affordable rates and the food quality is fantastic. Fantastic work.
This spot always delivers. They have fresh food for convenient prices, there are no long waits even when the spot is packed.
Must try - hot and sour soup, pepper salted spare ribs, shrimps with walnuts in special sauce, pepper salted flounder, eggplant with hot sauce clay pot, sizzling chicken with black bean sauce, ma po beancurd, dry green bean with preserved vegetable, tomato beef chow mein with thin noodles, and black bean beef chow fun. Curry dishes and deserts were just average. Family atmosphere (typical for a chinese restaurant). Prices are fair for the large portions you get. Love this restaurant
Good value. Enough food for the money. Nice tables, reasonably nice decor.
Lots of parking space shared with other. neighboring stores. Food was ok and the place is small. Peking duck was flavorful but not tender.
I like the place for their dimsum, salt and pepper pork and general tsao. Traditional Chinese cuisine. Atmosphere is ok and cleanliness can be better.
Good portions but all 4 of our entree tasted same. Complimented with vague service and an aloof server, overall it makes for an ordinary experience.
We had a party of over 75 and they exceeded our expectations! Food was delicious and service was excellent.
They serve big portions and for affordable prices. very friendly staff. 5 stars.
Great service, great big portions
I had never come here before, but my cousins husband recommended it. We had a big party and we were hungry, so we got a lot of double portions. We ordered a lot of food, and it was delicious. We had fish maw soup, garlic peashoots, ying yang fried rice, regular fried rice, honey walnut prawns, sauteed flounder filet with Chinese broccoli, roast chicken with shrimp chip, pepper salted spareribs, fried tofu with shrimp, pan fried noodle with beef, string bean and probably more. I cant decide what was my favorite. It was all really good. I would come again.
The customer service is consistently fast, awesome atmosphere, very nice staff. I will visit here again when I arrive here.
While the outside of this venue doesn’t look too inviting, this place is definitely a hit to get some authentic chinese food and dim sum. You know its authentic cause its where all the asians and natives eat. Best served with a cup of tea and some dim sum.Prices arent bad either. Best to go during the lunch hour, where they also serve rice dishes for a decent price. Rice dishes come with soup. We spent around $15 only. It wasnt too busy unlike some other dim sum places.I ordered the mongolian beef and my friend the chicken. Not only do they serve authentic dishes, but their dimsum is delicious. They have all the classic dim sum. Favorites are the shumai of course and the shrimp in the rice paper. We had a lot of food to spare afterwards.
Friendly staff and good dim sum. I had 3 dim sum dishes for around $20. My favorite was the pan fried dumplings. Dont expect the best dim sum with these prices.
Best Chinese food in the Evergreen area. Their dimsum is very good
I think the chef left, service is good, but what about the taste? Give it a while bor them to hire a new cook. Just saying.
Seafood... yummy. Ill return with my coworkers. They have so many great reviews for a reason.
Convenient location IGA free parking good food good price good service
MMMMMmmm good
Food is great, service its ok, but very busy in holidays, like mothers day, fathers day.
Great dim sum place. Won ton soup is excellent. Very traditional! My family is regular customers. I know the owners for over twenty years. May be thirty. Many family members are working there. Very caring restaurant.
One of my favorite places to get food by far. Dim Sum is my favorite here
The fried salted pork chops were good. The fried green bean were good, the soup was good. The Kung pao was sorta so so, but I knew that going in. So Id go bavk
Tasty food but a lot of starch and rice not a lot of high-quality vegetables I asked for a side of broccoli and the only thing the waitress could offer me was $12 worth of broccoli and tofu or broccoli and beef but no side of broccoli for a few dollars .
Very good... well established 30 year old lunch and dinner house.
Good food. A little warm though.
Dim sum is good and price is very reasonable.
Used to be good but food quality has been going down hill lately.
The food is just water plus msg and sugar and even the rice is probably frozen. The only thing good there is the green onion they use as garnish
Great dim sum and service. Wish they would post prices, but no dim sum post prices I guess.
The popular neighborhood Chinese food place. East Lake has been undergoing some construction and is expanding again. It started as a small one room restaurant and has grown to take over the two lots next to it. Food is great, prices are fair, service is good.
Ive been coming here for about 10 years waited out the remodeling and its finally a gorgeous place with delicious food. The soups are perfectly balanced in flavor and ingredients and their plates are very generous. ai love how the orange chicken. has actual orange thin peel slices, the mogolian beef is deliciously coated on a bed of crunchiness and onions, they are also very generous in their seafood plates, this I know because if I can lose track of how many Ive eaten its a win!
Very good place to have a nice lunch or dinner with friends and family and the food is delicious
Keeps us coming back again and again. 30+ years of great food!
One of the best places to broaden your taste buds. I recommend their pepper salt baked crab, its out of this world!
Food are delicious. The only thing is the server seems not very nice.
Delicious food, great family owned restaurant, fast service
Loved it, price and food are great.
Its a cosy 80s style Chinese food restaurant. Quick service and reasonably well cooked food. This is the type of cuisine one goes to when one is thinking of the 70s and 80s American Chinese food. This was the way it was done before Panda Express took over. Today, in the Bay Area, this is a place that will feed a large extended family well at a reasonable cost. However, the style of cooking, Teochew blended in with Cantonese tweaked towards the American taste is pretty outdated. It needs to go back to its roots. Bring back the flavors that the Teochew carried to Vietnam and Hong Kong.
Food was good, good price recommend B- .
Always great Chinese food here. Been coming here for the last 20plus years. Good food and generous portions.
Excellent service and great recommendations for delicious food.
What great food! Fast and friendly service! Great prices!
Clean, nice and good foods
Excellent chinese food, good price too. Love to come here for dinner.
Dim sum is good and inexpensive
The place to eat right after church. But a bit much on the msg. Could be a lot less or maybe not having any would be suffice for my flavor too.
One of the better chinese restaurant here. Every thing we order was tasty and not to salty or too bland. The peking duck 2 ways is one of my favorites!
Im originally from San Francisco where you can find alot of good Chinese food & this was a good place I found in San Jose that would be safe to say it could compare to some of the places from the city
Its a good chinese food restaurant. My friends and I have a good time here.
I like food here. Nice hong kong style traditional food.
